Our waitress was super nice and very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed. The store is very spacious and it wasn't too loud, so you can enjoy a nice dinner with friends or family here. The prices here are so much friendlier than most places and they offer a lot of protein in the dishes as well Seafood Teppan Udon - It doesn't look like there's a lot of sauce when it comes out, but there is. I highly recommend mixing it up and trying it first before pouring more sauce on your own and accidentally making it too salty like I did. Even then, the umami really shined through. The salmon pieces got stuck to the plate pretty quickly too so make sure to mix those up immediately when you get the plate. Beef Teppan Rice - This one is your classic. They give you plenty of beef in here and the sauce is very well distributed. The beef was also a little more on the tender side so it was easy to quickly inhale our meal Galaxy Teas - We got the strawberry and the mango one. I assumed it'd have milk in there, but it was just fruit tea that came out. It's not as flavorful as I was hoping but it was refreshing to have during dinner. Takoyaki - This was a great appetizer. It came out hot, but the inside was cool enough for us to not burn ourselves with one bite. Sauce was generous so it was very flavorful
For being something as simple as meat and rice, teppan is so good! Mixing in the black pepper sauce and meat with the rice is delicious. I used to eat the meat and rice separately but no more! The jalapeno appetizer can either be really spicy or very mild depending on the pepper, but it's worth the gamble. And my favorite app the wings! Very crispy and juicy on the inside. They take your order at the table and all you have to do is wait and enjoy your sizzling bowl!
This place is located in a strip mall where there are lots of food options. Chose this one for the sizzling rice dish. There was lots of seating when we came for late lunch. The server was friendly and ordering was easy. The food came out pretty quickly. We got sweet potato fries, fried chicken and a salmon sizzling plate. The wings were small but yummy and crispy! The fries were tasty. The salmon plate was good but it was a little too fishy tasting. Overall, the place is ok. Will continue my quest for the best sizzling plate.
I came here often in the past but recently I was here and there amount of meat they give you is a JOKE. My mom had the salmon and it was the thinnest 3 slices. The chicken was only 7 pieces and the katsu the same. They are feeding ants here and giving you way more rice than you need and very little pieces of meat. I am never coming back. How do you expect to have customers if you are so stingy. This is why you guys are always empty. Goodluck
This place is good! I've been here a good amount of times for the past 3 years and every visit has been great. I've tried their beef teppan rice, chicken teppan rice, and also tried them in the curry option. All tasted great. Compared to pepper lunch I'd say it's just as good maybe even a little better.
Tried this place out for the first time. Negatives: -price, for the portion sizes it's a little pricey, the meat portions were quite small. Positives: -taste, we got the beef rice skillet, a seafood skillet and the calamari. The presentation was cool and the flavor was good especially with their house spice. -ambiance, is also standard nothing much to say too. -service, not much to say as service was minimal. Overall 3.5/5 Since I can't do half scores and we won't likely be going back, I'll give this place a 3/5 yelp score. It wasn't good enough for us to drive all the way back to Eastvale to eat here again.
The food came out so fast. It was really really really good. The sauce that they provided the table as well as a hot chili oil is probably one of the best sauces I've ever had. I don't really like calamari, but this was some really really really good calamari. The main dishes all come uncooked, but don't be scared. It cooks right there on the skillet in front of you. I'd love coming here. I hope to come back again. The artwork on the walls are super fun and colorful. Everyone was so attentive. I loved it.
Enjoyed the food greatly. Came on a Sunday pm and were seated right away. Deciding what to get was a bit hard but after that, everything was easy. We got wings and waffle fries for appetizers. Both were piping hot when they came. I'd skip the fries next time and double the wings. I had to cook my beef a bit in my hot pot but it cooks pretty quickly so that was nice. Hubby liked the chicken and the teen liked the udon. Love the art in the restaurant. Everything about it reminded my son and I of our summer trip to Japan. Well done! Will be back.
Devil's Kitchen may not be known for its sushi, but I believe it might be better left off their menu. The rice in the rolls was highly inconsistent--some bites were okay, while others were hard and tasted like old rice. Honestly, the sushi rolls from local Asian grocery stores are much better in quality. I'll have to try their other items instead

