First of all, I'd like to say that Devine was not my first choice of auto places, but it was my sister's choice. Was going to just go in, get some business cards, and leave but... stayed for some reason. Employee Adam went in to get business cards and Employee Albert came out to talk to us briefly. I had asked to see the cheapest car on the lot because we're not very well off, and money is a real struggle right now (like most people, we also had mediocre credit. Been rebuilding..) Albert mentioned low interest possibilities, especially for first time buyers (we thought we were second time buyers, but the previous place we went to years ago screwed us over apparently.) He said to let them take a look and try to see what they could do with financing. We were on a time limit, but decided to go ahead and look at the options. So Employee Isaac took our info, and worked for a while trying to find options for us. We waited for about an hour maybe an hour and a half. Honestly, I was getting kind of skeptical because I'm so used to places screwing me over? But they were very friendly, constantly talking to us about things, everyone greeted us. While we waited, Albert asked if we wanted to drive the car that Adam suggested to us (we weren't picky about cars, we just needed one asap because our Volvo was messing up really bad). The car in question was a 2005 Nissan Altima. My sister drove, I rode in passenger, and Albert rode in the back as we went around a few blocks, testing the car. We noted a few things that were messed up like the AC/Heater fan wasn't blowing, and a few other things. Albert noted them, and mentioned that the mechanic was going to look into them. (He fixed them right up! Apparently, he already knew they were messed up, and had already had ordered parts for them and everything, so it wasn't like they were ignoring the problem either!) Eventually Isaac got back with us and mentioned that I was approved! I've never been approved for things like this, so I was shocked! They also got us a really low interest rate, and a super low monthly payment! This was insane for me to even think about because when we did the other car we had, back in 2010 at a different place, they wanted like almost twice as much, with a lot higher interest rate! The length of the term is also workable too, which is good for us! This really helped us, and honestly I don't exactly know why people are putting negative reviews. I mean, sure things happen sometimes, but overall, this has been a wonderful experience so far! We got the keys on the same day we came in! They literally helped us when we were down, picked us up, dusted us off, gave us a car and sent us on our way! They have an open-door policy, so if you need anything like if you have questions or something, you can come in and ask at any time! They are very nice people, and they will help you out. I've already recommended them to several friends that are also looking for vehicles. If you aren't sure if this place is the place to get your next car, then let me reassure you and say that it won't hurt you to give them a try! It might take a couple hours of fandangling the financing, but they will work with you as much as they can! It's best to go in prepared though (with your questions, information such as pay stubs, proof of residency, all your current ID info etc!) to make things go smoother though. Can't blame them for information that YOU don't provide. They can only do so much, you gotta meet in the middle! In years past I could walk into a new dealership and walk out with a 0.7% loan. Today, my financial leverage has changed. Before purchasing my truck from DeVine I did my version of due diligence: researching used car ads across the internet- Craigslist, Kelley Blue Book, Google searches and I read reviews of both the cars and the dealerships. When I walked into DeVine I had researched a specific truck, only to find that it was financially out of reach. I was walking off the lot when I was approached by George who asked me a few questions about what I was looking for and showed me the truck I ended up purchasing. In doing my research I had looked it up as well so I was familiar with the Kelly Blue Book prices and after a short test drive I was able to make a good deal. I was told by Rick in the office not to worry that they stand behind their vehicles. Still a bit nervous (no mechanic, as always advised). Just trusting some online reviews. The first time I tried my headlights one didn't work. I called George and he assured me it wouldn't be a problem and bring it down when I was able. Before I could take it down I noted a couple of other problems with the steering column. I scheduled an appointment and dropped my truck off for repair without any problems. The entire staff was great and went above and beyond: Rick gave me a ride home after dropping the truck off, George gave me a ride when it was ready. The steering column part was received defective multiple times and when September became aware of the situation (bad replacement parts) she involved Mike who had my truck completed within just a couple of days. A comedy of errors that could have turned out quite differently. Thank you all at DeVine for making buying a used vehicle a little less scary. We drove 3 hours just to BUY A CAR from DEVINE AUTO SALES!!! First of all, my transaction started ALL online. I saw they had a texting option so I text the given number and someone responded within 1 minute it was a REAL person. He was not pushy at all and only answered questions I asked. After getting information on the truck we wanted I was very interested and the sales manager gave me call. Mike is AMAZING!!!!! He set absolutely everything up for me so that when we drove all the way down there all we would have to do was sign! Now you may be thinking why would you do that if you hadn't seen it or driven it, well let me tell you the customer service was so good on the phone and the reviews I read on Yelp and google were amazing I gave it a chance! We drove 3hrs to Devine Auto and immediately knew we made the right choice. ALL of the people who work here are amazing, they were waiting for us and had the keys ready as soon as we pulled up for the test drive. The truck was beautiful and you could tell that this place ONLY sells well kept and certified used cars! Mike cares DEEPLY about his business and really offers the best service I have EVER had buying a car. It continues to get better....2 weeks after buying the truck we went through hell with a tire we thought was flat but the rim was cracked all while on vacation in Lake Tahoe!! Also the brakes were sounding like metal on metal! We called Mike immediately and without blinking and eye he first apologized and then said "bring it to me and I will take care of it and do ANY and all repairs needed" We drove it right back to him and he was so sincere and took care of absolutely everything without asking ONE question!!! About a month ago I went to a dealership that wasn't able to help me and I had been without a car for two years.
