The other team member is great, he was always professional, but it's a bad sign when the CEO/owner doesn't respect or acknowledge poor cleaning services and has an ego about their years of experience instead of remedying the situation. Summary: Ever and his wife (Ever does the painting and the wife does the cleaning side of the company) are very nice and personable people. They really tried to finish the job strong, but there was just so much prep work that didn't happen in the beginning - which left many areas still needing work. Details: There was little to no attention to details throughout the project; from sanding, filling holes, taking old hardware off in various places, taking down light fixtures, ect. After moving in, we have found more and more areas where corners were cut, and simple prep work was not done. This has left these areas still uncompleted, despite the 9k we paid to get the job done. Additionally, while I should have asked more questions, I felt the contract was misleading with exactly what was going to get done, which led to an additional 4k scope creep at the end of the job (the doors were not going to be painted, as well as half of my laundry room). Which is a big deal! Below are some areas that were simple to do correctly, but not addressed: - Painting over screws in the wall - Neglecting to remove light fixtures - Not filling in holes as needed - Unpainted areas/Not painting all the trim - Getting significant amount of overspray on our brand new 13k wood floors - Leaving previous caulking around various areas and painting over it I also struggled to keep trash picked up out of our yard while their crew was working on our home. There were constantly whataburger bags, coke cans, and to-go containers left all around our front yard, leaving even more work for us. While it looks good from afar, there are spots that still need work in every single room. This is not only frustrating, it has left us feeling like we overpaid, and with buyers remorse. If we hadn't been under such a time crunch, we would have switched contractors mid project.

The details are as follows: Thursday November 8th, 2018 I began having issues with this company. This house was completely empty as we had not moved in yet. We're moving from Pflugerville on the 15th. I'm OCD, so I decided to hire them to come in and take care of the cleaning. They showed up the first appointment day (11/8/18) and did not clean the house. I stood outside for the hour and 48 minutes that they were inside. Figured since they were 'professional' cleaners that I did not have to micromanage them. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I should have just done it all myself!!! I walked inside with only my socks on thinking it was cleaned and found everything to be exactly in the same condition it was before they arrived - Dirty! Photos included I called them to get them back out there and requested a different crew or to have my money refunded. To my surprise, Juana the owner, was one of the ladies I had just met in my home. When Emma finally called me back on Monday I was told that usually after 3 days they don't come back to an address and I should be lucky they are willing to come back at all. They had my credit card information and will not refund more than $50 out of the $115 that I paid. Apparently this is a scam that they've done for awhile. They come in do a poor job don't even use cleaning products - only damp rags to make it appear as if it was properly cleaned. Then they reschedule and never show back up to complete the job. Most people don't think they can do anything about it, however if you pay someone for a service and they don't preform or offer a full refund it is theft. Taking advantage of people that don't know they have consumer rights isn't ethical. Monday, November 12th: I was left waiting at the apartment for them to show up for the second appointment after threatening APDs involvement - our appointment time for the follow up cleaning was at 12pm. Nobody called me to tell me they were running late. I call and was told they're 'experiencing car issues' and won't arrive now until 2pm. At this point I'm beyond annoyed. I'm wasting precious time I could be packing for our move from Pflugerville to Austin to sit here and wait for them. Whatever you do - Don't hire Juana or her team at Lluvia Green Cleaning as they will smile in your face, waste your time, and try to steal your money. Just save yourself the trouble and clean it yourself or spend the extra money on hiring a reputable company. After they left the second time, I found more items that were never cleaned / directives ignored. While they were here I was constantly having to point out dirty things and show them what to do. I ended up just redoing everything myself. Also, never received the receipt to my email as promised. Pretty sure they only showed back up for the second time to avoid further APD involvement. Juana and her team offered me discounts for future cleanings, however unless I get amnesia or hell freezes over I'll be sticking to my guns and avoiding this company like the plague.

They charged us $300 for a 1,509 sq ft house -- despite the fact that the home had brand-new blinds, brand-new flooring in all three bedrooms, and no refrigerator to clean. This was absolutely not a discounted or bargain price. Before hiring them, they specifically promised they would come back and address anything my realtor found unsatisfactory after the cleaning. Based on that promise, I paid them in full immediately after the service. A few days later, my realtor inspected the property and found the cleaning quality extremely poor. She provided them with a detailed list of areas that were still dirty. One toilet was so poorly cleaned that my realtor cleaned it herself. On another toilet, instead of properly scrubbing blue staining inside the toilet, they simply suggested replacing the whole toilet altogether. That alone tells you the level of effort they put into the job. The dishwasher was still dirty. Windows, baseboards, drawers, and other surfaces were visibly dirty. There were even cobwebs still hanging on the walls. When I contacted them to come back as promised, their attitude immediately changed. They were rude, dismissive, and kept delaying scheduling. I gave them my husband's number to coordinate a return visit, and they said the earliest they could come was Saturday (nearly a week later). Then on Saturday, they suddenly claimed they would not return unless someone was physically present at the house to inspect their work. This made absolutely no sense because they already knew the property was vacant and that we were remote landlords. They had completed the original cleaning using an access code with nobody present, so this was clearly just an excuse to avoid honoring their promise. After that, they stopped answering calls from both me and my husband entirely. The house was still dirty, and we ended up paying another cleaning company to redo the entire job properly. Unprofessional, dishonest, and extremely poor-quality work. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company. Respond to the owner's response: you lied! (1) The toilet was totally cleanable. The second cleaner cleaned this toilet with no problem. It looks very clean now. But you even didn't try and simply asked me to buy a new toilet. What a moron. Another toilet shown in the picture showed how my realtor easily cleaned after you still left it dirty! (2) my husband said he didn't clearly agree to have someone come for you because your accent was strong and he couldn't clearly hear what you said. Simply not realistic for us to agree. When he called you, you also didn't tell him which day and time you could come back to clean the house either. Later when I called you to come back, I already explained to you why we couldn't have someone on the spot waiting for you because it was an empty house and we couldn't hire someone to wait for you there. You knew this already even before we let you clean our house at the beginning, because we gave you the house access code to come in and nobody was there! We told you our realtor would come a few days later to check and asked if you could come back to finish cleaning if she pointed out dirty places. You agreed which is why we gave you money to do it. Unfortunately we paid you in full on the same day you did the cleaning. So you can become a moron later. You simply didn't want to keep your own promise to come back to finish cleaning. You could simply say you would come back to finish cleaning what we pointed out and no more trips if my realtor found out more later. However you simply refused to answer our phone and disappeared! If you continue to lie in public here after causing us so much stress and financial loss by hiring a second cleaner, I will further seek related third party for help. I don't believe such a horribly bad company could lie like this in public.
