The spinach and foe was delicious. We also had the tomato and olive, which was my least favourite, but it was still okay. The service was really quick and barista was very kind. I stopped by while I was in the Richmond and ordered a 12oz rose latte which was $6.25 before tip, with regular milk. You can take one free sticker, they are all dog and cafe themed. I tried both the toasted marshmallow latte as well as two of their savory pastries (tomato & olive and leek & parmesan). The coffee is STRONG. If that's your preference, you're in good hands. I have a huge sweet tooth and this coffee missed the mark for sweetness. I do, however, love coffee so the strong taste didn't deter me too much. The pastries were AMAZING. The tomato and olive one was the better one, if I had to pick. Inside there are a few seating areas. I went at around 1pm on Thursday and there were 2 seats open. The people working there were super nice and were very patient with me as I decided which drink and foods to get. Restroom is available for customers, just ask the worker for the restroom key. The restroom is spacious and well maintained. Kona coconut- This is a sweet coffee but well balanced and refreshing from the coconut milk. The coconut on top adds a unique texture to each sip. Kona mocha- Be sure to mix this one well. The mocha flavor is rich and not too sweet. Spinach feta pastry- Ask for this warmed and you won't regret it! The puff pastry is light, airy, and buttery. The spinach filling with well seasoned and slightly creamy. This is a delicious pastry while not being too heavy. I actually really like that coconut milk is as an alternative milk option here because I find it's not as common in SF. Amen to the apricot cornetto! Once it's warmed, the gooey nature of the butter and apricot just melt in your mouth. Absolutely Delicious. But- I came for the coffee and didn't care for the flavor or ratio of milk so it ended up down the drain. Wouldn't return for a coffee but am tempted to try a tea with such a nice selection. I would have easily given 5 stars but there were improvement opportunities to the overall experience: 1) I came during a busier time, and several people ordered Dirty Coffee. When my drink was ready, the customers who ordered after me stepped up and grabbed it before I could. It would have been really helpful if the staff called out names or order numbers. 2) After that, I had to wait a bit to get someone's attention so I could get my drink remade. The good: This place is super cute and I love the cosy vibes it creates. The service has always been great and friendly even when they're short staffed. Also their matcha is amazing both in hot and cold forms and I genuinely hope they never get rid of the matcha tiramisu drink because it's a glorious treat. Additionally, their croissant variations have always been solid. I recommend their savory ones and take up their offer to heat it up! The not ideal: I do wish they had some sort of limitation on people being able to work in the coffee shop because it's become really difficult finding any table open to sit. People will be there for hours and it's a little frustrating for a fast causal spot that I always have to take it to go. The hope for improvement: This is where I really hope change occurs. My coffee is burnt almost every time I order it with almost no syrup flavor any time I order it. Like very bitter, acidic, burned. I've only asked a couple times to have it remade just because it was practically undrinkable. Why do I still go and order it? Cause I'm seeing family in town and have no coffee maker. For almost $7-$8 a cup including a non dairy milk, I don't understand how there's no consistency on ensuring this doesn't keep happening.
