I love The Well! This local spot is such a great part of the community. They host a variety of events and classes and offer spaces you can rent. My future mother-in-law meets her knitting group here and I recently attended a pottery class--it was a lot of fun! I'm excited to see how my cup turns out. They also make delicious food and coffee. Whenever we visit, we have to get their fries--they're amazing. I'll either choose a dish that comes with fries or just order a basket of them.
A friend took me to a cute little place I've never been before. It was a mellow spot, perfect for getting fresh air, doing work, and enjoying good food and coffee. I ordered avocado toast, which tasted even better than it looks in this picture I promise , it was so flavorful! My friend loved her sandwich, too. I had a white mocha coffee, and as we were leaving, she wanted some chocolate chip cookies. I was too full, but she insisted I try one. The worker, Joy, said they were amazing, and there was none like them. I ended up getting one, and I got home and finally decided to try it. I was told to warm it up before eating so I only sampled a corner, and let's just say It was so good that it never made it to the microwave! Customer service was also A1.
Friendly and patient phone call- explained all the ingredients to avoid allergens. Fancy fig pizza - 5/5 Pesto, cheese, dried figs, feta? Cheese, arugula, crumbled bacon. Nice, sweet and savory balance. Crust is not fresh but premade, but soft and good for a coffee shop. $15 Stocktonian burger- bacon 3 thin strips, burger, cheese, jalapeños (not grilled as menu says but pickled- although grilled would have made this burger outstanding), pickles. Comes with seasoned fries not house made, but tasty. 5/5 $15 Chicken ranch- grilled chicken, tomatoes, fresh red onion, cucumbers with ranch 4/5.
What a cute spot! It's such a vibe! From the outside it's like a house but inside it's quite spacious. We enjoyed that latte and mocha along with a unique twist to their chicken pesto sandwich. Service was great and also quick!

Located within the downtown Stockton area, The Well was a comforting stop for a coffee on my road trip up to the Pacific Northwest from Southern California! I particularly LOVED how the interior was designed to look old school and retained that older Spanish style charm! They have plenty of seating, a rentable venue, and a co-working space you can rent out for the day which was neat. The baristas were solid folks and I greatly appreciated how they kindly brought out the drinks to our table. You've gotta have even the slightest bit of admiration for awesome service after a tiring day. My latte was made just perfectly. Great quality coffee with some sweet latte art to add on! The Well is one cool spot if you ever find yourself craving a nice and warm cup of coffee while in Stockton. I'll definitely be back!
The Well is Soooooo cute! It has been so cold lately, I walked in and it was nice and toasty. The inside was way bigger than I expected. I was greeted when I walked in, which was nice it's usually pretty busy in coffee shops but the welcome was not lost here. So many options on the menu, I order a hot a latte and it was delicious, I also got a blueberry shortbread bar, not overly sweet and solid just how I like it. I will be back to try something else
As always I hesitate to give 5 stars up front, but I will easily give 5 stars here. The environment, the customer service, the quickness of getting my food and drinks, I loved it here. I'm born and raised in Stockton, and finding this hidden gem was surprising, but glad I found it. I had a strawberry lemonade, my wife had a lavender lemonade...for lunch o had the grilled cheese with bacon, perfectly cooked and tasted great...my wife had the Spini-Apple-Salad. The presentation, the quickness of the food, everything was on point. Highly recommend and I know I'll be back
I didn't know this spot existed until I was invited for a meet up. It's located off of Center Street and you may miss it if you don't pay attention. It's a big white building with a gated entrance for parking. You enter through the back from the parking lot. They offer scones, pastries, cookies, breakfast and lunch items. I ordered a large caramel macchiato with almond milk. It was a bit soft, meaning I couldn't taste the espresso. It wasn't anything special. The cookie was ok. Prefer it warm. It's pretty big inside. It reminds me of like an old mission that was converted to a sitting space with a coffee shop. There's a lot of seating areas with tabkes and a lounge area with a sofa for meeting up, doing work or just hanging out. I also noticed there's a room you can rent for a meeting space too. This is a good place to come if you want to meet up centrally in Stockton.

