It sounded like a lawn mower. I called him back and was going to come back in a few days. I told him I was done. My brother who lives in another state and is not a repairman, was able to diagnose the issue, ordered a part, drove to Illinois and fixed my machine in about 30 minutes. The whole repair job was only $20. I have always dealt with Henry's in the past and been happy with their service. I am very disappointed with the service I received this time. Shockingly, the washing machine was repairable. With its age and the problem being electrical, I was aware it might not be. The owner was friendly and kind; I enjoyed our conversation. At the same time, I never felt like he wasted my time. I also didn't feel like he was trying to sell me on something, like many other places do.
