A little bit impersonal, but not a mark against them. Once I found out the item that I wanted picked up was larger than their online form would allow for, I replied to the automated Yelp message. I wasn't expecting an answer but Irene reached out and helped me out from there. She asked me to reserve through the site, which I did, and made sure that a driver that had a large enough vehicle to pick up the item took the job. William made the drive from San Diego to Los Angeles with my item in tow, and was in constant communication. He was very kind and helpful, and definitely showed me that he cared. After some creative problem solving, we got the thing in my house with no damage to the item itself! That all of this was done for half the price that was quoted by competing services is crazy. It took me about 5 minutes to sign up for an account, and I immediately scheduled a delivery at 11:13 am. I realize that there are delays in deliveries due to Covid, and Gofer It!'s website makes that abundantly clear...but here's the crazy part: 8 minutes later I received a dispatch notification and 20 minutes after that the driver was knocking at my door to pick up the package! My package was safely delivered to its location in under 2 hours and they provided delivery notes as to who signed for the package and when.
