I was truly impressed with all aspects, from beginning to completion. when they came to give me my estimate, to the scheduling and the work quality, everything went like a well oiled machine. I couldn't have done a better job myself. I will be using them every year. It is refreshing to only have the job completed the first time. I give very few recommendations, but this company is deserving.

If Stanley Steemer had taken the theft seriously, I would have commended them for taking action. Instead they ignored it and I assume the thief is still working for the company. Shame on Stanley Steemer. 4/24 Review: Have used the Rockford Stanley Steemer before but, had a crew out on a recent Saturday to clean carpets, tile floor and, ended up adding cleaning of a leather couch while they were on the job. This was a pretty big job. 1. I was not quoted accurately for the couch cleaning and when the bill was tallied, I was charged a huge amount for a simple wipe down. 2. One of the crew members helped themselves to my mother's purse. Took the whole thing with them. While we missed pulling it out of the room where the couch was cleaned before they arrived, apparently too tempting. 1 crew member was on her own for an hour in that room and just took it! They TOOK a 92-year-old woman's purse. Her SS card, Veterans Admin card, cash, credit card, checkbook. We filed a police report, and I called the manager of the facility. I was not offered anything but a "sorry - hard to hire, staff is normally good...." Careful before you invite them into your home. Very disappointed and appalled.

I hired Aire Serve Springfield, IL to furnish and install an AC condenser, coil, and fabricated box…read morefor my 950 sq. ft. mobile home. After the installation I noticed the exterior disconnect was installed behind the condenser, the line set not supported from condenser to interior unit, drain line not present, floor penetration not properly sealed, no permit. I spoke with Joe and Jill and they explained they would send the technician out to correct the deficiencies. Jill squared away the permit. The technician came out to relocate the disconnect, install two support straps for the line set, sealed the floor penetration for the line set, and a surprise pvc drainage line installed for condensation. The city of Springfield, IL inspector came out and noticed the condenser was not level and the code required safety caps were not installed on the refrigerant connectors. Apparently, code required for theft purposes. Aire Serve was very responsive with scheduling the technician back for eliminating the code violations. My suggestion to Aire Serve is to educate/retrain technicians on industry codes. Three stars for a basic installation to take three trips for code compliance and for the technicians parting words "Try to have a good day."

I called about a repair on my furnace. We had a poor installation, and the inspector asked for…read moresome repairs. I was told by Air Serv that no one could pull a permit for an existing furnace, and that I would have to replace the entire furnace and air conditioner system. I told them that the inspector specifically asked me to have licensed HVAC guy pull a permit to have it repaired - it was mostly an issue of placement - and they tried, again, to sell me on a whole new system. They were polite about it, and if you want a whole new system, maybe they're great. But repair was not something they were interested in.

The pros: They got to my house on-time, did a job faster then I thought it will take. The carpet became visibly cleaner overall. I am writing the review without checking if it's dry, but I am certain it will be much faster than after using hot water cleaning services. And the price was good, thanks to the flyer. Now the cons: The guy came in (very) dirty shoes, with dried-up mud on the side, did not put the disposable booties on even after I asked him if he is aware that the shoes are dirty and just kept walking on wet carpet with (very) dirty street shoes. Even the overall it got cleaner, the stains from my dog are still visible. And finally, I did not get receipt from the guy. He mentioned that he is an Aerus(former Electrolux) sales rep and from the get-go tried to figure out if I am in the market for a vacuum or carpet cleaner. Maybe he makes more money from the sales and since I was not inclined to buy, he lost interest and did not bother to be a bit more professional, but I do not recommend their service to anyone. I am not sure yet how good the machines are, although I have my doubts about that, too since after shampooing the carpet the vacuuming was "recommended" upon drying. So if I do not comply, where does the dirt go? Didn't it stay right there, on the carpet, but now with dried shampoo for a company?
