My sister bought a Groupon to here for the chocolate tasting. Each person got to sample 10 desserts. The desserts were all very good with my favorite being the chocolate butter cake, the lemonade cheesecake bite was a close second. Misty, the owner, was very nice and did not rush us at all. The place is very cozy and makes you feel at ease. We bought some desserts to take home. Lousy customer service. My wife spoke to one of workers week before order suppose to be ready. In person & text. She gets to store & can't find the order. She starts telling my wife that oh they got hundreds of cake. My wife comes home with cake that was a sloppy mess & not what she ordered. I was in charge of bringing desserts to a wine festival today and wanted to bring something really special. This place hit it out of the PARK! Misty, the owner, was there. So this is my "go to place"....teachers gifts, coaches gifts, grad parties, husband needs to tell me he's sorry.....nobody has ever been disappointed and my husband is going to celebrate many more anniversaries as long as he can continue to get the "I screwed up Devour Desserts special". Since my kids are now getting older and grocery store sheet cakes are no longer in the taste buds...I was so excited that Devour opened their business to cakes. My taste buds evolved past pre-made, frozen grocery store cakes long before my children's taste buds finally did but I am not a "cake without a reason" eater; so I have been praying for an occasion to try one. I finally got the chance. I can say I was not disappointed and found my new go to cake place. I got the Oreo Bliss cake for my daughter's senior night for soccer. All I can say is that cake was amazing, not that I would expect anything less. As with every product made at Devour, it was clear it was specially made. As in, not whipped up a week ago, then stored in a freezer to thaw and serve. Every layer was decadent and as delicious as everything made at Devour. My only disappointment ..... I did not get two. I know in life we always tend to talk about the negative and keep the positive to ourselves, but this place is proving everyday that every new dessert introduced meets the exceptional standards of the ones before. Other than the normal I don't like an ingredient, ie I don't like cherries so I never order things with cherries, there is not a dessert made here that I have not liked. I can't believe it's taken me this long to review this. I found out about this via GroupOn and I wasn't really sure what I was getting myself into. It turns out I got myself into a heavy addiction. The owner is a sweet heart. The groupon was WELL WORTH the money. We were able to try at least ten desserts each. I think she let us try frosting too. I love alllllll the chocolate things. But the chocolate covered stuffed strawberries are also amazing. While the prices are a bit expensive, totally worth it.. I keep going back! Oh and my husband got me the cupcakes stuffed with chocolate and truffles for my birthday... they did not disappoint. read more

The restaurant has several cozy seating areas to relax, catch up with a friend and eat an amazing sweet treat with a cup of coffee. Hi, I'm writing this review because I would like to give some constructive criticism and as a customer I think it should be said. My family and I have been going to Devour Desserts for some time and love the desserts, however Missy's customer service is lacking. I understand she tries and it can be hard,but if you're in this kind of business then you should make an effort to be a people person. I get she is building her business, but every time I've visited she's in the back, seems busy and anxious and rushes me out the door. There were times I wanted to stay after work. But now no longer do because I feel uncomfortable. She's more concerned with taking pics for instagram than being calm and friendly. Word for thought try to be less anxious and relax- your job is with desserts! Try to show you like your job rather than just say it. read more

My grandmother got me chocolate strawberries for my birthday from here and they were delicious. I have also had other desert trays from here for family gatherings as well as a strawberry short cake and they were all delicious. Never had anything bad from here. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Misty is the greatest owner you can ever imagine. Her passion comes through in all her desserts and each is uniquely delicious. My ultimate test was to refrigerate the rice krispie treat dipped in chocolate, just to see if it got hard and tough to bite into...NOPE. It was just as smooth and easy as room temperature. Now onto the strawberries. I normally gag if I bite into a chocolate covered strawberry and get just strawberry, but I was amazed this time!! The strawberries are honestly the best I have ever had. I cannot wait to have free time to go back. The saddest moment I experienced was today when my box of Devour Desserts was empty. But I only look forward to getting more! Love! I always order trays for holidays & special occasions and Devour never disappoints! Cheesecake stuffed strawberries are always the first to go. I'm a chocolate lover and my favorites (so far) are the Oreo truffles and Carmelitas. On our last tray she threw in a few mini-cannolis and they were amazing. Best buttercream frosting I have EVER tasted! I had given up hope of ever enjoying frosting after years of taking one taste then scraping frosting off of cakes and eating only the cake because most frostings are made with fillers (like unhealthy shortening) to make them easier to decorate with - but not at Devour Desserts. This team does it right. Real butter and natural ingredients and attention to detail. Tried them for the first time a few months ago and have gone back for their handcrafted truffles and sticky buns and their quality is consistent and staff super friendly. Kind of disappointed with the order that I placed a week prior to needing it. I ordered a pound of cookies, with a request for the majority of the order to be 2 kinds of cookies,Almond and Ricotta and a mixture for the rest which were unique cookies as seen in the case. I bought a few different things to try each one. I tried to only have a bite of the butter toffee truffle and could not stop eating it. Loved the hard outside and creamy tasty inside. The choc covered strawberries with strawberry cheesecake were delicious as well. My family loved them. My sister and I came here after a visit to the Wheaton Arts & Cultural Center in Millville. We were hoping to find a place to have some tea & treats after our day of viewing artisans at work and amazing glasswork & ceramics. It was about a half-hour trip, and sadly, the tea selection was not great, but the owner was so wonderful! She suggested a near-by place to have tea (what I call "real" tea as in from whole leaf, not in a bag -- Crescent Moon in Mullica Hill Plaza)) and so we bought some treats to take with us. Though I did not get a chance to taste the chocolate covered strawberries I bought yesterday, the expressions on the recipients' faces said it all. I was trying to come up with an idea to bring to my son and daughter-in-law the day after their first baby was born. I didn't want to bring flowers to the hospital, so food was the better idea. With no luck after calling two places that I knew of, a friend gave me the name of Devour Desserts. I had never heard of them. When I called to see if they had them and they did, I asked if they would drizzle baby blue swirls on top. With no hesitation they said yes and they also did not charge an arm and a leg!
