I ignored this bogus bill thinking it must be an error, but they sent it two more times. Finally, I called and they gave me the unpleasant news the bill indeed was THREE TIMES the agreed upon amount. To my further dismay they were not only trying to collect this inflated amount from me, but they were also billing my tenant from the damaged location. I told the woman they could speak to the folks from Repair Masters who were also there when Ben said $250, she said she would get back to me the next day. I didn't hear anything for weeks until I found out via email I had been sent to collections for $750.00. I promptly called ServPro rather confused and frustrated, and they said it's completely out of their hands now. I then proceeded to call the collection agency to explain my quandary and they said they will have to talk to ServPro to lower the amount. So, it turns out they were lying again, in fact it was completely up to them whether they charged me the correct amount or the fraudulent amount. Almost 10 business days later they got back to me that $250.00 would get it settled, but they would rescind that offer if I didn't pay within 4 hours. Important to note, they never performed any work so there was no reason for an increased amount. Further, the bid I received wasn't even correct. Ben drew up a gabled roof with 2 dormers when in fact the damaged property was a hip roof with 3 dormers. I even offered to meet them out there to verify this. If we had not caught this mistake on our end it would have cost me thousands of dollars on the insurance claim.

He was very kind and did a great job of calming me down and convincing me that everything would be taken care of. He sent someone out to put tarps over the holes in the roof until the tree could be removed and the roof repaired. He somehow did this in the dark. Then Steve came again to check the tarps over the weekend since rain was predicted. Repair Masters dealt with my insurance company and that went very smoothly. The crew who came to work on the roof were here promptly at 7am and were very professional. They finished what seemed to be a big job in a day and a half and cleaned up when they finished. I was shocked when the contractor showed up that day and on time. This has never happened with contractors I've hired in the past! I asked him to replace anything he saw that was damaged. He ran into other problems and he took care of them. He was professional, had a great eye for detail, and his work was very neat and sturdy. I was told it would take 1-2 days when I was given the estimate. The job was completed in a day and a half. It looks great! It came in just a little over the estimate due to the extra materials needed to complete the job properly. I believe the price was fair. I am looking forward to hiring this company for more repairs and remodeling on my home in the future. We paid $10,000 for them to fix the pipe. Clogged again and flooded the basement with sewage that night. Called them back over again. They ran a longer camera. Found more crushed pipe. We were told they planned to do exploratory dig in the alley as to not tear up our yard and run the camera to make sure there wasnt more crushed pipe. At the same time they would replace the crushed pipe they found. $6,000 was what it cost for all that work. I get home from work and find out they dug up our back yard without permission and replaced pipe in the yard not the alley. This is where it becomes a nightmare. We are told they found more crushed pipe and believe that its crushed for the full 200 feet down the alley to main sewer. Even though its crushed they are going to water jet it out. When they water jet it blows all of the sewage back into my basement bathroom destroying everything and flooding the basement. Then they send over their tear out specialist who tries to get us to file a home owners claim as to avoid roto router taking responsibility for the damage. Our deductible was too high so we opted against the claim. After some negotiation with roto router they decide they will do the tear out for no charge. Dont worry they half assed that too. After they left I spent 4 more hours tearing out trim and cutting out wall chunks that were water damaged. We ended up paying another plumbing company $15,000 to come fix the problem. We have spent near $3,000 in materials to fix the ruined basement. Im fortunate to be able to do the work myself, but Ill have around 100 hours of work into putting the basement to how it was when we bought the house. In short, Id not ever let roto router in our house again, even if they offered to pay for entry and give us free plumbing repair for life.

Not these guys: Surratt has a Track Mounted Stump Cutter and a knuckle boom crane with a grapple saw: we're talking 100 feet of vertical reach, all remote controlled, enabling removal of trees and stumps in even the most challenging locations. Whenever he has that thing out, word gets out, and people from all over come by to see the remote control crane track in action, very cool!

Very pleased with his patience and attention to detail. He made sure to re-affix the outside dryer vent outtake thing, and put the lid back on the entrance to my crawl space. Hurrah!
