They cater to the north valley outdoor enthusiast: hunting, fishing, shooting, camping, barbecuing, you'll find your items here. This store is fairly new and is located within North Valley Plaza in the building once occupied by Mervyn's. The plaza has a lot of free parking and is easy to access from both the Cohasset Road and East Avenue freeway exits. I enjoy coming here to stock up on pellets for my Traeger grill. Easily the lowest price in town here. There is always a good selection and a wide assortment of options. They seem to have sales often as well which makes shopping here all the more enticing. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, too. You won't get a true Cabela's experience here, but definitely come if you are in need of outdoor gear at a good price.

Then on November 16th I received another email stating that my order was placed on back order AGAIN and that it'd be shipped out on 11/30.  I then received an email on November 27th saying that my order has shipped, however, everytime I check tracking it says "pre-shipment, waiting on item from seller to ship"... it's now December 18th. Just a few days until Christmas. I showed up and I got exactly what they said they would give me which is a full on in depth lesson on what size board is best for me what shape is best for me they were super informative and really, really helpful. As far as people saying that this place is overpriced. I think that's not true at all. They have a ton of boards and gear that is a year old and heavily discounted. Everyone I worked with was super friendly and they found me stuff that is not only going to improve my snowboarding, but make my trips a lot easier, and more fun because I finally have the right gear that fits me correctly. 1000 out of 10 this was one of the best shops I've ever been to! Definitely come here for your snowboard/ski needs !! I bought a new snowboard, new bindings, and new boots, and I left them there while I went and spent Christmas with my family while they waxed both my boards and mounted my new bindings on my new board for free! I read some of the previous reviews left here about how they are comparing famous footwear to other stores and how they don't have a bathroom, etc... Really people?! This store always has a great selection of shoes and accessories to choose from. I'm always amazed! Oh, and Best Buy is literally right next to famous footwear so if you really need to use the restroom don't be lazy and just walk over people, no need to bash this store for not having one. They have a huge selection online as well and are always willing to order shoes for you. So if you don't see certain shoes or accessories you like in the store, they will help you out. A lot of stores do the same thing, so no need to complain about this one. I really like how they have a wide selection in bigger sizes as well since they can be hard to find locally. I recommend signing up to their reward programs as it comes in clutch and they always have greats deals like the "BUY ONE, GET ONE". I will continue to shop here as I am always treated very kindly by the staff and always find great products here.
