The Mama Mai pizza is a hot mess in a good way with its spicy taste and gooey cheese. The first bite is a tease and the second pulls you into its magic. After the third forget it you lost your diet and will never recover. The spaghetti squash adds a shuttle sweetness that can only be described as delightful. The tomato sauce layered on top cheese and basil is elegance in every bite. The wonderful staff and great prices make this my go to place in Merced. Yesterday I went to Destinos for the first time. I sat upstairs and had a great view of Main Street. The staff was great as was the food. I definitely can't wait to go back. I had been hesitant because some of the reviews on here but I'm glad I went. The food was amazing. Also not pictured we had the fried ravioli and it was the best! All the food was 10/10. Definitely give this place a shot if you haven't. They have indoor seating upstairs and downstairs, bar seating and outdoor patio seating. read more

The service was very slow. Drinks from the bar took at least 30 minutes. Was told that the server couldn't take them because she was underage, so we went and got them ourselves. Took at least 45 minutes to get our food and then they forgot a salad and the ordered bread. Told server separate tags and she forgot. so, trying to separate them afterwards was a mess!! Ended up separating some and then letting one couple pay for the rest. Food was ok tasting, but expensive for what you got!!! They close at 7:30. Two people went out to smoke at 7:20 and they locked them out and had to call us to be let back in. Crappy bday celebration. read more

This place has the best shrimp scampi linguine and appetizers in town. It was a chill environment but service was a bit slow.

If I could give ten stars, I would. Aside from having the best chicken parm I've ever tasted, it is always consistent each and every time. The portion is huge - easily two meals, possibly three. The staff is warm and friendly. Yes, it can get loud so maybe not the place for a quiet meal. The owners are hard-working, caring and a really important part of this community. Got the Destino's Special. The sandwich had a decent amount of meat and I enjoyed the bread. It's crispy on the outside but soft inside. You didn't have to break your jaw to eat it. It did feel a bit plain though. I think it had Mayo and some onions in it. The fries were really good & so was the service! read more

The waitress was very sweet and worked hard keeping up with so many people. My husband and I both had the lunch special with a salad and half sandwich. I tried the roast beef sandwich toasted with an jus sauce and it was amazing!!!! My husband had the salad and the meatball sandwich. TL;DR: Good quality food for the down town area. Shrimp scampi pasta was tasty. The dish had 9 large/jumbo shrimp, and you can change the sauce for a little extra. I tried the white sauce. I liked the sauce, it was creamy, but I felt it could be tastier. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and had a nice lemon garlic seasoning. The pasta came with 2 pieces of garlic bread. You can add a site salad for $3. The side caeser was 2nd visit I tried happy hour. The sliders are $2 and you have a choice of meatball or sausage. I chose meatball. On it was a little sauce, provalone cheese, and onion. The coconut shrimp were tasty the honey goes well with the crunch coconut batter. The bread app was okay, I wish the bread had cheese or a little more sauce. Service: Service was quick and friendly. Other things to note: There's a full bar. Happy hour is from 3pm-6pm. This place is under a new name Destino's. I love their gluten free pizza. The prices are reasonable and the calamari and coconut shrimp are also really good as well. The drinks are okay. I loved the lemon drop. The mojito was another story, it was plain club soda with old limes. The staff were all nice. But when it's busy it is very hard for one person to manage everyone. It's also really hot inside the place. They have fans and I don't think the ac works at all downstairs. The place is nice and fun to meet with friends. read more

I have come here many times over the past years but tonight a waitress with dark blonde hair snapped at my 3 young children twice. My kids are not bad mannered and we're not acting up. It's a busy Friday night and we were not rude because of the delayed wait time. Went here yesterday for dinner. Do not get the spaghetti. Taste like hunts $1 can of spaghetti sauce & it was watery. I took it home and added some seasoning to it. It made it a little better but I was still very disappointed. My husband got chicken parmigiana and it was also watery. He did mention it to the waiter and he gave us a discount and we just added the discount to his tip. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because he was very polite, understanding & wanted to make it right. I think the staff at Destinos in Merced is wonderful! For my first visit there I was very pleased with the outcome. Our server sat us quickly as our friends were already there. I ordered a appetizer of cheese French bread and it was good. I ordered the meatball sandwich and my wife ordered a sandwich also. Her bread was a little burnt for her liking but hers was still okay and mine was very good. I believe our friends really enjoyed there pasta meals but the waitress did accidentally get one of there orders wrong. She did apologize and get it fixed right away though.
