I would have given it a 5 for their salads, if only they would actually make and deliver what we order. Maybe it's better when you go in person. We've had them delivered countless times, and 8 out of 10 of those times they get something wrong. They send the wrong salad, leave off ingredients ordered and add ingredients not ordered (which are $1 a pop no matter what they are), send the wrong dressing, no dressing, or only one if we order an extra. Additionally, half the time the avocado is not ripe yet. It's hard and flavorless. Avocado is not supposed to be crunchy, people. Another time the whole thing tasted sour, as if one or more ingredients had been sitting around too long and was starting to turn. Couldn't eat it. They can't seem to actually read the orders. They need to either train people better or pay more to get more competent help. They have to be losing money given all the times we got credit because they screwed up our order. After getting fed up we hadn't ordered for about six months and broke down, missing our favorite salad and sure enough, they sent someone else's order and an unknown dressing. We're vegan, so we aren't going to just eat a random unmarked dressing. Dinner ruined again, $23. We are done with them. Maybe it's better if you go in person, but don't bother ordering through one of the delivery services. 2 in 10 chances of getting what you planned on eating. read more

First time trying - I ordered through ChowNow. At my pickup time, I arrived to see 2 employees not wearing masks properly. Noses were out and for one person mask was dropping to where mouth was also out. Fortunately for me they were running late, so I told them I wanted to cancel my order. They couldn't do this for me, but I was able to cancel through ChowNow. Disappointing as I've been looking for a good fresh salad place, and unlikely to give them another try. This is my first time ordering from DICED. I am on a very strict and specific diet and need a certain amount of protein each meal. I do not eat out much because of this. I gave this a chance through Door Dash. The protein for the salad was completely missing. I ordered double shrimp, not a single one. Lucky me, I need to figure out how to get a grilled chicken breast in the middle of a very busy work day. How do you miss that? I'm so disappointed. Just lazy. read more

My salad was refreshing and delicious. This place is an assembly line style health concisous 'bowls' spot. Everything can be made with a salad or rice base. Several varieties of each option. I ordered the harvest crunch salad and the total was $11. Portion side is decent even though it's a dollar or two more then similar non-healthy spots. Interior was fresh and bright. The location right next to trader Joe's is definitely a plus. No excuse to shop while hungry lol. I'd recommend if you are in the area and want an refreshing lunch. read more

I want to start by saying I love love LOVE Diced. Their wraps/salads are consistently delicious with amazing, fresh ingredients. However this location (Cary) has gotten my online order wrong almost every time for the past few months. Tonight they swapped the dressings on the wraps I ordered for me and my partner. Last time they didn't include the dressing for the salad I ordered (they actually do this quite often, which is odd considering they specifically ask on the order if you want the dressing tossed in or on the side - I now check the bag to be sure they include it). They tend to forget chips in the bag. One time they randomly left out the broccoli and chickpeas on my Harvest Crunch wrap. And half the time they forget to cut the wrap in half. I never said anything because I figured it would be the last time, and I wanted to be understanding. But it seems this may be a trend, especially after reading some other reviews. I am somewhat baffled why this keeps happening. I would think preparing an online order would be easier considering you're reading from a piece of paper and can double check yourself. Short of unwrapping my wrap in the store each time, I don't know how to prevent this from happening anymore. Maybe they prefer customers coming to the store instead of ordering online for a later pick up? By the way, the Raleigh location is amazing. I have never experienced this there. read more

Soft opening, big promises. Diced Gourmet could easily end up being one of my favorite places for lighter fare. Customers walk to the counter, choose from preselected salad or wrap combinations, or in a build-your-own way, choose the type of lettuce and up to 4 toppings (or more for an added price) from a couple of dozen different choices. You can stay at the counter and watch your salad or wrap as it's made, or take a seat inside or outside and wait for them to call you to pick it up. There's something for any taste preference for meat (or no meat), and cheese (even blue cheese). There are topping options to add crunch, and a choice of dressing from around a dozen or so different flavors. You select your ingredients, which are then placed into a bowl, and the bowl is moved down the line to the person who chops/dices everything into bite size pieces. On my first venture, I opted for a pre-selected wrap with tomato, corn, avocado, onion, black beans and tortilla strips. The tortilla strips worked to give the otherwise soft inside some texture. Next time I might try the chinese noodles or the walnuts. It was still good, though. I wasn't really thinking through the whole "southwest" sort of wrap because I chose a Thai ginger dressing for it. I think the onion in the wrap overpowered it; I couldn't taste the dressing at all. Still, I ate it and enjoyed it. Diced's Goal: accomplished. Although Diced Gourmet is still in the soft opening phase, I think I might like this place already. There's still a few kinks to work out, so I can't be too hard on them for the one ding I did notice. I'm sure they'll have it taken care of by the grand opening. read more

