Went in and was attended right away. The ladies are very friendly and you can tell it's a fun and upbeat environment. The customers seem to like them too. They were joking around with the customers (all in good fun). Usually there's always this tension at some of the nail salons where you feel like they're talking bad about you but didn't get that vibe with them. It was easy to communicate with them too. I love the variety of nails these people have. I love that every time I go in there "Friends" is playing. I don't' like that 3 out of the 5 times I have requested a shoulder and neck massage (which I plan on PAYING for) I am told "we too busy" I also don't like how their pedicures are standard and you are not offered extended massages, calus removal, sea salt scrub like at other places. I came in for a fill and gel. My nails were done by the older lady with short hair and glasses. The selection for gel is not very great compared to other salons and were dirty along with the tools she used. I didn't really like the lady, she seemed like doing my nails bothered her and she kept complaining about her employees being lazy and dirty. When I selected a color she couldn't even find it and made me look with her for a color similar. Everytime I asked her for something specific like making my nail a certain shape she would have a look of disgust. By the end of the service I was so irritated with her and how my nails looked. Love this place. I have been coming here for years. I moved to LA and kept in coming back here to get my pedi and mani done. I am so happy to be back in town and have them close by. So I came in on Wednesday around 5 to get a gel fill and on Thursday the nail was lifting like it wasn't stuck to my natural nail and lifted up . It wasn't broken or painful so I came back Friday to see if then can fix it. I called in and made an appt before hand . I come in and they have me wait an hour after my appt. then they finally sit me down and ask me what happens and I said idk it just lifted up . And they said I hit something and broke it. I said they polish shows no sign of me hitting anything my natural nail is still intact if I wound of hit something my whole nail would of came off too. And then they put super glue under the acrylic to stick it to the bed of my natural nail and now my entire finger is super hard because the glue dropped to my skin. And they sent me away. Very upsetting I paid 30$ for a gel fill and this happens. Smh customer service is everything they were rude and I felt rushed after I patiently waited on them read more

I love the great service I receive every time at Diane Nails. The staff is very sweet and helpful, also the quality of the nails is great. My nails don't break off or chip like at other nail salons. Got my mom a gift certificate for $25 here towards a pedicure. She and I went, and over an $80 additional dollars later, we had both been cut at least five times on our toes, to the point of bleeding, and had two really bad pedicures. Their polish did not last more than 24 hours!!!! Peels right off like old nasty cheap 99 cent store stuff!! AMAZINGLY awful!!!! NO spa jets in the tubs for your feet, not even hot water, more like room temp. Old as heck chairs, equipment, and knowledge. It cost a fortune, and it all that pain and then really, it doesn't even last? That is just terrible. Something was wrong with it, like maybe it was decades old to the point it remained soft, and I don't think they even sealed it in with a base and top coat... it was the worst waste of money, ever. I honestly was hugely embarrased that I brought her there, when she had to fork over that much for so little and such bad work. We both discussed afterwards how terrible the service was, and even worse, how much they GOUGED us for it financially. It looked crappy, their water was cold, no jets, old chairs, friendly but who cares when you are cheating people on the prices, and wounding them and making them bleed during pedicures. Never ever ever again ever!! This place is awful, so bad that it's embarrassing to bring someone else there. DO NOT GO HERE. You can get a much cheaper and more professional job over in the Vons shopping center at the place near starbucks on Magnolia and Ontario. That one is only $25, no hidden fees, no trying to add stuff in on you, and they do NOT cut you, and their polish lasts OVER A MONTH for waaaay less money, their jets work and they have warm water too!! I have been going here a couple of years. Tina is good with eyebrown arching and facials. She has not done my nails. However, I have had two incidents which I don't feel were handled correctly, last time I went my thumb was filed down to the meat and Tina did not handle it correctly she became defensive and stated it was my fault because I took my own acrylic off, But the lady was using the electric file and she was not watching what she was doing. Also Tina'' reason was not valid because the finger I was speaking of had acrylic on it and I ended up with a part of the nail on my thumb missing, its been about 3 months and part of my nail is still missing. Also my toes nails are half missing she did take some responsibility for that but that was partly because I soaked my foot in sugar and lemon juice and the toe nail was soft so when they filed It, my entire nail almost came off. I really love the way she waxes my face though. The same day this happened she stated "its all about the money honey". Also, I went walking one day I walked five miles and wanted to use the restroom in her shop she told me you can use this time but mommy don't want you to this again. I took my mom in for a gel manicure and a pedicure. Walked in and we were not acknowledged at all. Finally I asked how long the wait was and neither of the two ladies responded until I asked again and one of them said 1/2 hour but then a other lady came out from out back and told my mom to pick a color and she would take her right away. I left to run errands and noticed two other customers walking in. I called my mom about 20 minutes later to see if they had already started with her pedicure and she said that the two women who walked in after we did needed their eyebrows done and were taken first before they started with my mom. I will never take my mom there again, and would never recommend this place, horrible service! read more
