This one is in downtown and I suggest you rsvp a time and get a spot hero for parking. That's what I did to do what you need to do at DHL. I was helped quick and I forgot the girls name but she was Latina and she was super patience and helpful and got me thru what I needed. I had to mail two documents to Mexico and it was $48 dollars - yea it's crazy but that's the world we are living in. But it was important to have those documents in. The service was great and I'm glad I didn't park by the streets bc there's so many cars getting tickets. Spot hero is the way to go. read more

Ridiculously overrated even though they have very low stars. My package has been stuck in this hub since Thursday and they STILL didn't deliver it. Both the shipper and myself have tried to call. The guy I got a hold of said that the duties have been paid and they're not open on the weekends (I'm assuming this means Thursdays and Fridays as well???) and that my package should be sent today or tomorrow. NOT SENT TODAY! how much do you want a bet that I won't get my package tomorrow either??? DHL is a SCAM! I'm asking my shipper to go through FEDEX OR UPS OR EVEN REGULAR MAIL NEXT TIME. They should give me my money back since they are holding my package hostage. DO NOT USE DHL! Especially this facility! They will Lose your package!! I will KEEP adding the worst reviews I possibly can until I get my package. I have a lot of time on my hands DHL! read more

DHL Van Nuys, CA Station for the second or third time over the past year tried to deliver to my 9-5 business after 5. The DHL Station itself is only open from 9-5! A critical package, they attempt delivery on Thursday @ 6:30pm then tell me the earliest redelivery scheduled is Monday whenever the feel like it. This is the worst shipping company on the planet, you can't call anyone and they use AI chat assistants that are so fake it is sickening. I'm making a strict policy with all of my suppliers NO DHL in the future. read more

There is truly something going on with this DHL hub as packages are not being delivered at all. My package showed delivered to this hub last week April 24th and still hasn't been delivered to me yet (no signs of attempted delivery). I visited that location on Monday 4/29 for pickup and they couldn't find my package at their facility but it shows when tracking that my package was delivered on 4/24 I read some of these reviews and people are writing about the same issues that packages are not being delivered. This hub should be investigated asap. Poor business. 1 1/2 stars reviews is very concerning and these reviews go far back some years. Investigate DHL Frankin park. Seems like someone is stealing and seems like DHL corp hasn't done anything to fix this issue as this problem is happening a lot. read more

I swear if I order something again and it says delivery with DHL I'll cancel it. One of the worse I've ever encountered. The driver rang my doorbell then ran back to his vehicle by the time as I came down within 3 mins, he left a sticker on my door saying that we missed you. How are you gonna Miss me when you didn't even give me time to get too the door? That is how people packages go missing. Then I called and the audacity of Camila to say what is she suppose to do? read more

So my experience is the same as everyone else's. They failed to deliver my package on 10/10 for no apparent reason many more calls later claimed to have delivered the package on 10/11 by leaving it at my door while I was actually in the doorway on the phone with customer service about why I haven't received my delivery at 8PM on a Friday. Basically they have driver or pool of drivers who falsely claim to deliver packages only to never get a real signature and more than likely steal the contents of the packages. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a larger fraud/deceptive ring operating out of this particular location. There is no accountability. There are no loss prevention measures in place that are working or being enforced. The States Attorney General's Office will be notified. Hopefully DHL Franklin Park is thoroughly investigated and have their entire operation suspended. I hope all that have been involved in this deceptive and fraudulent activity be fired and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Lastly, I hope merchants began to cut ties this this company as they cause unnecessary financial losses for merchants, consumers, and insurance companies. read more

There's something seriously wrong with DHL Courier Service, I was supposed to receive an international package three days ago it's still not delivered sending me text messages and emails saying I wasn't home! When it's not true they never came to my place. I live in a building and checked with my front desk and mail room staff they said DHL didn't come that day nor the next day. And when finally, I got hold of a live person to talk to at DHL customer they said something went wrong and delivery was not made even at the pick up point which I had to choose for re delivery since it wasn't delivered at my home the first time. They need to work on it really hard to get it fixed we're paying for valuable stuff plus shipping costs not for all this drama!!! Their online customer service is no good nobody likes talking to a machine which takes you no where and keeps repeating same options over and over again! Frustrating!!! read more

