I have been a Dillon Precision customer for about forty years. Their products are amazing. I went to their location in Scottsdale about a month ago for a couple of items. One of the items was to replace a Primer Early Warning System. It was about thirty five years old. It just wouldn't beep/buzz when the rod pushed down on it. I tried to repair (replace the batteries, checked the wires inside, clean up any electrical connections) and just figured it was tired and done with. It would work sometimes but not always. The price was reasonable for a new one and I was just going to buy it. The man at the counter had the part and asked me a couple questions about the old one. He then said he was not going to charge me for the part. He said it was covered under the warranty. That is great customer service. read more

Another Update I just sent in my second Square Deal B press to Dillon to be cleaned, lubed, and checked. They got it Monday morning and called me Tuesday evening telling me it's ready to return. They replaced several parts, took the powder measure apart and cleaned and lubed that, and replaced the primer alarm. They charged me nothing. Wednesday I got the FedEx tracking number telling me it's on the way back. Imagine, a 3 day turn around to get this 25 year old press (which was still in great shape in general) back like new with new parts as needed, and no cost to me whatsoever. Please don't tell me there is another company out there that even comes close to this kind of service. Each time I deal with Dillon they exceed my expectations by leaps and bounds. With the two presses I have I estimate I've reloaded 20,000 - 30,000 rounds. I'll reload another 2,000 - 3,000 this Summer. Anyone that buys a reloading press from another company is out of their mind!!! You can quote me! read more

As an employee for [REDACTED], it was really cool to check out their display machines and get to talk to some of the guys at the facility about their products. The store front is very simple, but it was really nice to see that they carried a good selection of other products aside from reloading-specific accessories. I don't drink the Dillon "Koolade" anymore. unfortunately, I've had to (try) to use the 'No BS warranty", only to find it total BS. after writing them about it and all I got were "crickets chirping" for a response, I walked away from Dillon Precision after a 30ish year relationship. It's not the same company that was under Mike Dillon's watchful gaze. They shouldn't have tried to sell me another scale instead of warranty the one I've already bought and paid for. I'm ordering another scale elsewhere. That's twice they've screwed me over a scale. I have a Dillon RL 1100 That I love using. Everything has always been great except for reloading 10mm. In the past, Dillon has been excellent in there customer service and even sent me free replacement parts and such. I finally figure out the problem with reloading 10mm. The Swage Backup Expander enters the case so deep do to the case depth of a 10mm, that it is expanding the case way beyond where the bullet actually seats and will not chamber properly in a Wilson case gauge nor will they chamber in my Dan Wesson 10mm Bruin or my Para Elite. The Crimp Die does not resize the mid area of the case when crimping. I called today and spoke with Lee in Technical DEPT. His attitude was pretty much oh well. I tried explaining to him that the (W) Swage Backup Expander is not machined far enough up the stem for a 10mm. His attitude royally sucked. I am not sure is I will purchase anymore of their products in the future with the customer service having gone to crap!!! Luckily, we have some great Machine Shops here in Las Vegas where I can have it machined properly. read more

I have three Dillon machines for different calibers, purposes. Super easy to use, tons of how to videos avl, easy to change calibers. I only wish the BFR was more friendly for 375CT, or maybe if they don't sell certain thread converters for the dies, then a help list of where to go. I always had a good experience here over the years but some time ago I had a bad run in with one of their staff who was rude. I never got his name but another staff said his last name was Gorbenko? He told me that this guy was busted by the ATF years ago and can't legally own guns and can't understand how he is working here. I don't know if this is true, but I went back to the store last week to give them another chance and was happy so I can recommend them. Dillon Precision 1050. TOP of the line. Like a fine watch - runs great WHEN it runs, costs $$$$ when it don't. Have mine since 2013 run 10,000+ rounds through it, then... Tech support says "...slow down..." as their expert assessment as to primer issues. Customer Support says $.50 brass pins are $2.40 EACH + $9 shipping and do NOT include the base tabs (sold separately). Answer to powder spilling all over, "...reload a bigger cartridge..." My grandaddy's rock chucker STILL works. My daddy's Hornady is 10x as reliable. By all means, buy a Dillon to show off, buy ANYTHING else to actually rely on. read more

