It's been 10 days now and I waited that amount of time for two reasons, first I had to calm down so I could write a fair review and second I had to find the right person to fix my windshield. Yes that's right fix my windshield after I left my car in the care of Fernando Oyola. I went to this struggling business on the advice of a co-worker I clearly see now that we don't value the same things the main thing being good customer care.I took my challenger to this shop and I should of knew off the bat that this wasn't going to be a pleasant experience the whole area is rundown it somewhat reminds me of a Mad Max movie. So I needed paint correct and I got quoted and agreed to the work mind you nothing is wrong with my car when I dropped it off however when I go to pick my car up boom as soon as I sit down I see a 2 foot Crack across my windshield I immediately go get Fernando and the very first thing he said was he didn't do it. Right then I knew that I was in for a ride. Now what he didn't know is that my car records front and rear footage every time it's turned on which brings me to my point the footage clearly shows that when I dropped my car off there wasn't a Crack in the windshield but now there is. I brought this to Fernando's attention and he reluctantly agreed to handle the repairs which I have in text. Screenshot's provided. The final straw for me was when Fernando contacted me the next day and told me that he wasn't going to fix my windshield now because the sun Cracked my windshield and mind you he left my car outside for two days it's crazy how he switched up and I know that his business is definitely struggling but I also can definitely see why so after the smokes clears I've spent $300 for a new windshield and another $100 for tint that's on top of his price for the correct paint work which if I'm being totally honest was half ass done just a total mistake going to DG auto beware there word is as sturdy as house built on sand. read more

Its very difficult finding a trustworthy mechanic and one that's not trying to rip their customers off with astronomical prices. If those are the qualities you want from a mechanic, then I highly advise you to bring your vehicle here. I searched around for a local auto repair facility that could perform a MD State Inspection and fix a few things that were needed to pass the inspection. I saw that this shop had high reviews. I called ahead and the gentleman over the phone was very pleasant with answering all of my questions. When I finally got to the shop, I immediately noticed how clean and neat the work area was. I thought I was gonna have to fork over a few hundred bucks to replace my side view mirror, but a big weight was instantly lifted off my shoulders when I was quoted just under $100 for the repair. We all had that anxiety feeling at the mechanic on whether the issue with our vehicle was affordable or expensive. Received my car a few days ago from Fernando. Everything with Fernando had been good up to this point. Apparently while working on the car, he noticed my coolant reservoir cap was broken so he took it off. After everything was "finished", he gave me my key back but neglected to tell me that he never replaced the cap. A few days later I'm on my way home and notice my car overheating. I pull over, let the car cool down for a half hour, try to get home but the car overheated in less than a minute. I pull over again and after letting the engine cool off, I open the hood and I see my overflow hose going straight into my coolant reservoir where the cap should have been. It was unprofessional and unsafe for me to drive as he told me he that he topped my coolant off, giving me no reason to suspect a temperature problem for awhile. Now I have no idea if the engine took damage from the overheating. To add insult to injury, I called him letting him know what happened right after this all occurred, I told him that I was confused about why this happened (the cap missing) and how it was unsafe, all he could tell me was that it was just for excess coolant and that it wasn't the "main issue". He even told me he understood why I was confused because "I don't understand this stuff". Regardless if this was the issue of my car overheating (which it was), it was still unprofessional for him to try and lie to not take responsibility for an amateur mistake as all he could do to me stating what he had done was to say "ok" or be silent. " Driving your car without a cap on the coolant reservoir would allow the coolant in the tank to evaporate quickly. If you experience it a bunch of times, it can make your car run low on coolant, and if the situation is not tackled as soon as possible, it could lead to overheating. The coolant reservoir cap is designed to ensure that the coolant's boiling is less through the pressure it exerts on the system. Therefore, if the coolant reservoir cap is missing, there will be an absence of pressure that prevents the coolant from boiling to the point of overflowing outside the tank. I was looking for a reputable mechanic - especially one who specializes in Lexus. Fernando was the one that came highly recommended. He was very nice and personable. He offered the WiFi, there was a nice clean bathroom, and there was a spare iPhone charging cable to use. Took a look under the car, told me the good and bad (though nothing was really that bad), gave me options and recommendation with no pressure at all, gave me his honest opinion and advice.... and then did my brakes and some other things. The shop is kind of hard to find- go almost all the way down Rickenbacker, and make a right when you see the D&G sign. What a life saver....I just had a brake issue that came on suddenly with my 2015 Nissan Altima that turned out to be a bigger issue and Mr. Oyola was able to make the repairs at the last minute. Price was fair and service was excellent, including consistent communication during the day. He also explained some issues that the car will be needing to address within a suggested a time frame, yet there was no pressure. Prior to this repair, he helped me with the maintenance of my 2001 Toyota Camry and the issues that came up: timing belt, brakes, catalytic converter. Again, excellent service. read more