I've never had a good experience with DHL. They NEVER leave my packages the first time and say I'm not home. When I am. I'm pretty sure they just don't attempt delivery because I can see the main door and street from my living room. I was told by customer service they would return and deliver it because they were supposed to leave the package but chose not to. Then they never came.. so I contacted customer service again. First off, the guy was rude. Secondly, he said they never came because the service point denied the request for redelivery.. when the first customer service person said they were coming. I cannot grasp how bad DHL is. I never use them if I can help it but sometimes companies only offer DHL. FedEx and UPS are better. Never use DHL. I don't understand how a delivery service won't deliver packages. read more

Their drivers or someone there is stealing packages and there are no internal controls to catch the fraud. Due to covid, my vendor in canada only has dhl to ship to usa. Fedex and ups both have longer times for delivery and cost more. This is the location per tracking where items go magically missing. They claim to deliver it, but my apt building has 24 hour service personnel. I've called the dhl research dept every few days for weeks, to get updates, ie what new excuses and lies they will provide. First they said the pkg is not lost, everything is just delayed. This is 1.5 weeks after expected receipt date. Then the pkg was suddenly "delivered". I called and said i didnt get anything, they stalled and needed time to "investigate". Next time i called, they said it was misdelivered to the wrong address. Of course, i have to call back because they never actually "we will call you with an update tomorrow". Then their story became "actually it wasnt misdelivered." The latest i got was "i will escalate to mgmt team. Please provide your email". And now im full of regret that i provided my email to fraudulent people. read more

DHL is the worst. I shop frequently from GOAT.com And they use DHL it appears when you select fastest to you, but trust me you never get your package as scheduled or at all. UPDATE: it is now December 18th, they texted me that it was delivered, however it was delivered on the 14th, while it was the 18th!!!! To the wrong address one town over!!!!!!!! I have been at home all week...no sign of delivery. I am so disheartened, I will never ever use DHL...and will let everyone know what a bunch of unprofessional, unskilled, lying people that you are. Fix this or else this review stays. This is ridiculous. Just give people their packages!! I am also a victim to constant wonder as to where my package is!!! It should've been here on the 13th, and has been held in this facility like a hostage since the 8th!!!!! My package was able to travel across the world within a few days no issues! Meanwhile the Franklin Park DHL can't seem to travel a few miles to give me my stuff! People spend a lot of money in order to receive these items, important life changing files go through this company, perishable items needing specific temperatures GO through this service...and we all have to just sit idling by, as they keep giving us very vague answers and automated messages as to what is going on. They also won't let us pick up the packages because that would look bad on their part!! Considering they aren't doing their jobs based off all these reviews that are sick of this! My updated delivery is for the 18th of December. If it's doesn't show there is some issues with this company they aren't telling us about. The BBB needs to be informed of this immediately. I am not one to come on the internet to express dissatisfaction, and I've waited patiently. But this is type of service we are getting!! It deserves negative 5 stars!!! read more

I made myself wait a week before leaving this review to be a little more even tempered. I ordered 8 small fans in individual boxes that came packaged in a medium size shipping box via DHL Express. Tracking was sub par, even compared to the post office, let alone FedEx or UPS. It arrived at the Franklin Park hub, 130 miles from me, and promptly went out the next day for local delivery..........in Franklin Park. Two more days in limbo & it arrived at my address, dropped at the gate in the dark at 8:30pm. The box looked like it had been used as a wrestling dummy, soccer ball, maybe a punching bag, or kung fu practice? I've never received a box so beaten up, so softened up & rounded off at every edge, including a big hole punched in one side. Every single one of the 8 fan boxes inside had crushed edges & sides. 6 of the 8 fans were damaged. I spoke to the shipper & suggested we register a shipping damage claim. Their response............ DHL NEVER PAYS!!!! They generously offered replacement fans & said they were finally finished with DHL. Personally, I will NEVER order anything again if it has to ship via DHL, they really are the WORST SHIPPING OPTION. A one star rating for their service is a gift. Mark read more

