She came to my home tasked with recommending new cabinets and countertops. Practiced in measuring and design principles she scoped out the kitchen work, much to be funded by the insurance company. My kitchen adjoined a room addition that leads to my backyard. The space was unused. Angie recommended removing the wall that separated the kitchen, removing the pantry shelves, place the refrigerator in that former space, and extend the countertop into the addition with three more cabinets or two cabs and a wine cooler. I accepted her recommendation and now have MORE storage without a pantry, more livable/useful space and a beverage/breakfast area for sipping coffee or having a buffet style counter for cookouts & get togethers! She recommended the shelf drawers inside the cabinets and being able to pull out a drawer without having to dig to get to items in the back is wonderful. We shortened the length of the island and placed a drawer microwave beneath it. I thought I might miss the longer island, but am enjoying having more floor space instead. I had consulted with Angie when her previous employer redid my shower. That makes me a repeat customer of hers and she has earned my trust and respect. She's changed my life with her work and I am Grateful!

However, after I took a look at the invoice which had several discrepancies, but there was also numerous errors on the receipt...fuzzy accounting. Not only did we not get the 10% veterans discount, we were overcharged 100 sqft of carpet which wasn't used. And even after I told them that the estimated sqft-age was wrong and no one bothered to correct it. So, I'm stick with 100 sqft of carpet I can't use... Everyone was in a BIG hurry to get the SALE, but no one bothered to make sure it was correct. And when I brought these discrepancies up to the sales staff, I was assured everything was going to be worked out. But now that the SALE is finalized, it none of their concern and the only thing the sales rep says, is "I'm Sorry", like my wife and I didn't hear her correctly. NO, WE WERE LIED TO!!! In fact, everyone we dealt in the Flooring Department lied to us. I asked ever time we were in Lowe's trying to select the right carpet. I have a GOOD-MIND to take them to court. They misrepresented themselves, lies numerous times to get the SALE. I don't know if they know this but oral contracts are binding in the State of Illinois. And to top it all off, we never received the GIFT CARD for 10% off the carpet... WTH is this Lowe's coming to...