Stopped here on the way back home in need of some caffeine and a bite to eat, and this place delivered! I ordered a honey latte -- not overly sweet, just the right balance of bold coffee and creamy smoothness. For food, I got the burrito, but they were kind enough to accommodate my dietary needs and served it in a bowl instead. It was hearty, flavorful, and just what I needed. Great coffee and a satisfying meal -- perfect stop for a quick drive through the area. Very thankful for the friendly service and flexibility!

The only change I would make next time is getting it without the lemon pepper, it overpowered the melt imo. First off, Walter is the GOAT! He met me with an attentive and warm greeting. I am new to the area and I have been here 3x but I am still getting used to the menu. However, today I wanted to create something of my own and decided to ask if I can "do this or do that" not only was he knowledgeable he was encouraging of my order! I enjoyed the flexibility also the staff is friendly and the establishment is always clean. Definitely a great place to go! Walter said the weekend brunch is awesome-make sure y'all go and check this place out! My food was wonderful and so was my iced tea-no caffeine and no sugar! I will definitely come back weekly! The Well does not disappoint. It always provides a safe space for personal space while one enjoys the taste of freshly brew coffee and freshly baked muffins. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was one of the best coffees I've had in Stockton! The shot was pulled perfectly, great ratios for milk and syrup. They have lots of parking so you don't have to worry about finding street parking and the café is really massive. Can easily fit 50 people without it crowding. They also have a rewards program that actually saves you $$$. I got two dollars off of my first drink and I only paid $5! read more

Met a friend for coffee on a Saturday morning. When we got there the line was out of the door so we sat outside and waited for things to calm down before placing our order. We ended up with coffee and chai. The service was good, the pricing is average and the restaurant itself has a positive vibe. We did not get to try any food. Will definitely visit for food soon and update the review. Also plenty of parking is a plus. read more

This is such a nice spot! It's huge inside, lots of table space, chairs, plugs available to charge your computer/electronics, a long area, and rooms you can reserve for meetings (I'm not sure on the fee for it). I ordered an iced matcha latte and the B.E.C. (Bacon, Egg, Cream cheese) Sandwich. It was all yummy, service was great. The vibe of the place is really nice and it's clean. I definitely will go back and if I was a student I would definitely study here. read more
This is my friends and my go-to coffee shop for meetings and an easy stop on our way to the office. It's huge inside and there are different rooms for big or small meetings and events. It's very clean and spacious inside. There's plenty of parking. Most importantly, their chai latte is pretty good, and their food is good. The staff is very friendly. That's always a plus. It gets pretty crowded here during lunch....love this place! If you're ever in Stockton, you gotta stop by here. read more

The is an old looking (but cool) one story building on Center Street. It has street parking and a private parking lot as well. They have coffee and tea but also sell food so it's great for lunch. The fancy fig pizza is so good - figs, arugula, feta, apple slices, drizzled with balsamic. It's a pretty big size too! And super filling. read more
We had a Galantines event there for my Junior League of San Joaquin County women's group!!We brought our own food in, but the venue has rooms that hold up to 50 or so people. We had this event in the main coffee shop area after closing. We were able to decorate the tables to our liking for our event. So thankful our group had this nice place to have our event/fundraiser at. read more

The Well is such a good spot for students. They have free wifi that is fast. It is busy, but spots open up often. There is so much seating and the interior is warm and cozy. It has a lot of vintage decorations and is very stylish. I ordered the Winter Berry seasonal drink which was really tasty & came out fast. The staff is nice and welcoming. I wish I knew about this spot sooner! read more

I love coming here! The ambiance is very chill and relaxing with a great choice of music and modern but "coffee shop" style interior design. The food is "scrump-a-dili-umptious" along with great coffees and redbull based energy beverages. Nia is usually the one who takes my orders with a great spirit of customer service and a smile that is easily contagious. read more

Really great atmosphere, good food, and reasonably priced! I like that the matcha latte starts as sugar-free. The potatoes in the breakfast bowl were cooked well, not too starchy and just the right size. The bacon bits added a nice touch. Good portions too, not overly filling but fills you up too. The perfect modern spot for brunch or coworking, with friends or alone on the go. read more