If I could leave 0 stars I definitely would. Buckle up. I am about to take you on the DHL dumbass express... I have been playing around with these fools at DHL for three days and for what?? I was told my package would be delivered by the end of the day and when I came home and it was not there I inquired why. I was told that my address "could not be found" however fedex AND UPS made deliveries on that same day. I also have had DHL shipments arrive at my home without this many issues. I called DHL the next day after waiting all morning and afternoon and my tracking updates saying the package was "on the truck and out for delivery" at 8am. 2pm rolls around and when I call the facility in Franklin Park, IL and the manager, Zane, assured me it would be delivered today. Guess what? My fiancé was home at 7pm and still NOTHING. I even left a goddamn note on the door like I usually do for our low IQ friends at DHL saying LEAVE MY PACKAGE with the tracking info and signed by me!!! I was then told the package was at the facility so after driving 40 miles to the God-forsaken shit hole, THESE JOKERS TELL ME THAT IT IS A NEW DRIVER SUBBING FOR SOMEONE ELSE AND THE PACKAGE IS ON HER TRUCK IN ELGIN. All I kept saying to myself is "how can a business operate with such amazing mistakes and issues???" They then told me they would attempt to deliver the package to my workplace in Arlington Heights (?) and did not offer me any further explanation. Lord have mercy this is a shitshow!!! If you have any sense or option WHATSOEVER go through another mail carrier. I will continue to speak out against the horrendous customer service and insane amount of mistakes made by this company. read more

I had made an online purchase and DHL was the company delivering the package, I was told Wednesday Nov 14th between 8am and 8 pm was the window.i run a small business and was at the front desk all day on the 14th, the driver sent a text claiming that he made a delivery attempt at 5:15 which was not true. I'm in a small plaza that overlooks the whole parking lot and know for a fact that he was never here so I had to reschedule for the next day some time between 8am and 8pm and I called customer service to ask what was going on with the driver and they seemed friendly enough, but the next day it was almost 8 and they haven't made the drop yet so we called the driver who seemed very frustrated with the call and told me he wasn't going to be able to make it so we closed up as usual. I called customer service again and asked what the hold up was and was told the driver made another delivery attempt that night after I closed, he most certainly did not! so I told them to turn the package around and send it back that I would look for a supplier that went through UPS or FedEx to which they asked if I was refusing the delivery. How can I refuse a package that they haven't delivered? So they blamed ME for the error because I didn't tell them that I was a business, that they thought it was a residential delivery. if the driver had showed up the past 2 days as he claimed at a commercial plaza with insurance companies etc. in it he would have known it was commercial and not residential and should have corrected it there but did not. If you can avoid doing business with DHL then don't, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! this is not an American owned business and their hired help seems very poorly trained. read more

My package has been at the DHL facility in Franklin, Illinois for over a week now! Their excuse is that it's going through Customs inspection. How long does that take. Let me start by saying, if a vendor uses DHL for its shipping service, I will not support that vendor. I will take my business elsewhere . My delivery goes from, "Shipment on hold", to "Out with courier for delivery", to "Delivery could not be made immediately. It will be given to another courier on the next delivery cycle". Rinse and repeat. You have one job. Deliver packages on time. Why is it impossible for you to manage this? The bottom line is, by all means, avoid using DHL. They just do not care. read more

My product was delivered as expected. However, it was very clear that the Box had been opened and only one very small piece of tape was holding the flaps together. The bottom line is that somebody has opened its package and I suppose they found something they didn't think was very valuable. Not impressed! read more

