Despite how crazy it is in there due to holiday shopping all staff were very helpful. BUTTTT!!!! One associate that stood out was REGINA. She was at the register and was super helpful. Horrible experience with Luis, the cashier, and Kelly, the manager, at the time today, June 17th, around 5 and 6 pm. Luis assumed I was a teenager and decided to yell from the cashier area say if we were buying something or playing around. The tennis area is a mess over stacked tennis racks. When trying to get to one, you have to pull them all out due to them not being in the correct place. Every tennis rack was in the wrong place as I was getting to the one I needed. Some accidentally fell, causing some noise, unfortunately. My way of handling this was to send an employee to help the customer. Not yell across, causing my anxiety. I asked to speak to the manager. Kelly was already standing their so she heard everything but did not care to do her job as a manager. She simply said it is usually teenagers like it is ok to speak to anyone in that way. Speaking to the manager was like speaking to a wall, with no reaction, just excuses. I left feeling horrible, and so did my wife. I do not recommend anyone to shop at Dicks in Temecula. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Would appreciate another manager contacting me. Thank you. read more

We walked in looking for shoes for back to school, we went straight to the shoes and Ashton the guy that "helped" us, was not very helpful, we asked him if they had a certain shoe in stock,and without him even looking he said no, and then we asked him if they had another shoe in stock, we had to wait 30 minutes for him to come back and it wasn't even the right shoe, probably never coming back here again! read more

Kyle the manager saved the day for me. My first time here needing to do a return as I received shoes for Christmas that were too big. This store is about 30 mins from me and when I returned the shoes I did not notice the cashier gave me a gift card that was valid for in store purchases only. I called the store and Kyle had me come back down and he helped me resolve this issue and made it right. He was very calm and friendly even when the store was super busy for after Christmas returns. It is so convenient how they changed this location to the mall! Great new and organized store with everything easy to find! And couldn't be happier they have this location at the mall. If I were able to leave a 0 star I would. Was given a coupon from Temecula LL. The store would not honor. I asked for the manager, and spoke to her.. She did nothing to help. I have 3 kids that ALL play sports and we get these coupons all of the time so it's not like they are a rare event! Manager Gave me the run around.. I even reached out to their corporate chat line and was given the same POOR customer service. It's ok... Sporting goods sector is very competitive and there are plenty of options online. Went for grand opening. They had it set up great. Employees to greet, employees in each section. We ended up buying lots of stuff from multiple pairs of shoes to baseball and soccer equipment and men's apparel. Went in after the grand opening to buy a couple of chairs. I understand that they can't have tons of employees all the time, but not a single employee talked to us the entire experience as we wandered around the store. We brought our stuff to the register and the lady said how's your day going. I wanted to provide the feedback so maybe they could improve. I told her the grand opening was great with helpful employees but today nobody said a word to us and basically ran in the other direction whenever we saw someone. She simply replied, "I know". So I assume that feedback stopped with her. When we left we realized my daughter needed a volleyball so we went back in. Same experience (not sure why we'd expect it to change in a couple of minutes) but this time a very helpful and energetic guy at the register helped us. He had a trainee label on his shirt and I hope they kept him. This week I went in and the feeling I'm invisible to DSG continued. Nobody said hello, I went to the soccer shoe section. I could not find a single pair in the size I needed, which is understandable I suppose as our town gets bigger and demand is high. After looking through the boxes for about 15 mins with no sight of any employee, I found 2 pair a half size bigger than needed for my daughter so I thought I'd go ahead and get them anyway. One was a display so only had 1 shoe and the others were obviously returned with hair inside and the cleats had been worn down with dirt on them. I eventually found the display shoe which was supposed to be white on top but was brown from being handled so much. I put it in the box and realized there are no prices on the shoes. The other displays had a price on the insert but not the one I found. I walked around the store looking for a price scanner as I know some of their shoes are $280 and I didn't want to wait in line with 2 pair of shoes that were too big if they were $280. I couldn't find any so decided to go wait in line for the register. As I walked up a guy with a scanner gun made eye contact with me and quickly went the other way without a word. So maybe I wasn't invisible or maybe he didn't work there and we are supposed to use our own scanner guns. I waited for the 1 open register. They were talking and talking as I'm holding my $50 to $500 shoes that are used and are not the right size. The people finally finish up so it's my turn but then they turn around and walk back and start asking the register person questions. After a while I gave up, put the shoes back in the soccer section and left - still nobody saying a word to me read more

unfortunately on April 12th 2023 I went to try and buy a golf club in dicks in the Temecula mall with my 3 friends, naturally I went to try it out where the putting section is,I looked behind a counter and there was a ball on the floor, I tried to get the ball with my club then when a older gentleman presumably in his 60s in a black/grayish polo shirt with white receding hair and a white mustache (I would assume it was the manager) proceeded to say "I think you should put that back,and the putt" I then listened and then my friend suggested to try the golf simulator (there was no signs or anything advising us we were not allowed in, the lights turned on and the computer was on and functioning) my Friends were about to use the simulator then I got a phone call and walked a-bit off to the distance, then I see the older gentleman again trying to run toward the simulator and said "that's it get OUT all of you" so me and my friends left. Horrible service! I would I got his name to call corporate, I am willing to change my review if the older gentleman apologized for being rude and kicking us out for no reason and store credit. I will not be recommending dicks sporting goods to any of my associates at the country club and advise them to stay away. read more