I ordered from Dillon a Dillon 9mm carbide set on 5/26/2022 (Order # W000948087). Yes, approximately 8 months ago. I just called Dillon 7:10 AM PST 1/23/2023 talked to Aaron. He said it may take another 6 months or more to receive my order. Dillon charges for ordered products upon order so Dillon has been earning interest on my money for 8 months and will earn more money in interest for 6 or more months while I pay the interest on my credit card. Dillon just discovered a new way of generating revenue from nothing. Well, actually from us customers. Imagine that interest times number of customers waiting! Time to report Dillon to BBB. I used to like Dillon (about 25 years ago when I shoot IPSC) but not anymore. I'll pay more for other products than buy Dillon from now on. I'll tell everyone I know as well. Worst Customer service ever. Ordered quick change and other things Website said everything was in stock. After 4 weeks of waiting I had to email them several times before I got an answer from them. 2 items were on back order. It would be another 5-10 weeks. I tried to call and that seems to be something they like to do less then answering emails. So I emailed them again and canceled the order. I could get everything locally. Never heard back until I recieved an email from them saying my order has shipped. I rejected the delivery on Sunday and told FedEx to send it back. Monday FedEx delivered the damn thing again. Now I'm stuck on death hold listening to the same crappy jingle on repeat. Tried the call back option after 4 hrs no call. NEVER ORDER ANYTHING DIRECTLY FROM DILLON! read more

I recently bought a used SL900 shotshell press from a cowboy action shooter acquaintance- when it arrived from him I looked it over and almost sent it back for a refund- but I called Dillon customer service and they said to return the machine to the repair shop and they would look it over. I put a note in the box with the extremely dirty and several broken parts- press- the guy I bought it from had been loading black powder subs- and had never cleaned it-anyway- 10 days after I sent the machine to Dillon, the FEDEX truck pulled up in my driveway today, and the 900 is there, completely refurbished and ready to load my sts hulls-1oz- every part had been replaced not a speck of dirt anywhere-it looks like a brand new machine! Any time I have had a problem with one of their presses or a set of dies, or lost a locater button out of a conversion kit, (and the problem was usually my fault), they took care of it quickly and at minimum or often at no cost. Best, the retail store staff took considerable time over several visits to explain what I needed to get started. Since I needed everything, the bill was on the high side. After receiving my tax refund, I bought the whole bundle of stuff and got started reloading 45 and 9 mm. Reloading is like plumbing - I always need more advice or someone to double check my attempts. Good how-to CD, lots of help on YouTube and live help from experienced staff when I needed an in person visit to the store - again. Not only do the store staff intimately understand reloading, but are competitive shooters as well. I'm competent now reloading both pistol and rifle rounds. The same press does it all with different size dies. When I have bent or broke things on the press, they give me free replacements with a few spares. Dillon customer service has taken a complete nose dive from what it used to be. I called about some large items missing from an expensive order, the person answering the phone was rude and abrupt. I am missing nearly $700 worth of items from my order, and it was obvious the person on the phone could care less. If I need to I will be disputing the charges on my credit card and they can come and pick what did ship. read more

Unbelievable company with the world's best, bar none, warranty. I bought a used Square Deal B to load 45 and 9. It came set up for 45, so I loaded 200 rounds. They shot great. Went to switch the press for 9mm and discovered a prior owner had stripped some threads, re-threaded some holes, so the new 9mm parts wouldn't work (wrong sized bolts). Contacted Dillon and they said send it, or bring it in and they would rework the press UNDER WARRANTY!!!! Got it back today, and it's like a brand new press. I am a Dillon Fan for life. I'm learning reloading but my boyfriend is already doing his own in different calibers and had some questions. Truly a source of expertise here at Dillon. They also have a good variety of powders to choose from (Hodgkin smokeless to Winchester). Love the thinner profile classic blue Dillon color ammo boxes. There are reloading manuals for calibers from 9mm Luger, .357 Magnum to .308 Winchester and many others in between. Also a variety of gun guides available. And of course who could miss their impressive selection of world-class progressive presses that are an incredible work of precision!
