I'd like some soup options to feel like I'm getting something more nourishing once in a while. In terms of beverages, I try to avoid drinking alcohol and soda nowadays. It just doesn't agree with my body like it used to. It would be great if they could add some kombucha options (GT's or Humm) or any of the new apple cider vinegar based sodas or probiotic sodas. They'd probably get more business from me if they just improved the menu. I'm usually already there for the games - just please consider people who are trying to be a little healthier when developing your menu!

As my family comes from the south, we love barbecue so when I heard about this place, I knew I had to give it a try. I had the 3 meat plate that consisted of spicy cheddar sausage, pulled pork, and brisket. Let me just say that this was amazing. The brisket and pork smoked perfectly, the barbecue sauce as well which is next to the fountain drinks is also amazing. The sweet barbecue sauce had this kind of sugary taste to it and it complimented the savory flavor of the meat. The plates usually come with 2 sides and a roll. If I were anyone else, I'd recommend the Texas toast because the roll was not what I imagined it to be. It was harder than I anticipated and it wasn't fluffy like a roll should be. For my two sides, I chose Mac and cheese as well as fried okra. The Mac and cheese was that stereotypical Mac and cheese where it looks like it came out of a box, not really soul food like when you compare it to the home made cheese sauce or the bread crumbs. When I walked in I was greeted although I wasn't helped as fast as I liked to be. It took about a minute or two for the guy to help me out. However he was a very nice guy, asked me how my day was while he was preparing my plate and made me feel welcome. To top off the visit, they had free ice cream but there was nothing to put it in! Before I had the chance to grab a cone, one of the workers unfortunately took the last cone without restocking the cone holder. It looked very presentable, had a very smooth and creamy look to it just looked very appetizing sucks I never got the chance to taste it! Overall I highly recommend this place especially if you love barbecue and soul food. read more

I placed my order through the app. They have a deal right now for a free taco with purchase through the app. So, I've been here before. Zero issues today or with prior visits. Beverage options include mango iced tea. Yasss. They have coke products. They have a salsa bar. I love a good salsa bar. Lots of options for types of salsa and toppings. My fave salsa is the green salsa. They also have jalapeños and carrots. I got 3 kinds of tacos. Langostino taco -my fave taco from here. It's full of langostino and the combination of flavors are so good. It's mild in flavors, but exactly what you want when you're craving a langostino taco. Avocado is included. It's like $7 after tax for just a singular taco (for this one, not the others), but I crave this one constantly. Shrimp taco- battered big juicy pieces of shrimp really bring it home. It wasn't too salty, and they weren't overcooked. It comes with cabbage and pico de gall and a little sauce. Yum. Signature fish taco -battered fish (no picture bc it got mushed up before I ate it, wouldn't do it justice) however it's crispy battered fish, it was just a little oily, but flavor-wise was pretty good.
