Decided to order the lunch special again and try a new flavor. Started with a request of a familiar one (hot honey with lemon pepper) and a new flavor Jamaican Jerk. After the order was taken I was informed I could only do one flavor with the lunch special (five wings, fries, bread and a drink for $9.99) which was not a problem so I went with the newest choice for me which was Jamaican Jerk, regular fries and bread with a drink of choice which I picked the "kool-aide lemonade mixture" which by the way was great. The only complaint from this visit is that my wings were cold and dry. The dryness was not from the sauce but from the way the chicken was cooked prior to saucing. The sauce was good but it would have been more enjoyable if my wings were not cold when I got them. I'll write this off as a bad day and give myself more time before another visit.

I would've gotten them as a meal with a salad had I known! So good! I was intrigued by the muffuletta pizza so I ordered it on the cauliflower crust. Pretty good! Several people ordered the ribeye and said it was good. Nice size and it comes with a salad and another side. That is still a good deal in my opinion! Our server was really attentive. Big Mike's has several rooms you can use for your private event. There is no charge based on the number of people you have. We had around 15 this time but next year, look out. There are several fixed menus to choose from. For us, we went all out and got the $27 per person menu. Talk about a steal. It even included a ribeye and baked potato and everyone got a salad and cheesecake. The food all came out at the same time and my steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. You can add booze if you choose and their prices are very reasonable. Even though I paid the bill I have no idea what drinks cost but I do know one of the chocolate martinis someone drank was like $2-5 and double bourbons were super cheap for what we received. We did go to the bar next door after the party. There was a band and a bunch of interesting and friendly folks. If you need a private meal location, add Big Mike's to your list.
