Sweet treats, chocolates, and all of the candy you can imagine in any size, color or childhood memory. They did a candy bar for an event I attended and it was all the baby blue candies you could imagine. The store is not huge so be warned if you plan on bringing a tribe of kids. read more

I came in here recently with my son, as we were stopping at another store in the same shopping center. I'm not sure if they were just behind on cleaning after a busy holiday season but it was super cluttered and messy inside. There was a small walking path to barely get around. The shelves were pretty empty and what they did have available just didn't look very great. Maybe they accommodate to a lot of bulk or online orders more than the storefront; but I personally won't return here or order from here. read more

I've used Candy for All Occasions for all my customized sweet treats! I recently used them for a small candy order of favors for the office holiday party. I'm always pleasantly pleased with the service! Special thanks to Sue for receiving my order last minute and accommodating my order. It was a huge success. I ordered last minute during a busy season but I was able to secure hot cocoa bombs, chocolate covered pretzels and other delectable delights with customized ribbons. Great experience! I live in SC and was in charge of baby shower favors for my sister's baby shower. I would give them five stars, but they loose a star for their website. It is pretty outdated and extremely hard to read. I called the store two weeks before I needed the candy to be picked up and went over what I wanted. The lady who helped me was extremely helpful! She steered me in the correct direction that I needed for the appropriate boxes, color of writing and they were able to provide the flavors of chocolates I wanted (dark chocolate with raspberry in the middle & milk chocolate with peanut butter mousse in the middle) I arrived the day scheduled pick up and they were all ready and packed! The staff was just as awesome in person as they were on the phone. The chocolates were delicious and fresh. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any kind of candy favor. read more

I was so disappointed with my experience at this store that I thought I had to leave a review with hopes that they will improve. I came here prior to Christmas to pick up some stocking stuffers and had a pretty bad experience. If I am buying something from a small business that I could normally buy anywhere, I expect really good customer service as I am likely paying more money to support this store. The customer service here was a disaster. The staff was complaining about having to work, not paying attention to what customers were asking, and two of the girls got into an argument in front of me. It was uncomfortable to witness. The place was also a bit of a mess when I was there. I am not sure if that was due to how busy it was prior to Christmas, or if that is just their status quo, but it was off putting. I hope my experience was a one off and just the result of the staff being worn out prior to the holidays, but it isn't likely that I will be back to see if this is the case or not. I can have a more pleasant and cheaper experience elsewhere. read more

As an out of towner, I searched family owned candy stores so I could buy my daughter candy for her Easter Basket. I am so happy to have found this wonderful store in Wilmington, Delaware! Handmade chocolates, every candy you can imagine.....and many that are beyond imagination....line the walls and shelves. The personalized service is a throwback to better days. The prices were more than reasonable. In fact, I was surprised at how well priced it was. They observe all COVID protocols and I felt very safe in the shop. They also ship to other States! We need more shops like this and less chains and buying on big box websites! read more

Staff is helpful, friendly and generally happy to help you. I buy my shoe string licorice here every October for my Halloween cookies and always find other amazing hand crafted and dipped treats for friends and family. As a bonus it simply smells amazing in this store. read more

Butter creams sold here are amazing! They always have a great selection of candies or treats for the holidays.

I ordered favors for my daughter's wedding shower 2 weeks before the event. I was quoted a price and prepaid my order as required. I was called a few hours later that the price was actually .50/per box more. At the shower, it was discovered that my daughter's name was misspelled. Very embarrassing and disappointing. I called the owner of the store the next day with my complaint. The only thing she offered was her apology, would not offer any compensation. We had planned on purchasing chocolates for the wedding favors at this store but will not be doing business here anymore. Very poor business procedures. read more

After my 2nd visit to this establishment within a 2 day period I promised myself I will never return. When I found out they had chocolate covered espresso beans I was completely excited and foresaw many visits to the business with me only working across the street. I even brought a co-worker with me on my 2nd visit to purchase more espresso beans as well as gave a great review to many other co-workers while advertising (willingly without their knowledge) the candy store no one knew was right across the street from us. On that 2nd visit I entered and purchased 2 bags of the beans and returned to my place of employment. I was immediately excited about having more espresso beans after the bag I purchased the day prior was now gone due to me sharing with my co-workers. I opened 1 bag to bite into the first piece and tasted that they were not espresso beans at all but instead espresso flavored chocolate. I left right away to return across the street to the store to explain the situation in hopes of getting what I purchased. The young lady whom was now at the cash register returned to where I got the supposed to be chocolate covered espresso beans and acknowledged that in fact things were incorrectly labeled. I was told that I would not be able to get the correct item, not even on the bag that I never opened. Again, I had not been gone from the store for even 8 minutes. The young lady even went and confirmed with an older woman whom said the only thing I could do to get the correct item was to purchase again, which I was not going to do. I vowed to never return to this store and to make sure that everyone that I referred to the store knows about my frustrating experience. I also left with them the bags that were incorrectly labeled because lets be honest, it's more about the principle of the matter than the money.
