I went to try this place, because I am a Ube lover! They had a cronut filled with ube and I was excited to try it. They were busy when I got there, but I ended up purchasing a ube cronut, ham and cheese croissant sandwich, maple long John, and an old fashioned donut. Overall the taro was a little bit more bland, but the buttery taste was there. The place itself was nice and had good lighting. I like DF Donuts. I normally reach for more of their classic flavors when I go get doughnuts here, but one of my favorite more unique ones is one that has either an ube or Taro cream inside it. It's so good because it's sweet, but not sickly sweet. They also give doughnut holes with whatever you order which is a nice little treat. I normally get boring, basic lattes here and not the more fun ones, but they are smooth and creamy and you can still taste the espresso which is what I prefer. read more

At first glance I assumed they would be hard and stale, but after biting into it, it turned out to be very flaky, had a nice crispiness while still being soft like a donut. VERY DELICIOUS. I got a mascarpone cronut, the whipped cream was nice and fluffy and it had a decent amount of fresh strawberries inside. Only thing I would want to be improved is to have a stronger cream cheese flavor as it was too light in my opinion. They even threw in some free donut holes for us. We'll be returning! read more

I had a drop off of a patient going to Zeiter across the street. I found DF Donuts on Yelp. I'm sure glad I did! When you walk in, the two people who work there are so friendly. I appreciate the greeting. I decided to try their breakfast bagel sandwich today which included an asiago bagel with cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon. It was warm and fresh. I also ordered the croissant donut (wow!) and cinnamon roll. So fresh! They included free donut holes and a plain cake donut for my dog. Awesome! I'll be back. Vietnamese coffee served here. I ordered a few donuts and an iced white Mocha with Carmel Drizzle and boba. My favorite donut was the salted Carmel cronut. we picked up a too good too go order + andy picked some up after the gym today. i tried out too good to go for the first time and reserved donuts from df to bring them to the hospital today (im giving birth!) and didn't tell andy i had placed an order. i mentioned this morning that donuts sounded good and he had showed up with donuts and i couldn't cancel my order so we have tons of donuts lol. i'm not complaining though because they're so yummy! they have the staples and then have unique flavors they periodically change out. today they had a mango cronut. they always give extra donuts with orders too so we love them. for the too good to go order, the first slide pictured, we got all those donuts for only $9.99! it was so heavy and filled to the brim with donuts. definitely worth the price whether you're getting them from too good to go or just going in and buying them normally. the donuts are always made fresh daily and delicious. read more

First off, what an inviting-looking donut shop! Minimalistic, brightly-lit space with donuts being neatly displayed. All of the donuts looked uniform shape-wise and decoration-wise. I kinda wished that there was more donut variety though; I was pacing back and forth viewing the whole donut display case and the gentleman at the counter was a little surprised that I ended up getting only 3 donuts lol (and a bonus donut hole). There were unicorn donuts available, if you were wondering; looks like that type of special donut is a staple here judging by other posted photos. It was pretty much the only type of special donut there at the time besides the whipped cream strawberry donut bar, which I ended up getting. Hmm, the donuts that I got could've been more soft and fluffy. The cream in the cream-filled donut didn't have much flavor to it when I expected at least the slightest taste of vanilla. The whipped cream strawberry donut bar though.....I recommend! Yeah, the donut base did have the same issues as the other donuts that I tried, but the light whipped cream and the perfectly ripe strawberries made up for it. It was a nice touch having the donut base not being glazed and instead slightly covered in powdered sugar. Made it not overly sweet. The whole thing was like a single-serving strawberry shortcake. Great spring/summer treat! The lady who was also there seemed like she was the donut-meister as she was overseeing the gentleman at the counter and was helping him ring up the donuts at the cashier. She seemed really sweet based on how politely she asked me if I wanted any drinks with the donuts. Overall I recommend stopping by. Get the whipped cream strawberry donut bar if you see it, and hey, there may be another special donut type present at the time that you visit that also ends up being a gem! read more

We stopped here around 1 in the afternoon because I was craving a cronut and this location is close to my FIL's house so I wanted to check it out. The only one they had was coffee flavored :( I still grabbed it but it just tasted like a coffee cream filled donut. We also got the "eclair" looking donut with fresh strawberry on top but found out after that the filling is mascarpone and I don't care for that. We also grabbed a few plain ones (glazed, chocolate covered, etc) for the FIL and they got my hubby with "don't you want to try taro?" :) so we grabbed that one too. The employee was super nice and friendly and they also tossed in some donut holes for free, so A+ for their customer service. I also ordered a milk tea with no boba but almost choked when I got a mouth full of boba on the first drink. I was already back at the car at that point but if I had noticed inside I would have said something. The food and drinks were prosaic and nondescript and I didn't see any of the adorable creations shown in the photos but maybe those are all sold out by lunch. read more

To say we like their donuts would be an understatement since I've gone there 3 days in a row! Friday goodie for my sister from another mother, Saturday for an 8am t-ball game goodie for the team and Sunday am for a birthday sleepover. DF was my convenient one and done for all three occasions. Their fresh strawberry donut with what tastes like freshly made unsweetened whipped cream is a perfect pairing to the sweet donut. I've tried the croinut but they're on the dry side, good with coffee but not so good on their one. Their bacon, egg & cheese croissant is huge and can easily feed 2, especially if you tack on the obligatory donut! You can also claim it's a quick breakfast with a maple bar with bacon! Bacon is thick quality bacon. They have novelty donuts such as unicorn decorated donuts, cereal and maple bacon bars but our faves are the classic old fashion, bars and twists. read more

Went here earlier in the week to pick up some donuts for my coworkers birthday & was so excited!! Been wanting to visit DF Donuts ever since they first opened. Saw a lot of great pictures and reviews so I was definitely interested to see more about it. This is the first location I've been to for this donut shop, I'm guessing it might be family owned or a new business. So this was also something that inspired me to try it out because you see so many Krispy Kremes or Dunkin Donuts but this looked truly unique. So on my way to work I went to stop by to pick up my coworkers gift and super happy to see they were open early. This donut shop opens around 6:30 I belive and closes around 3:30 pm. I loved their seating arrangements when I first walked in and the rows of colorful donuts you see when you walk to the front. They have such a different variety of donuts I've never seen. They have your classic sprinkles donuts, donut holes, then they have cartoon art donuts like unicorn donuts, cereal and candy inspired donuts, then the gournment and fruit donuts. I got my coworker a bit of everything. I got her the classic sprinkles and glazed donuts. Then something called the cronut with strawberries, a whipcream or frosting of some sort and the donut. Also a donut with pink frosting covered with fruit. Everything looked so delicious, fresh, and crafted delicately. The price wasnt bad for the amount of work put into the donuts either. $1 for reg donuts and $5 for the more fancy cronuts. When i got to work alll my coworkers were so impressed. And even my coworker who had the bday wanted to know which donut shop I went to. She's a big fan for sweets & absolutely loved this shop. I'll definitely be back. I went into DF Donuts earlier today, about 10 minutes before they were suppose to close, and let me just say, from the Service, the Quality and Ambience... EVERYTHING exceeded expectations! The store was spotless clean when I entered, no funny smell or garbage laying around. And The lady at the counter who helped me, "N", was fantastic! She was super friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. And as for the donuts itself.. the BEST IN TOWN! They have a ton of great options to choose from and I ended up getting a ton of different types... all of them were absolutely DELICIOUS!