I usually order online and pick up to go and they always get it right but today I ordered at 11:55 and got an email confirmation saying it would be ready at 12:20 I got there at 12:20 and it was very busy due to lunch time and my order wasn't ready, no big deal. I waited about 10 min and then a girl brought out 3 bags and put them on the table and one of them was mine. I took it and went home. I always order the same salad, the hearty vegan. I was so disappointed and upset to see that they added mushrooms (I absolutely hate mushrooms) broccoli, cucumbers & chickpeas. NONE of these come with the hearty vegan salad and I didn't request any of these to be added. I honestly didn't have the patience or energy to drive back there and wait for another salad so I picked it apart and ate what I could but I felt so sick after and just disappointed bc I always look forward to my salad from Diced. read more

Delicious and nutritious! A little pricy, but worth it for an occasional meal. Their menu is posted in store and online, organized, and easy to read. It also lists nutrition information. You can design your own bowl or choose one of their recipes. I decided on their well balanced Harvest Crunch bowl with sautéed tofu and carrot ginger dressing. I was the only customer in the restaurant when I arrived, so an employee greeted me and took my order right away. He was friendly and double checked to make sure all the items that come with the bowl I selected was okay. He made the bowl quickly and then tossed it to evenly mix the ingredients. With the added tofu, the salad was $12.95. It was worth it since the salad was packed with fresh, crunchy ingredients. I especially enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and sautéed tofu. Came to this location when they first opened up and wasn't too impressed. 2 years later, they have definitely ironed out many of their kinks. Their model is basically the same as Chop't, and their prices pretty comparable (DICED may be a little cheaper). The ingredients were definitely fresh. None of their signature salads seemed too interesting besides the Southwest Crunch, but I didn't build my own since they price each item individually. It would be nice if the base price included some number of toppings, and anything beyond that was extra, because pricing each individual topping adds up. I am knocking off a star because both times I have been here, the service was very negative. Most recently, I came on a Sunday. The people working the counter were openly complaining about the "dumb lunch rush" (what do you expect?) and mocking the customer behind me who asked for something on the side. It was extremely awkward, and particularly frustrating because they didn't chop my salad enough. I had olives in my salad, and all of the olives remained whole due to the lack of chopping, so I wish she had asked if my salad was chopped enough instead of complaining with her coworker. For a gourmet, packed salad, the prices are comparable to what you'll find anywhere else. There are many options and you can make anything into a wrap. I also love that you can choose what lettuce you want and even mix and match. The staff were helpful and friendly, and I love the way they dice the salad so perfectly. After reading reviews after I ordered, I'm in agreement with some others saying that the salad dressing is lacking some flavor. I order the Shrimp and Grains. The components of the salad were fresh and tasty, and I chose the lemon pesto vinaigrette. And ng pesto I thought it would have a strong herb flavor, but the dressing was just tangy, and that's about it. I found myself adding some salt and pepper when I got home in order to bring some extra flavors out of the components of the salad because the dressing was lacking. Diced just opened this week next to Trader Joe's on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary and I've already eaten there twice! The atmosphere is clean and bright and you'll probably be greeted by the owner, Michelle behind the counter. She was a cheerleader for Louisville (their banner hangs with those of local teams) and it shows in her energy and enthusiasm. You can choose from every ingredient you can imagine for your chopped salad or wrap, including house grilled filet and Brookwood Farms brisket. Unlike similar concepts, everything is fresh and prepared in house. Even the dressings are all house made by Michelle's brother, John. So far, my favorite is the Avocado BLT salad with croutons and walnuts but I really want to try the Texas Hold 'Em with peaches and brisket. Yum! read more

After I gave this place a bad review a while ago I decided to give them another try. I was so pleased by the excellent customer service and everyone was wearing mask (that was my prior complaint).