I don't know if it was because it was cold and rainy, or we were just really hungry... but their food really hit the spot. It's pretty much comfort food served hot on a skillet. I ordered the curry beef skillet and my husband got the curry chicken katsu. They were both delicious. Their curry has just the right level of spicy to make the dish extra tasty. Although they offer to-go, I think any of the skillet dishes should be enjoyed in the restaurant - hot and sizzling. Also, after mixing my rice and beef with the curry, I left a thin layer of rice on the bottom of the skillet so it can get all crispy and ate that part last. THAT was just the best. We are definitely coming back. read more

This was my first time trying teppan! I wanted to try the beef and chicken, and even though it's not on the menu it's possible to get both! My boyfriend ordered the seafood combo, which came with shrimps, scallops, and salmon. Mine definitely seemed like it came with more food but it was because I got double meat. The drinks were delicious & there's plenty of different options from milk teas, fruit teas, lemonade and other soft drinks. Our waitress was super attentive and helpful with the menu! Always our family's fave place to go! Although it's a bit far travel, but still closer than traveling across town to Irvine - Pepper lunch. Service is excellent, serve food super fast! I wish they would add more rice, the portion is rather smal. When you ask for more rice, they will charge you $3 extra (wish they told me ahead of time) read more

A lot of these Teppanyaki places have been popping up so we decided to try this one in Corona. We got the jumbo beef plate. There's nothing special about the beef itself but the way their plates grill the rice makes it super crispy. Make sure you use the sauce as the food is a little bland without it. The jumbo plate is enough for two moderately hungry people. We also got the tiger sugar milk tea, which contained a lot of syrup and was a little too sweet but for some weird reason, my friend really liked it. Prices are reasonable and we definitely want to come back to try the other plates. read more

If they offer more meat, I would give it a 5 star review. The best value meal is the jumbo beef, which is a normal size for one person meal. Otherwise, you are paying $15 for a big chunk of rice with only a few pieces of sliced beef. The beef is very flavorful. Service is excellent. It gets busy after 7pm. If you come before that time, you probably dont need to wait. I wouldn't recommend their salmon, because you are basically eating the rice. I tried the salmon on the other day. It was only a few bites of salmon not worth it. If you are coming here for the first time, definitely go with the $19 JUMBO beef (with an egg). read more

Extremely disappointed on this one. Ordered to go: Hamburger Steak and Salmon Teppan Rice Seafood Teppan Rice First we opened our to go box and everything looked like FRIED RICE! Salmon is almost non existent. It's flaked, what's worst they probably flaked a tiny slice of salmon. Did I mention the hamburger steak is too rubbery? The seafood rice... just call it shrimp rice next time, because aside from the missing (well shredded) salmon, there's one little scallop in there. Then there's the taste: while I expect it to be peppery(as they seem to be very similar to another restaurant I know) this dish is too salty! And rice is not even nice Gave 2 starts because the servers are nice. See pix for reference read more

It has become one of our favorite restaurants. Delicious dinners. Super fresh California Rolls and the Langostino Rolls are fantastic! My favorite dinner is the Jumbo Beef Teppan Rice. I love the crunchy rice at the bottom & the sauce. My husband just ordered the Chicken Teppan & Rice and there was a lot of chicken. We also treat ourselves to the ice cream. The Green Tea is really good. Also, super friendly employees. Definitely recommend eating here read more

I finally had a chance to try this place! This place reminds me of pepper lunch in Irvine. We dined in and ordered the beef teppan and chicken cutlet curry rice. We also added vegetables to our dishes. Both dishes came out fast and was full of flavor! I really liked my chicken cutlet curry. The chicken was crispy and the curry had good flavor. The only thing is that it's a little pricy. It was over $40 with tip for 2 people. I will definitely come back and try the other items on the menu! read more
1st time here with a friend. Located local to industrial businesses you will find it easily sitting within a corner street food type mall. Limited parking but appears to be enough for all businesses. Dune in or out available. Very clean environment. Great attentive customer service. Food and drinks were great too. Would definitely be a repeat customer if i lived closer. read more

