Love Turning Point! We came here for Easter Brunch with 10 people. They don't take reservations but do take call ahead seating. We called when we were on our way and we were seated immediately in the dining room. They dropped off water pitchers and coffee orders right away. The interior is very cozy and is exactly what you would think of when you think "cozy brunch spot". The food was delicious. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was satisfied. My wife and I both had the Avocado Smash Benny and we split the power grain pancakes. I had a French press of their house blend coffee. I forgot to take food pictures because it was so good. One of the best things I can say is their menu is very diverse and they accommodate allergy and dietary restrictions more than any other restaurant we have been too. My niece has a severe egg allergy and they serve Just Egg, which is perfect, and they don't charge an arm and a leg for it. We sat for maybe 20 minutes after the food was gone to finish our coffee. Yay! 2nd time - 45 minute wait list, so went somewhere else. 3rd time - seated quickly, but waited 15 minutes for a server for a drink order, then waited another 15 minutes for our food order, then 30-40 minutes for meals. Meals were tasty, came out at different times, breakfast items were much better than lunch items. Lovely atmosphere, but way too long for wait times, too hard with children, servers stressed. 4th time - cheerful hostess, lovely outside seating on a beautiful day, but 20 minutes went by and no server, had to go hunt for one, cheerful server finally came, but waited another 30 -40 minutes for meals and everything was luke warm, autumn bisque was so thick, not soup anymore, chicken on my panini was dry, not tender, sliding around on my huge plate, how about a bit of greens or an orange slice swirl. I love the location and atmosphere of Turning Point and the cheerful staff, maybe there's a need to hire more servers, food runners, prep and line cooks; but I'm sad, I can't keep coming back for really long waits and luke warm food. read more

Staff is very attentive. Food was delicious, as they breakfast foods, sandwiches, salads or soups. When the check comes, one can pay through a QR code, to make things easier. I was with people that deal with cash only and they had to wait for that to be done. Thankfully, I used the QR code method and it was done in a less than a minute. The glasses are on the smaller side, and once you fill it halfway with ice, it probably contained 6 oz of fluid. First I'll say. The foods good. The coffees are good. All the staff are very nice. However, the service is not good. First of all you can check the wait list online and it says 10 minutes,then you get there and it's 50 minutes. If you go in the winter people pile into the doorway keeping the door open so the whole place is freezing. They really need to control the front. People eating shouldn't be affected by people waiting. Once you do get a table , it takes a while for someone to come and greet you. They seem to have a problem with dishes and silverware. Each time we've gone we get water glasses that are hot from washing and they pour cold water into it. Ok we order coffee, again this happened each time , they bring it drop it off. No spoons. No silverware. We had to get up and ask another girl for spoons. Ok today apparently there was an entire family inside having a gender reveal party, for breakfast . They were in 4 separated tables so the whole time all you could hear was multiple people speaking Spanish from table to table. When they were cutting the cake and taking pictures the whole dining room was essentially closed. Multiple employees were just standing there because they couldn't get through. So I guess screw all the people waiting outside all the people waiting for food. Again there's no control whatsoever, this place doesn't have the space for parties, the speed of the kitchen is way too slow for a breakfast place with this kind of volume. So. Recently went to turning point at Sacoun valley. Waited 80 minutes for a table when told it would be 50. Understand they don't have control. When seated waited for ten minutes to be waited on. Asked for water with our drinks. Had to flag down the manager to get some water. Asked the waiter. What is your soup. Got. Vegetable something and something Tuscan something that has bacon. Asked specially for no pepper on my lunch. Came out loaded with peppers and no onions or avocado. My friend were finished with their meal until I received my corrected meal. Still no avocado. Ate it anyway. Hope they get better at reading orders and giving customers what they ask for. Been to turning point at wales. Much better. Oh. And not my business. My boyfriend and I went here for a brunch date and were very pleased! We thought It would be a nicer spot, but it's definitely more of a diner environment and there was a bit of a wait time.
