Called on a Monday and service was scheduled for Thursday. the technician showed up as scheduled. Within 15 minutes the issue with the dryer was found. The technician had to leave to get the parts and returned in 30 minutes. The repair worked. The labor cost was only $65 so we were pleased. Great job read more

Ken's was so helpful and professional. I highly recommend this service. I called with a washing machine issue, sent a photo of the machine's ID--they ordered the part, texted me it's price for an okay and gave me a final total for the job. They called to confirm the part's arrival and came the following day to install it. I couldn't be more pleased. Kens fixed my microwave. The repair was easy but a part needed ordered. They called to set a time for me to have it fixed, so I called back to let them know I needed another time. Never got a call back until the evening before. By then, I had set my calendar as I actually have to plan ahead my days. The communication for setting appointments is rough, but the pricing and service on site is great. That's why it's a 4 star and not 5 - communication. read more

Was supposed to come work on our oven in New Berlin. Serviceman called us to tell he was on our way and left a voicemail because we weren't by the phone. Called back nine minutes later, and he had already driven all the way back to Springfield instead of showing up to his appointment at our house. Our landlord set us up with kens and we had to call to make an appointment, they never called us. We said for monday and they said they would call on monday for a time. Today is monday and they sent someone over and called us when he showed up while my wife and i were sleeping. They should have waited till we answered before sending someone. read more

You want a successful business, try not being hateful and rude to your customers! Because I couldn't pay the balance in FULL and offered to make a payment over the phone, you wanted to argue and then say "you are apparently someone who just doesn't pay her bills so I'll do you a favor and take care of this one for you and you just never call us again". FYI, some of your customers have a very restricted budget and are working one full time job, part time job, going to school and a single mother so money doesn't come in easy. I work damn hard to pay my bills and paying payments on higher bills to make by. If you can't understand that and want to insult me, I will have no problem letting others know about how you treat people. read more

Just be aware, they won't call and tell you that they aren't coming the day you're scheduled for an appliance repair because the part that's missing hasn't come in yet. I just wasted my entire day for someone to be here at my house because I was told that someone would be here between 8am-4pm. I took the day off work for this bull crap! All they could tell me is that "it slipped through the cracks". Maybe you need better management if things just "slip through the cracks". read more

Would not recommend Ken's Appliance for Warranty work of any kind. New home, Appliances came with new home, LG dishwaser broke after 53 weeks. I contacted LG, LG provided me a control number for exception since warranty was only 1 week out. LG provided me with Ken's appliance for warranty work. Bill of sell was offered when technician inspected, Ken's said it was out of warranty and would be $2xx.xx dollars to repair, would not submit to LG for warranty. Ken's Appliance turned into collections over $45 dollar service that LG said they would pay. Ken's confirmed today they did not submit it because 1 year warranty was over. I paid collections agency rather than disputing though them and have $45 affecting my credit. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Had a fridge issue and their tech was sent out three times. All he did to diagnosis the problem was to use a screw driver and flashlight. Out fridge is not keeping cold yet he says there is not an issue. The main office will not return my calls and I will never go with them again! I gave them one star for showing up but common courtesy says to call before showing that didn't occur. Poor service all the way around. read more

They really need to work on their customer service. You have to call, they don't call you. I never got a call my part was in, I called and every time they schedule. After about a month and a half they said my fridge was "unrepairable", they charged me when I wasn't suppose to be. So I had to get a reimbursement through the warranty company. I called to tell them it still wasn't working, no one relayed the message to the correct person. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the guy that came out was very nice. It did end up fine with my warranty in the end, but there seemed to be a lot of head ache and run around to get to the solution. read more

My dishwasher just completely crapped out on me. OH THE HORROR! Called Ken's and they had a guy out the next day. They did their fancy diagnostic on it and found out in literally 20 minutes that it was a bad motor... The only issue i had was that i had to wait for the part for 7 business days! OMG doing dishes by hand... just plain sucks. Anyway I don't feel i can fault them for not having the part... If you don't have it you don't have it but when they did get it they came right away put it in and its all better. The part ended up being cheaper than they originally quoted me so that was a nice surprise. I waited a couple weeks before writing the review just in case hahaha. Oh the tech was very clean by the way, literally couldn't tell he was there taking stuff apart. THANKS GUYS! read more

Great customer service over the phone and in person. I called early afternoon and within 2 hours the repairman was looking at my washing machine. He told me what my options were and did not pressure me to take the more expensive route. He followed up Monday morning to see what I had decided to do, worked out a time around my schedule for that afternoon and fixed it very quickly. Our dishwasher went out over the 4th of July weekend. On Monday I called four diferent companies, one of whom promised to get to me by Friday. One company had all of their technicians gone for two weeks training, the other didn't service our brand but recommended Ken's. Ken's service came early afternoon on Tuesday, provided quick and efficient service at a very reasonable price. They will be my first call for appliance repair from now on. read more

Would not recommend!! We recently had a samsung washer and dryer serviced that are under warranty. The dryer was serviced. After servicing the dryer it did not function correctly with our first load. The repairman said he would come out on saturday but never showed up. So we wasted a saturday morning waiting for him. One week later he came back again to fix the washer and dryer. The dryer was not connected by him correctly before causing it to malfunction. He easily fixed that mistake and the dryer was functioning correctly. Then it was time to replace a part that was collecting water and causing a foul smell on our perfectly functioning washer. Well, it was replaced and he started a cycle and recommended it to complete. The problem was that it never put water in the washing machine and he already left. We contacted the company and his personal cell number and it got us nowhere. He first started saying that he needs to contact Samsung and then started arguing that it was working before he left. It was literally a 10 minute phone call of not taking accountability of not completing a job. And then he was trying to lie and tell us we were wrong. Ok its now 1-1/2 weeks of not being able to do laundry and now we arguing about someones incompetencies! (First time he didn't connect the dryer right, second time he didn't show up, third time he broke a functional washing machine) Well I called the owner and understand why incompetence is allowed. I requested a new repairman because of the above problems and lack of trust with his repairman. He said that the repairman was already paid for the job so he won't send another one out. He argued that the repairman showed up but we weren't home that saturday around 12:15.. And then he said that because we missed a call that the repairman didn't have to show up. Because he was unwilling to pay another one of his employees to repair the mistakes made by his company he told me to find another place to get it repaired. I am so confused, I feel they have no customer appreciation. And I agree with Matthew above! Poor service all around up to management. read more