My daughter and I tried this place out for the first time yesterday for a swim club fundraiser and we loved it. I asked for a recommendation and the server said the curry chicken cutlet and it was delicious. My daughter liked her Salmon Teriyaki rice too and I got an order to go for my son as well. Can't wait to go back and try something else (though the curry chicken was so good, going to be difficult getting away from that). They were very busy when we were leaving (~7:30pm on a Thu) so it took a while to get the check but not too long. read more

Was around the area and really wanted teppanyaki, so I gave them a try. Now I'm from the Bay, so Sizzling Lunch holds a special place in my heart, but this place did a pretty good job. My friend and I came in around 3:30 p.m on a Sunday and most of the tables inside were filled, but we were able to be seated right away. They have lots of outdoor seating as well. The service was great! There were only two people working in the front, but service was efficient and attentive! We both ordered the beef teppan rice, a mango galaxy tea, and a peach galaxy tea. Beef Teppan Rice: 4/5 I absolutely loved how flavorful this dish was! I was expecting to season it on my own like I do at other places, but their house sauce complemented well and it wasn't too overpowering. Did think the beef portion was a bit small compared to other places considering it is similar price. Both the mango and peach galaxy teas were too sweet to our liking, but then again, our fault for not asking for less sugar. I really liked seeing how extensive their menu was, and would love to come back to try some of their crispy wraps and other teppans! read more
I have to say their food is delicious but it is costly considering they don't give you a big portion for how much your paying for. That is a reason why I knocked down a star. I knocked down another star is because they didn't clean the table well enough before I decided to sit down. The table was still sticky with the leftover from the previous customers food. I had to tell the girl who was serving me to whip it down again. I'm a germaphobic, so it gives me anxiety to see sticky stuff on my table. The food was delicious, but like I said... it wasn't enough. You would think they would give you a lot of food since the cost of one dish is about $20 almost. The beef udon Teppan I ordered had like less than 10 pieces of meat, some bites of corn and barely 5 gulps of udon. It's not even a whole meal, too be honest. If you are charging almost $20 for a dish... you best believe I want to fill my tummy. SOOO I ordered a appetizer. Baked green mussels. I had too because I saw how the plate was... and I knew I wasn't gonna be full. I also ordered the Tiger Milk Tea which was pretty decent. I can't complain considering it's brown sugar milk tea basically. Overall, this place can provide a bigger portion of food. If you are gonna charge almost $20 per meal... 5 bites to some folks is like an appetizer to be honest. Parking is not that difficult but you do have to spin around a few times to get parking. It's also a home to a ramen place, a sushi place, a Starbucks and a few other stores and restaurants. I was lucky enough to find parking after 5 minutes. Happy Eating! read more

The rolls aren't great, but not a sushi place. The wings tastes old and refried for crispness. The crispy spam roll is good, but i would get it without the lettuce and the aioli. I would recommend sticking to the teppans, but right when it hits the table, make sure you mix it before the rice gets burned and then it would be a waste. Recommend if you get the ribeye, get it medium rare because the skillet is so hot it still cooking the steak. The service is ok - this place is always busy so it takes time for your food for sure. read more

What a cool place and addition to The Station in Eastvale! I'm almost ashamed to say it, but I've never had Teppan before. I went here because my husband wanted to try the ramen place next door, and I'm not a big ramen fan. I love seafood and saw they had some seafood options, so I decided to give it a try. The person servicing me was really helpful. I told her it was my first time and she helped me come to a decision... I went with the Seafood Teppan (shrimp, scallop, salmon) Rice. I sat outside (there's a really nice outside setup) and they brought me my plate when it was ready. It was on its own little sizzling plate, and I was really intrigued by the set up. The salmon was raw but quickly cooked on the plate. The rice ended up being pretty tasty, and I'm not even a huge rice fan. Definitely a good amount of food too - I wasn't able to finish it. They also offer curry rices - which I'm really curious about. Maybe next time. I noticed after the fact that they also offer octopus balls. I'm so mad at myself for not ordering these because I love them! So much to try next time. There will definitely be a next time. read more

