First of all, I had to get several of the retro postcards that they sell. The artwork is so charming I can't resist and I always feel like I have to share it with others. And it changes each season so you really can learn about greeting card history by looking at the cute details of the art and the postcard. Chloe was very kind and she knew the history behind a marshmallow caramel chocolate that they sell, especially at this confectionary. Another thing I like to pick up is one of their gingerbread cookies. They are hand pressed and I just feel so spoiled to get to enjoy this beautiful and very special cookie. Thank you all so much for all your hard work. You make such wonderful treats and are also a tour guide of your historical shop. You're historians on chocolate and this city. Thank you so much for all your hard work . Past , present and future ! How wonderful we can enjoy even to this day this beautiful building and see all the beautiful candies and chocolates and cards . And here are wonderful stories . 160 years of sweet treats. I'm really grateful that you carry on this lovely tradition. Thank you for everything. And thanks to your suppliers and vendors for all they do too. I had a wonderful time.

Even better? Keep your receipt. Show it at either spot and they'll honor a 5% discount. This shop is a treasure trove of unique treats. I loved browsing for specialty chocolate bars to bring home for my daughter and mom -- the kind you don't find in big-box stores. It's the perfect place to grab thoughtful, delicious gifts (or something to stash for yourself). Whether you're hunting for nostalgic classics, specialty chocolates, or stocking up for the holidays, they've got you covered.

I absolutely love their candy. They are competitively priced with real candy stores. They make…read moretheir own chocolates there. They also sell candy that is not made there that they buy and then bag themselves. They always have cute holiday stuff like candy. They're peanut butter chocolate cups, whether their hearts or whatever they're making at the time are the best ones I have ever had in my entire life. Whenever I go somewhere, I bring this candy as a hostess gift. It's really nice that when you buy a box of chocolates there, they will wrap it at no additional charge or you could buy pre-wrapped ones with their pre-selected candies however I prefer to pick out my own candies now because I know what I like and I don't like. I really don't even buy chocolate candy at the stores anymore. I just go there and buy it. Their chocolate covered pretzels are really good. I don't like milk chocolate so I like to buy the dark chocolate and the chocolatier that they get their chocolate from is a good one. There are tinfoil wrapped candies, while they don't make them there, It is from the same chocolate chocolatier that is made by that company and they order it. They offer sugar-free candy so really anybody can get candy from here and enjoy it. The candy they sell in the stores like Kitcat and all these other candies. It's such a small percentage of chocolate that it's waxy and gross. You will not find that here. You will find what chocolate should truly do that. It melt in your mouth as you eat it.

Great chocolates! Dark chocolate blueberries are the best! Best all-time buttercreamsread more

Spent almost $50 on candies and treats, and firstly all of the "bulk" candy was clearly stale and had been out for a long time. My partner and I also purchased treats called "thin mints" (which any google search would tell you thin mints = girl scout style cookie treat) but when we opened them at home they were peppermint patties, a completely different treat and not something either of us like. We went back today to see if we had been given the wrong thing or if they could help us, and the woman there (assuming she was the owner/manager by her demeanor) was so so unprofessional and dismissive! We walked in and no one greeted us, the "owner" woman was at the register on her cell phone talking and turned away from us upon walking in. After a few minutes a young girl came out and helped us, so I explained the miscommunication the day before. The owner (note, she was also in the store the day before during our initial transaction) interrupted to explain in a pretty condescending way that they meant something different by "thin mints" and that we clearly did not know. She then got back on her phone and turned her back, clearly did not care that a customer was unhappy. I explained to her employee that this was clearly a miscommunication and can they help us with switching to a candy we like or give us a refund, and she quickly refused and offered no other path to making the situation right. So disappointing to want to support a small business, just to realize they completely don't care about what they are selling or who they are selling to. Seriously, go to the Head Nut candy shop in town instead.
