Place Description: There is plenty of space for you to work on your personal projects such as work, school, business. The decoration gives a sense of being home. There are different setting within the coffee place such as small couches for you to have a nice private conversation. There is a couch by a window in case you feel like grabbing coffee and bringing a book with you. There is a patio area in which you can enjoy the sun, fresh air, and delicious food. This place is such a vibe! To be completely honest I've only come here once, but definitely want to come back once I get the time. I met here with coworkers and didn't realize we had such a cool coffee shop here in Stockton. The interior is decorated nicely and there are tons of tables and seating available for groups to chat or work. The morning I went, there was a long line to get to coffee, but it did move relatively quickly. The coffee was good & so was the baked good I got. Service at the counter was good as well. A friend took me to a cute little place I've never been before. It was a mellow spot, perfect for getting fresh air, doing work, and enjoying good food and coffee. I ordered avocado toast, which tasted even better than it looks in this picture I promise , it was so flavorful! My friend loved her sandwich, too. I had a white mocha coffee, and as we were leaving, she wanted some chocolate chip cookies. I was too full, but she insisted I try one. The worker, Joy, said they were amazing, and there was none like them. I ended up getting one, and I got home and finally decided to try it. I love The Well! This local spot is such a great part of the community. They host a variety of events and classes and offer spaces you can rent. My future mother-in-law meets her knitting group here and I recently attended a pottery class--it was a lot of fun! I'm excited to see how my cup turns out. They also make delicious food and coffee. Whenever we visit, we have to get their fries--they're amazing. I'll either choose a dish that comes with fries or just order a basket of them. read more

This place continues to play with my feelings.... They are inconsistent in coffee and customer service, the food is the only thing that is consistently good when we go. There is one employee in particular (I didn't get her name) that is always so rude and unwelcoming, but then her peers make up for her bad attitude. The lattes are always over sweetened, the cold brew gets far more bitter with more bean residue at the bottom and the nitro just isn't as good anymore. I am very disappointed as I do continue to love the location itself and food. We have been fairly loyal to this business until now. Hopefully this review is seen as something for improvement rather than me not wanting this business to do well, so please!!! Well!!! Fix these concerns. read more

What can I say? Rustic, charming, and inviting! Located within the downtown Stockton area, The Well was a comforting stop for a coffee on my road trip up to the Pacific Northwest from Southern California! I particularly LOVED how the interior was designed to look old school and retained that older Spanish style charm! They have plenty of seating, a rentable venue, and a co-working space you can rent out for the day which was neat. The baristas were solid folks and I greatly appreciated how they kindly brought out the drinks to our table. You've gotta have even the slightest bit of admiration for awesome service after a tiring day. My latte was made just perfectly. Great quality coffee with some sweet latte art to add on! The Well is Soooooo cute! It has been so cold lately, I walked in and it was nice and toasty. The inside was way bigger than I expected. I was greeted when I walked in, which was nice it's usually pretty busy in coffee shops but the welcome was not lost here. I didn't know this spot existed until I was invited for a meet up. It's located off of Center Street and you may miss it if you don't pay attention. It's a big white building with a gated entrance for parking. You enter through the back from the parking lot. They offer scones, pastries, cookies, breakfast and lunch items. I ordered a large caramel macchiato with almond milk. It was a bit soft, meaning I couldn't taste the espresso. It wasn't anything special. The cookie was ok. Prefer it warm. It's pretty big inside. It reminds me of like an old mission that was converted to a sitting space with a coffee shop. There's a lot of seating areas with tabkes and a lounge area with a sofa for meeting up, doing work or just hanging out. I also noticed there's a room you can rent for a meeting space too. The only change I would make next time is getting it without the lemon pepper, it overpowered the melt imo. First off, Walter is the GOAT! He met me with an attentive and warm greeting. I am new to the area and I have been here 3x but I am still getting used to the menu. However, today I wanted to create something of my own and decided to ask if I can "do this or do that" not only was he knowledgeable he was encouraging of my order! Met a friend for coffee on a Saturday morning. When we got there the line was out of the door so we sat outside and waited for things to calm down before placing our order. It's huge inside, lots of table space, chairs, plugs available to charge your computer/electronics, a long area, and rooms you can reserve for meetings (I'm not sure on the fee for it).
