That said..,the toilet bowl is what you'd imagine in the pits of hell. Layers upon layers of brown water stain the back, due to constant water flowing. I would have lost my appetite had I seen the toilet before dining. I understand it's an old building but a new toilet costs $150 bucks and you're water bill must have already lost that amount for how long this has been an issue by the looks of the problem. The pulled pork and brisket were OK. Strangely my brisket was moist and juicy but my wife's was dry. The sides were extremely disappointing - the potato salad and coleslaw were obviously Sysco or similar. The mac and cheese was pretty solid, beans were mediocre. Their sauce wasn't very good either, tasted like generic commercialized sauce. On a positive note, they did have Barq's Red Creme soda as a fountain option. I heard some folks talking about the pork chops on Thursday that are supposedly really good so maybe I'll come back to they them sometime.

Parking was easy, especially now that the neighboring business has been torn down. The area is nicely paved, and there was plenty of space. Everything we ordered was delicious. The rolls were as good as always! I ordered the fried fish with a Caesar salad and a sweet potato. Their sweet potatoes are one of my favorite sides. My husband had the ribeye with a Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. Our 4-year-old enjoyed the kids' hot dog meal with green beans, and our 1-year-old had the junior crispy tenders with seasoned rice. I absolutely love their seasoned rice. Our waitress was very attentive and suggested a drink I didn't even know they offered, a Cadillac margarita topped with Grand Marnier. It was delicious! My husband ordered the Long Island Iced Tea and enjoyed it as well. We visit Texas Roadhouse at least every other week because it's become a family favorite. The food is consistently good, the prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is welcoming for families. One of the managers, MaKayla, is always so kind. Cajun style or simply fried, it's all amazing. To go on the side of all these amazing entrees they have a nifty selection of sides that reflect the local tastes. One of their specialties most famous is their MoJo Potatoes, which are nicely seasoned cubed fried potatoes. Then there's the local favorite, Carrot Soufflé.
