I don't care how you put it , but this place is Willy Wonka's dream come to life; or a dentist dream shop. Great googly moogly is what came out of my mouth when i saw chocolate covered gummy bears , pretzels dipped in chocolate covered in an oreo crumb... are you kidding me!!! Chocolate dipped jelly rings.. now jelly rings are already good... it just intensified it by covering it in chocolate! I can continue this but i suggest stopping in there. When you walk in the wall in the back has everything in chocolate... dark chocolate, milk chocolate and even white chocolate. If you are not into the chocolate scene they do have the regular candy, what ever you need to feed your " sugar jones" Gelato! It's unreal how unbelievably delicious the gelato is. Had the ferrero rocher (hazelnut chocolate) mixed with a tiramisu ! Wow Yelpers.... I am glad I was walking around while the wife was doing her thing. Price for this marvel is not cheap, different prices for different scoops. Option beyond options beyond more options if you are not into chocolate, candy, or gelato. These guys... this wonderland... pick an adjective and insert type of expressions, they do also offer different assortments of nuts(cashews, pistachio, even sunflower seeds)... how can one choose! **side note they do offer it in chocolate also** If you are on a diet don't walk in...if you want to cheat...then this is the spot to do it. This place separates the fools from the diabetics.. and i am that fool to go back for more of that sweet bliss. Other than the price.. the staff very helpful and allows you to get a taste test here and there.

Just happened to be walking by and looked to see what it was they were selling when the girl behind the counter offered me a free sample. The sample is very small, like a dot smaller than my fingernail, but just enough to get me hooked. I tried the oreo cookies and cream flavor. Wow. Sweet, super rich and thick. I think I will buy some! So I ordered the smallest wee little size cup I could. I think it was $4.50? Not exactly cheap for the size but when something is that sweet and heavenly, I guess it's worth it. Might get it again, a different flavor perhaps. The Sweet Stop is in the upper level of the Deptford Mall just at the entrance to the food court.

The end of block looks like city blight, hope some new businesses locate here across from the Penn Station walk up area. The chocolate is not inexpensive and quite small for the price/value. That did not stop me from buying a few items that quickly added up to $50. Upon tasting them, good not great compared to European chocolates. Oh well, good to support local businesses and enjoy some sweetness along the way.

First of all, I had to get several of the retro postcards that they sell. The artwork is so charming I can't resist and I always feel like I have to share it with others. And it changes each season so you really can learn about greeting card history by looking at the cute details of the art and the postcard. Chloe was very kind and she knew the history behind a marshmallow caramel chocolate that they sell, especially at this confectionary. Another thing I like to pick up is one of their gingerbread cookies. They are hand pressed and I just feel so spoiled to get to enjoy this beautiful and very special cookie. Thank you all so much for all your hard work. You make such wonderful treats and are also a tour guide of your historical shop. You're historians on chocolate and this city. Thank you so much for all your hard work . Past , present and future ! How wonderful we can enjoy even to this day this beautiful building and see all the beautiful candies and chocolates and cards . And here are wonderful stories . 160 years of sweet treats. I'm really grateful that you carry on this lovely tradition. Thank you for everything. And thanks to your suppliers and vendors for all they do too. I had a wonderful time.

My wife and I ordered the Strawberry Banana Pudding, Strawberry Shortcake Cookie, and the ____?___ cookie (i dont know the name lol). Strawberry Banana Pudding: Light, airy whip cream surrounded by vanilla wafers and banana pudding. Fresh strawberries sliced and mixed throughout. Not as dense and heavy as traditional banana pudding, which I appreciate. It came in a decently sized cup. (will upload photo when available) Strawberry Shortcake Cookie: Incredible! Almost an apple to apples comparison to what we nostalgically remember as the Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Bar. The only swap is the ice cream for frosting. The strawberry flavor is pinpoint to the original ice cream bar. I highly recommend! The _______cookie?: It looks like a traditional chocolate chip cookie laced with mini pretzels, M&M, Reese's Pieces, and possibly a caramel or brown sugar glaze. It was sinfully delicious! The showcase had plenty of "this" cookie but the gentleman behind the counter went to the back and got me a fresh cookie. I didn't ask but much appreciated. Friendly staff, I noticed other customers were getting sweets fresh from the back without request. Thats a great sign of the quality and freshness this place is pumping out. Will come again :) All in all, we spent $18.54 (WILL UPLOAD MENU, RECIEPT, AND STRAWBERRY BANANA PUDDING CUP WHEN AVAILABLE)

Crave is what Crumbl would be if the cookies weren't sweeter than your sisters Kool-Aid. Crumbl cookies are just insane sugar bombs, where as Crave seems to have a little more restraint in the sweetness department. And listen.....I've eaten A. LOT. of Crave cookies. They have an ever changing kaleidoscope of flavors, and I'll be honest; they aren't all winners, but they get it right way more than they don't. Also, the store is very clean, and genuinely staffed with some of the nicest and most pleasant young people you'll find. BUT.....they ARE expensive. It's about $5 a cookie, which is insane if you think about it. I would say a half of a cookie is a good serving size for an adult, so if you split it with a friend it's a little less egregious, but $2.50 for a 1/2 a cookie isn't a great number either. It's even worse when you drop the Lincoln and get a less than great flavor. Still, it's almost always a great time at Crave. I fully recommend.
