    Seasonal Harvest Salad (sans bacon)
    Lee D.

After a LONG day of driving, we were looking for a place to eat that wasn't McDonalds or Subway. We did not know Dewey's was a chain as we are not local but we were very pleased with our selection. We arrived around 4:45 and had our choice of tables but by 5, the restaurant, while not overly large, was full! Hubby ordered the side Caesar and I ordered the seasonal Harvest salad without the bacon. Both were very good and a generous size. Each salad also has an entree size. Several different sizes of pizza, and many are very creative combinations. Hubby had the Bronx Bomber with onion, green peppers, pepperoni, sausage, and black olives. I had the Edgar Allen Poe (olive oil, whole roasted garlic and Kalamata olives, mozzarella, fontina, and goat cheese finished with tomatoes and parsley after coming out of the oven) It also has mushrooms but I ordered without. We both ordered the 11" size and took three of the eight small slices to go. We were talked into the Opera cream torte which was good but not standout. Service was friendly and efficient; we were in and out in an hour and back on the road. The restaurant was clean and festively decorated for the holidays. Not cheap but a good dinner with leftovers.

Cuban Pizza and Meatball! Was so excited I forgot to take a picture when it first came!!

We love Dewey's , but this location is our favorite one!! Great customer service!! We decided to have their pizza kits for Christmas dinner! It was a hit!! We ordered the crust to already be tossed so it was easy! Bronx Bomber, Edgar Allen Poe, pepperoni and sausage pizza kits were perfect!! The easiest part was putting them together because they packaged everything great!! Add the Peppercorn Ranch salad and we were SET!!

Ordered during a slower time for a carry out. My order was ready when they said it would be and I had very nice and friendly waitress who helped check me out. Pizza was nice and fresh even when I got home. Restaurant looked clean inside and out.

    Southwest bbq chicken pizza
    Hayley M.

We ordered Dewey's white pizza, meatball, and southwest bbq pizza. The pizzas looked amazing but the taste was underwhelming. The white pizza was bland. The meatballs themselves were tasty, but the pizza itself needed more cheese. The southwest bbq chicken pizza was good. I was really excited to try Dewey's, but it just wasn't great, and it was pricey.

Everybody, each member of the staff was fantastic. The pomme soufflés are out of this world. They are such a treat. We always love their Hamachi, specially, when they have it with the grapefruit and slivers of jalapeños. Right now they have a truffle Hamachi, which was really fabulous as well. Their foie gras torchon is also exceptional. We cannot wait for them to bring back the cod in buerre Blanc sauce. But last night we opted for the hamburger, which is quite the treat there. If you are a bourbon drinker, you should try their buffalo trace single barrel right now. My husband thought it was more delicious than most other buffalo trace, more of a cherry and vanilla hint. Anyway, we had a perfect night.

The location and venue are super cool, beautifully decorated and super interesting. The service is also impeccable, our server Lindsey was very knowledgeable and the rest of the staff seemed to care for patrons to ensure they had a great experience. However, our final bill came to over 900$ and none of us were impressed by the food. I understand fine dining is not going to be large portions, but 1 small scallop and 1 Brussels sprout for 32$ is insane. The rest of the dishes were fine, but in the same way they were very small for insane prices. The pommes soufflés are just French fries. There are so many better places in the city that you're not going to spend this kind of money and get such disappointing food.

I don't get to Cincy very often, but I was in town for work and this happened to be the closest bar/restaurant near us downtown that looked decent. Safe to say I got very lucky. The first time I went, I ordered the chili as a starter and a chicken tender platter. And when I tell you I was so happy with both -- I mean it. I love a good chili. I grew up eating it with my grandma, and this one tasted like something she would have made. The cheese and sour cream were perfect. I'm not a huge onion guy, but even those worked well with it. Now here's the catch... it was so good that I literally went back and ordered the exact same thing again. And somehow it was even better the second time. They really outdid themselves on both dishes. One thing I noticed the second time around: I asked for three sauces right away, and they brought them out on a plate with a built-in sauce area. It was actually really convenient -- perfect if you're sharing with people. Now let's talk about the tenders. I'll start by saying I know fried chicken pretty well. Pound for pound, these might honestly be the best chicken tenders in America. The easiest comparison I can give is this: imagine if Cane's and Zaxby's had a kid and named him perfection. That's what these are. Sometimes Cane's can be a little light on seasoning, and sometimes Zaxby's goes a little heavy. These are perfectly in the middle with a great crunch and just the right amount of seasoning. Another thing I really liked about this place is the versatility of it. It feels like the kind of spot where you could do anything -- happy hour with friends, a birthday dinner, a corporate dinner, or even a family night out. I love that kind of diversity in a restaurant. Just 10/10 ambiance. And the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Honestly, writing this review is making me want to book a flight back to Cincinnati just to eat there again. Wow.

It was noisy, but we were able to still have a nice conversation. We got the pretzels with beer cheese and spicy mustard. The pretzel was soft, beer cheesy is gooey and so good, and the spicy mustard packed a nice punch! Will definitely recommend! I got the BRU Burger; medium well cook Taleggio Cheese, Bacon, Tomato Jam, Caramelized Onion, Chopped Lettuce, Mayo I got the tomato jam on the side because I never had it and wasn't sure if I'll like it and asked for no bun. The server was nice to offer more shredded lettuce or leaf of lettuce for my burger. The burger was well seasoned, cooked perfectly yo my liking, and to my surprise the tomato jam was delicious! Only thing is... it doesn't come with any sides, not even fries!! You'll have to add that as a side if you want fries ($2). There are other side options. Service is super good, food is good, place is clean, cocktails made well. Overall, definitely would be back next time I'm here. Sadly, I devoured my deconstructed burger before a photo could be snapped.

This time we were here on a Sunday, with Dewey's being one of the few sit down restaurants in Clifton open on Sunday. We wanted to meet up with friends for dinner before a show at Ludlow Garage. We arrived around 5:15 and the place was pretty empty. By the time we left it had filled up considerably. Dewey's is still as popular as ever. The restaurant was clean and the service was fantastic. Everyone who stopped by was smiling and helpful. Our drinks were regularly refilled. We ordered the Harvest Salad, which was fresh and tasty. I split with Mark, who ordered it with Ranch rather than the balsamic it usually comes with. I enjoyed it. Our friends also ordered the Harvest Salad and ate it all up. For those interested, the Harvest Salad is one of their current specials and is Field Greens, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Figs, Boursin Cheese, Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bacon, Housemade Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing. For dinner each couple ordered an 11" pizza. We ordered the DON CORLEONE - Red Sauce, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Genoa Salami, Capicola Ham, Oregano. It was a lot of meat, which I guess is good, but it was filling. The crust was perfect. Even the edges were tasty. I did have a mishap while grabbing a piece. The pizza and the cardboard it was sitting on fell through the pizza holder. We salvaged it gracefully without needing assistance from the staff. While I enjoyed the pizza, I could have done with half as much. Our friends ordered the PORKY FIG - Fig Jam, Mozzarella, Fontina, Prosciutto, Caramelized Red Onions,Gorgonzola and really enjoyed it. Though we didn't watch, I like how the kitchen is behind glass. Pizza prep and baking is on full display. We have a Dewey's close to us. So when an office I call on ordered from here, I was excited to give them a try. I swung by to pick up their order. The host was friendly and helpful. My pizza was ready quickly so I was off to the office with a stack of huge pizzas. They ordered a variety of pizzas, and I can easily say, I liked them all. I really liked the sweater sauce. Based on this experience, I'd definitely try them again.
