Diana catered an event for us, for 105 people. The food was fabulous, and Diana's advice was excellent all along the way. Everybody raved about every mouthful. We had enough leftovers for volunteers to take some home. No one left hungry, that's for sure! Some people are reluctant to trust their caterer, but what's the point of hiring them if you don't take their advice? Since the pandemic, the restaurant is only open to the public on Thursdays, and we have gone there for brunch a few times; it's always wonderful. The menu is interesting and the coffee is delicious. Her takeout meals are great, and you can purchase food to go during the week. Also, if you need a cute hostess gift, stop in and see what she has to offer. read more

I used Dianna's to cater an upscale event at my house for 120 people. The food I did get was good. However, I did not get much food. Neither did many of my guests. Almost everyone got something, but not a lot. Several people, got nothing. Several people went up for more, but there was none left. As far as desserts there was supposed to be finger dessert trays to feed 120 people. I provided 104 macaroons on top of what Dianna was going to serve. I never saw a single dessert. People who didn't immediately go up for the dessert table found there was not a single thing left and were very disappointed. I just stood dumbfounded when the guests asked where was the desert and Dianna replied " they ate it all". She should have been modified. I was. I was told the leftovers, although there was not much, was in the fridge. My immediate family was hungry soon after the end of the party and was looking for the leftovers, as they were among the guests who got nothing. I had about 2 cups of pasta, some tins of salami and pepperoni and cubed cheese, and about 10 meatballs in the fridge. Not much else. I have never had an event at my house where we ran out of food. This was very disappointing and embarrassing. I didn't say anything to Dianna at the time because I wanted to confirm with other guests what their experience was. The only photos of food that I have is what was supposed to be the charcuterie/grazing table with hummus that was set out as an Appetizer. You can see what was set up compared to the photo I used to show Dianna what I was looking for, when we met just two weeks prior to my event. Personally, I would've put out her charcuterie display if I was having 30 people, not 120. I would say overall, the food was undershot by at least 30%. On the positive the staff was friendly, and they did clean up the kitchen. I couldn't tell if Dianna was embarrassed by the lack of food or if this is just the way it always is. This was not cheap. My guests should have had plenty to eat. I believe in always having more than enough food when I host an event. I never imagined I'd be in this situation and I could not recommend Dianna's catering. read more

This cafe has been a long standing joint for many years right on 309 and worth the turn around if you are on the opposite side of the street. Diana is on-site and working hard. They have their own line of coffee which they offer for sale as well. The desserts are awesome and can also be purchased to go. The hardest decision is to go for breakfast or lunch. The eggs Benedict is my go to because they do it right! The Turkey Ruben for lunch is the best I have ever had. There are always great specials to choose from. Waited more than half hour to be seated on our first visit, unusually busy for a Tuesday around 11:45am. Tried two blueberry pancakes with butter & maple syrup. Coffee was very good. Really terrible experiences every single time. Waits can be up to an hour, tables around us that were sat after us got their food first, the waitress gave our order to the wrong table and here we are waiting again for an hour and only have drinks. I am never pleased when I come here, especially when there are plenty of places with triple the amount of customers that can handle it. The food when it finally is delivered is always mediocre at best. Not only that, but the hostess had an attitude and the one big table they had there "made us a little busy today." I work in a restaurant and have worked all positions besides manager, so I do understand the business and this was still just embarrassing for them and their business. We picked up brunch curbside a few days ago. We ordered via the restaurant's website the night before (super easy, and very customizable) and scheduled it for the morning. Easy pickup, ready on time, and packaged beautifully. It was absolutely delicious and so well-presented. A lot of restaurants throw their takeaway meals into containers, but Diana's seemed to really take pride in presentation. I absolutely loved the avocado toast. Did not feel welcomed. My husband and I came here for breakfast. There was no one at the front and then Diana came out and looked at us like she was annoyed we were there, not even a good morning. While waiting for our tables I witnessed her being super rude to one of her workers as well. Awful. Once we sat down, the waitress was nice and professional. This is a small quaint restaurant, located on Rt 309. They offer breakfast and lunch only. The food and baked goods are made fresh on the premises. Food is delicious and service is great. My husband and I read good reviews and went here for breakfast. We ordered and waited....and WAITED. two cups of tea later our breakfast came. My blueberry pancakes were delicious, but my husband's eggs florentine was not. The eggs were hard cooked and the spinach was burnt. We ordered scrapple and it came late and burnt. My husband asked why the delay and was told the kitchen was busy with a catering order. They should have told us. Another patron waited for toast! For toast? There is NOTHING mundane about Diana's. I hummed through the whole meal! I haven't done that in years!! The coffee is the best I have ever had. NO bitterness! NONE!!! Most places we have been to eat are about the ambience. Some are about the Presentation. Others are about large portions, lousy food. Diana's made me feel valued. They did this by making me a fresh, unique, delicious meal that made my mouth sing!! Combining different, complimentary ingredients. Very new words, to an old tune. I relish the idea of returning.
