This place is great! Great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. We walked in on a Friday night and were able to get a table on the lower level. I had the Division 16 burger and it was delicious. I also had a Naughty Hot Chocolate that was amazing and was exactly what I needed after a long day. I highly recommend this place. Food: Omg... do NOT recommend going for the food. I got the Poke Bowl (firstly, why did I get a Hawaiian dish at an American restaurant?) and it was NOT good at all. Waaaay too much rice, the sashimi or whatever in it didn't taste like sashimi and there was not a lot of flavors/toppings to enhance it. Drinks: The drinks are really pretty - I'm not super into alcoholic beverages but I remember they tasted pretty good... although I'm not the type of person that would buy drinks (would rather spend it on food) so I don't think I'd come back. Came here around 8pm when the original restaurant I was going to last minute had kitchen issues. I was already tired and hungry (yet not much appetite) and frustrated so had 0 expectations for this place. I got the drive thru chicken sammy. I was looking for something simple that is less bar foody. It turned out way better than expected that I have to give this 5*. The chicken was white meat. I normally avoid breast but this one was juicy and tender. Even by my last bite where it was obviously drier than the beginning, I did not struggle to eat it. The most surprising and yummiest part was how flavorful the breading was. I literally ate the fallen breading crumbs at the end. I don't like things that are fried too dry too hard too chunky which hurts my mouth when eating. This one was not an issue at all. Sauce was slathered over the chicken but at a reasonable amount. You can get some sauce without it being too soggy and there's variation in flavor throughout. Pickles were too sweet for my liking. I ended up taking it out. I would prefer more sour pickles (something closer to McDonald's would suffice). The bread was also very soft and fluffy. I forgot if it was toasted but I honestly don't particularly need it. The bread seemed fresh despite it already being late dinner. I like the fries a lot too. They have some sort of cajun/old bay spice on it but it wasn't too salty or smokey (don't like too smokey). It was also slightly too sweet but tolerable. The fries clearly got a bit soggy by the end of the meal but I'm happy with the crispy level and not dry inside. Other orders in my group included buffalo mac and cheese with chicken and a clam chowder. The buffalo mac and cheese was quite bland. There wasn't enough buffalo sauce so we got extra which ended up being a $0.25 charge. It did come out very hot and comforting. Clam chowder was quite flavorful and full of seafood too. Not necessarily surprising but definitely a lot better than many places. I know it's a bar but the vibe was very chill and friendly. There were people playing cards or celebrating a birthday or just catching up. No one was obnoxiously loud or anything. Overall very surprised by this meal especially the quality of the food considering the type of venue and time of day. I'd be happy to go again when I'm in a better mood and try other items with friends. read more

The place was pretty empty, and I asked the host to be sat with my two friends on the patio that had nice ambiance with string lights to enjoy the warm summer evening. She told us we had to sit at the bar inside, since the patio was only for customers ordering food. That seemed quite odd to me on an evening where there are not many patrons but we sat inside and ordered at the bar. My cocktail, Diablo Rosa, didn't have much flavor and seemed watery. Beautiful presentation of the double lobster roll which comes with New England Clam Chowder and a healthy serving of French Fries. Amazing location, very busy crowd at nights however the open layout of the establishment makes it work. Now on to the review of the food - this was one of the three chowders I had while visting Boston. The Chowder was perfect and fresh (almost too perfect - read on). When I came to Boston for Memorial Day Weekend I sought out a locally made fresh as can be filled NE clam chowder with tons of seafood in it. This one had the best tasting broth, freshest potatoes, and the clams that were present were extremly good. After a few bites and being extremely critical (acknowledging my own food snobbishnesh) only faults are : could have been more seafood in the chowder and there was not anything extremely unique about the chowder as a whole. I stand by my statement this was the best of the three chowders I tried in the Boston area - the other two were more unique espescially the one I ordered at LIR however like anything in life its your personal preference on what you are looking for. Is it a good bowl of chowder or a unique one of a kind chowder? I recommend this spot for the view, location, great price points, and do not think you will be disappointed. The bar food is good, TVs all on the Alabama game in the back area (with sound), and the staff plays music during the commercials (Dixieland Delight, etc.). I'm honestly shocked to see that this rating is so low. This is a place I'd never been to but always walked by and thought it looked nice. I was told that they have an impeccable patio setup for the pandemic, so myself and 2 other people decided make a reservation a Friday night. The setup did not disappoint! There were many heat lamps, and they weren't the ones that look like giant lanterns that barely heat 2 feet in front of itself, these were nice lamp-like heaters that were mounted to the perimeter of the patio and were tilted down towards the tables. Truly couldn't have asked for better. I had a hoodie and a coat on during 34° weather and I was honestly a totally comfortable temperature. Who would've ever thought dining outside in the middle of February in Boston would be nice! I'll also note that we did request to be seated as close to a heater as possible. The way it's setup is that they have "walls" around the side, but no roof and no front so there's plenty of air circulation. When you're seated though, you don't feel the wind slapping at you since there's technically a "wall" beside you. Throughout our stay, you could see the staff actively sanitizing tables, everyone was wearing their masks correctly and they made a point to mention to have your mask on if you were to get up from your table. This is just overall a great place to go if you're a covid conscious person. The drinks are also quite good and some of them are very strong as well. I had the winter bull drink special and it was poured great and they gave me the whole Red Bull can as well. I then had a Grape Crusher was was delicious but I didn't think it was worth the price tag. (More on prices later) The food was very alright. It wasn't necessary anything to write home about but it also didn't disappoint. We had the mozzarella sticks which were great and I absolutely loved the fact they were served with vodka sauce. The fried pickles were yummy too and in abundance, though I wish the sauce those came with was a little more flavorful. I got the Buffalo Mac bowl which definitely was good but the toppings were just a little much and the actual pasta didn't really have much cheese on it. The chicken itself was good. I just think it has way too much carrots, Brussels sprouts, and bacon since I thought they would just be toppings but they were really an equal ingredient to the pasta. Overall, I absolutely think that the food is overpriced for what it is. That being said, this is back bay so that's literally the trend for the whole area. Do I think $14 for chicken tenders with no fries is absurd? Yes of course, but walk down the street and it's gonna be the same thing anywhere else in the area. At least they're local instead of nearby chains. The drinks are fairly priced and poured. I think this ultimately is a great place to come and have some apps and drinks. The reason it gets major points is because their Covid patio setup is unmatched for the winter time. read more

Just a few steps from the Hynes Convention Center in The Back Bay. I had walked past the night before and the place was packed with a lively crowd, so I decided to check it out for lunch the next day. Had a blackened grilled chicken Caesar salad for lunch. So honestly not a terrible bar but the bartender is a jerk and because of that I will never attend again. Did I bring a beer from home into the bar? yes. We stopped in here for a drink and as soon as we were seated they told us we had to order food as well. Ok, haven't had that happen before but if that's their rule then that's what it is. We had already had dinner so we asked the waitress what she recommended. She said the s'mores desert was great. One of the worst restaurants I've been to in Boston. The service was horrible and our waiter (blond girl in the outside patio) was incredibly rude and unprofessional. i love coming to dillon's to watch boston sports games! there can sometimes be a wait but it hasn't been too bad. i love that they're one of the only places in the city that have fried pickles. their food isn't anything crazy. my roommate loves the cheeseburger egg rolls or a regular burger. i like their veggie burger, but vegetarian/vegan i don't recommend ordering the salads. good sports bar atmosphere with an awesome outdoor patio read more