Bought to go (March 03, 2022) chicken teppan rice plus egg ($12.99 plus $1.25 for egg) and Hamburg and salmon teppan rice plus egg ($13.99 plus $1.25 for egg) Pros: The chicken tastes good A lot of rice (they just want you to get full for the rice) Cons: The portion was small (trust the other reviews) The size of the salmon is a joke. The rice is super salty (maybe the chef is having a bad day, or the place is busy) First time trying it and it will be my last time. I hope everyone else will have better experience than me. read more

Saw this place open up next to one of my favorite Asian eateries (Little Eastern Cafe), and just had to try based on the promotional posters on the storefront showcasing individually sized teppan bowls. If you've ever had Korean dolsot bibimbap (hot stone bowl), the teppan rice bowls here totally reminds me of that..except more sizzling. The food here guaranteed will be piping hot if served on the teppan bowl dining in; no idea how this would work as a takeout, I would think you'd lose the experience. We ordered a variety of teppan dishes (beef teppan rice, chicken teppan rice, seafood teppan udon, curry veggie tofu teppan rice), and overall we enjoyed the meal. However, it wasn't perfect, and here is where I'll nitpick a bit: - Flavor/taste: so good initially, but progressively throughout the meal, everything sorta started tasting the same and then the meal became seemingly heavy due to the amount of oil used to keep the food from sticking to the teppan bowls...and also everything was very peppery. - Quality: very good, you can tell quality ingredients are used for the dishes. Perhaps that's why the beef teppan rice is considered the star menu item (great beef!) - Price: a bit on the pricy side IMO...but perhaps you are paying for the quality vs. quantity. Also, pet peeve, but if dining in and paying by credit card, you can only pay via the Clover at the counter, which means they watch you through the transaction as you awkwardly push through the buttons and decide on a tip amount. You become stumped upon the tip percentage screen, because you don't see the amount the percentage is calculated from, so in good faith I tipped 20% for the genuinely pleasant service only to discover that the 20% is based on the total bill that includes the tax (really dislike this). Many businesses calculate tip percentage before tax, which I think makes perfect sense. I really hope this establishment will consider making this adjustment to their POS system. - Ambience and cleanliness: since it's a new establishment, very nice and modern interior, and clean atmosphere. There's also plenty of outdoor seating too in the shared/common space. - Customer service: owners(?) are very friendly and nice, I do wish them great success despite my overall 3-star review. Final thought: it's got potential for improvement, and a vast menu that I'm looking forward to exploring further. I hope to update my review in the near future and add more stars . read more

What a pleasant surprise to find this place. This place just opened over a week ago. The Hamburger Curry Teppan I ordered was delicious. It was suggested by our waiter Jae. Next time I'll order it with egg & cheese like he suggested. We also ordered the baked green mussels and crunchy shrimp roll as our appetizers. The restaurant was clean and the customer service we received from Jae and the manager Christine was exceptional. I'll definitely come back to try the other items on your menu. Oh May I make a suggestion....y'all need to add Hot Green Tea to your menu. read more

1st time trying this place, pretty good but not as great as the original Pepper Lunch! We started with the baked green mussels and they were honestly my favorite dish! So much flavor in the mussels. I ordered the seafood udon and it wasn't the best in my opinion. The udon gets overcooked and ends up tasting burnt. If you don't add the house sauce, it's extremely bland. The seafood on top was good though! We also ordered 3 beef teppan rice with toppings and they were delicious! The only downside is the amount of meat given. We got one plate as the "jumbo" teppan rice and it had the same amount of meat as the regular plates. The toppings are not worth the price - $1.50 for a pinch of cheese and fried garlic - but still very delicious! We lastly got the galaxy tea, strawberry flavored and it was better than expected! We got 2 more on our way out because they were that good. All in all, great place for a quick lunch or dinner if you're on a budget. The service was awesome as well! read more

The food was good. Better than other hot plate place that I've ever had. Love the sauce. Be careful, because the rice was burning hot if you eat right away. I was just hoping the meat could have been more than just few pieces like that. But overall the food taste was excellent. And the service was friendly. read more