I was initially worried for my packages, given the reputation that this particular location seems to hold. Other reviews speak of rude employees, mishandled boxes, and even stolen shipments. Fortunately, my packages were delivered on the expected date, with the only clear tampering being due to customs. The delivery driver had a bit of GPS trouble, but that's not uncommon within my small town. I hope, for the sake of any other DHL customers that have no choice but to pick this location, that the employees I've heard horror stories about are long gone, and that an experience like mine is now standard. read more

Unbelievable. I have never experienced such horrible service from an "express" carrier. I shipped something from London express last week. It only took 2 days to arrive in the country. I noticed my shipment was on hold, so I immediately paid the customs charge. According to the notification, I would receive the shipment on the next business day after payment of the customs charge. The next business day comes and goes and so I call the next evening. I'm told that my payment did not reflect on their system (whatever that means), and was told they emailed the service center to inform them about the payment. Another day goes by - no package. I call on Monday - told that my package will be delivered the next business day. The rep actually promised it will be delivered. What do you think happened? Did not arrive. I call Tuesday. At this point, I lose my calm demeanor and demand to speak to the supervisor. She informs me that "unfailingly my package would be delivered on Wednesday." She gives me her contact informatioin so I was actually inclined to believe her. On Wednesday, I actually see that there was some movement on the package and that it was with the delivery courier. But guess what? It wasn't delivered. It's almost a joke at this point. I call on Thursday, A FULL WEEK AFTER THE PACKAGE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED, and I speak to the supervisor. She tells me that they are investigating what is going on at the Franklin center. My package has now received "special attention" As I am writing this, my package is still missing. I cannot believe this is how DHL operates in 2015. How can you not know WHY a package has not been delivered for a week? How can you not know when a customs payment has been made? How can you fail to fully comprehend how utterly horrible your service is? I NEVER use DHL, and it's just unfortunate that my package was shipped directly from a store using DHL. Please, please save your money, time and headache and use either FEDEX or UPS. This long review was actually very cathartic for me. read more

Van #638910 (step-van, white with red DHL logo and Franklin Park designation) was at the intersection of Higgins Road and Mannheim Road at about 5:10 pm on Friday, November 20th. The driver disagreed with the pace of traffic and made that known by pulling the air horn for an extended period of time, laying on the steering wheel horn, and shouting with the driver's side window open. The vehicle was eastbound in the left lane of traffic about 10 cars from the intersection when I became aware of the spectacle. I was in the right lane about one car-length ahead of him. When I got to the intersection, I was the lead vehicle at the light and I realized that the driver was immediately behind me. When the light changed to green, I didn't accelerate quickly enough for him and he repeated the double horn activity. Completing the turn onto southbound Mannheim, I was in the left lane and the driver was in the right lane. He was still engaging one of the horns as he leaned out the open window screaming profanities at me. I reached the speed limit as he accelerated past me, obviously speeding. Our vehicles came abreast of each other again due to the flow of traffic and the driver flicked a lit cigarette at my vehicle. He then accelerated, again exceeding the speed limit, past me as I pulled into the left turn lane at Lawrence. I could still see the truck weaving between vehicles in the three available lanes as i waited to make my turn. read more

I have a package currently "out for delivery". It was supposed to be delivered yesterday. At 9:15 last night I spoke to a rep who advised me I absolutely would get my package, and that the courier has until 11:59 pm to deliver. The package did not arrive. This morning I was advised the courier returned at 9pm and advised them that his load was to heavy and he could not finish deliveries. My next "delivery attempt" will be Monday. "Delivery Attempt" implies that the courier came to my house and I was unable to sign for and receive my package. However the reality is the courier just didn't even try. I have been told "delivery dates are not guaranteed, only estimates". So the tracking that says "delivery by the end of day" is only an estimate and they don't have to live into that. Additionally, when I call in the automated update says my package will be delivered today, as does the website. Neither of those have updated to reflect I now have to wait to Monday to see if the courier actually decides to deliver, or if the post Black Friday package load is "too heavy" again. So really, despite having tracking I have absolutely no idea when my package actually will be delivered. I absolutely would not recommend DHL and will avoid them at all costs in the future. read more
