What a annoying place. It's a beautiful store very nice greeting at the door. But I went up to the fishing area to buy some gear and I wanted to buy a new reel and get new line put on also line on two of my old reels. So I waited quite awhile. I finally got some one to put the line on. And he tells me I have to buy the reel first !! I left the line was way to long. Why can't he just put the line on the reel and then they could just scan the package after I don't get it. what a waste of my time! read more

So I just called five minutes ago to Dicks in Cerritos asking for a life vest and a man told me that "they don't have it for my FAT ASS" Wednesday July 7 @ 8:35 PM. read more

They never have my shoe size... 10 or 10 1/2 I was trying to get some Nike alphafly... then I tried getting some brooks ghost 14 and they didn't have my size either. The moment you walk in here it smells like the factory in China. read more

Great selection of all the work out clothes and equipment you could need. They have their basic workout clothes and shoes, as well as sports team swag on the bottom floor, and their specific sports gear and apparel on the top floor. They also have a sizable camping equipment section, as well as coolers and umbrellas for a casual beach day. I would compare them to a better stocked sports authority. This location was busy but clean, offering a sanitizing station upon entry, and required masks. read more

Demoralizing!!! I would like to start off by saying Loved the wide product selection at Dick's. However my experience with Diana on December 1st at the checkout was absolutely the worst I've ever had. I was there to Christmas shop. Had a cart load of item/gifts. The first transaction totaled around $980 the second approx. $420. As Diana the cashier rang up the clothes. I kindly asked her to fold the clothes nicely instead of cramming them in the bag. I explained that I didn't want to give wrinkled gifts. Diana totally ignored me. She didn't care. She seemed bothered with the request. I told her I deserve better than that. I asked her if she cared. Diana reply no. She made me feel like crap.and was extremely disrespectful. She was unprofessional and certainly not a people person. She had no interest in pleasing the customer. I ask for her supervisor. She pointed to her. It was all so shocking. All along her boss stood there and witnessed Diana's terrible attitude and did nothing to come over and smooth or fix things. I was so tempted to cancel the entire transaction. But my time is very valuable. I believe it starts at the top. The lack of leadership was obvious. I refuse to go back. Dicks may be dedicated to high quality products but Dicks failed to deliver caring service. read more

Well no stores are open but they recently just re-open sporting good stores but we couldn't go inside so I was online shopping and I was actually looking at fitness equipment but I seen that dicks sporting good had the Nike biker shorts that I've been looking for for the longest. The biker shorts were sold out everywhere even on Nike crazy LOL so they had the black one that I wanted but they didn't have the blue one that I really want it online they had them at different stores but it was a little farther away from me but oh well I decided to do curbside pick up and I purchased it within 15 minutes my item was ready hopped in the car drive all the way to Cerritos parked in front let them know that I was outside brought my item to me very very very happy with how dicks sporting good is doing through this pandemic and definitely going back to them very soon hopefully when the store opens but I was very happy with my purchase. read more

Horrible experience during COVID by store manager Javier in Cerritos I purchased this online and my only option was curbside pick up at the Cerritos CA location. When I picked up my cart the person who brought my box to my car decided to jam it into my backseat and ripped my upholstery in my BMW and then continue to force the box into my backseat without any remorse that he just damaged my car. Afterwards I waited for an apology and instead he shrugged his shoulders and stated "WHAT?" When I asked him why he had to push it in that way he looked at me and said I'm human and said it slipped. It didn't slip it was the way he tried to jam it into my car without any thought of the damage he was doing. Afterwards I asked for his name and he in a rude tone said his name was Javier, the store manager! Are you kidding me? Your store manager treats customers this way? During this time? You should have employees who want to help working not store managers who are rude and have no respect for the customers property when they are putting items into cars. Afterwards I opened the box and found that they are overcharging for this bag during this time??? Are you kidding me? The bag has a tag that says 149.99 but they charged 179.99, that's horrible. Overall my experience with this bag and Dicks has been a nightmare. My order number 10313477823 and would like to speak to someone at dicks about this experience. Please contact me. read more

When into Dicks to purchase some golf clubs. Better be right handed because NO left handed clubs, sets nothing. And they call them self a sporting store. Gave my business to Rodger Dunn and will purchase ALL my tennis and golf clothing from someone else. read more

This review is for the awful service we received in the shoe department. The little 20 year old boys that work in that department were infantile spoiled children. Walking around like they didn't want to be there. We get it, selling shoes probably isn't what you envisioned when you almost dropped out of high school but here you are. A commission less job selling shoes in Cerritos. I blame the hiring manager. I stood there for 10 minutes waiting for any one of the morons to acknowledge me but the babies ignored me outside of Emily read more

I tried to order on website for curb side pickup in Cerritos, but transaction would not complete. Started over, and again just keeps going round and round. I wasted an entire afternoon and my brothers time so I can drive home empty handed. The name fits the store DICKS read more

Really? I've never been here when I have not had to wait a RIDICULOUS amount of time for help with shoes, cleats. Hire some more people for the shoe department. I just visited this location this afternoon and I'm typically not one to waste my time yelping but I have to say that your employee Maricela is an extremely rude woman. I was trying to ask a question when she quickly cut me off and repeated the order cost as if I didn't already hear her. Then, before we were even done with our purchase she calls the next person as we are still paying and then laughs. I don't know if this Hispanic woman is under the influence of something but her behavior was extremely questionable. The overall store is great and clean, but their choice in picking this employee is unfortunate. read more

Worked here back in 2017 for a year. I moved out because I was going to be attending school in Long Beach. Coming from San Diego, I had high expectations for this store. The reality is not many employees and management care. Gabriel in Footwear is amazing. Every time I showed up for work all my co-workers would go to the back and talk that's why you can't find associates in this place. Management in this store played mad favoritism. Next time you shop here you know why. Cashier ladies are cool. read more

I was hoping to be able to take advantage of a great 50% off sale going on and purchasing a kayak set for myself. After calling my nearest Dick's in West Covina and talking to an associate named Michael he said to check with Cerritos, but when my call was answered at the Cerritos location the individual refused to check their inventory saying " unfortunately right now we're not doing store checks " and hung up on me. Wish I got a name but all I can say is who ever answered the phone at 12:09 wasn't in the mood to make a couple clicks on a screen , thanks bud. read more

It never failed the customer service at this location is the worst. I doesn't matter if you are buying shoes are a simple basketball hoop for my lids door the staff is rude and unwilling to help. They also change the prices on items and then tell you that the tag was never marked down (we literally saw the employee run to the tag to change it as we returned to double check). Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else where they don't lie about the prices and are not so rude and unwilling to help. read more

Time and again, the people working in this store disappoint me. Impolite and lacking any concept of customer service, they are ineffective in their service, resulting in wasted time and just a plain old bad experience. I think I shopped in this store for the last time today. The Huntington Beach store has people with seemingly higher level of intelligence. read more

Placed an order on 8/17 label was created and shipping status remained the same for several days when I called they blamed FedEx saying that FedEx never picked the item. FedEx informed me that Dicks never set up a pick up time for the item. When I called Dick's again they said they would re-ship my item but now the item is no longer available! They failed to ship my item and now they sold out and all they had to say was sorry for the inconvenience! read more
