    Pasta salad
    Christopher V.

Was really excited to try The Goods, but I was a little underwhelmed. None of the food was really great. The Mac and cheese was good, but it did not really have much lobster. The pasta salad was very flavorful and all the ingredients worked well together. The sandwich needed more meat. I got it without the olives because I am not a fan, but maybe that is what it was missing to be great. They have a lot of pastas and different breads, so I might go back to try some of the other goods. The service was just okay, it took about 15 minutes to get 2 sandwiches. The restaurant itself is not too big, and it only has 2 tables.

This is such an exciting addition to downtown merced. It feels like an "eataly" here on Main Street. They have items for cooking, fresh bread, flowers, and sandwiches made to order.

I was hesitant because I'm not a huge fan of Bella Luna but this place is incredible! Everything is premium quality and not stuff you can find at most markets. We had the #1 sandwich and it was delicious! I absolutely recommend. I asked a few questions and the staff were helpful and friendly. A really cool asthetic vibe

Friendly service absolutely delicious sandwiches. Seating inside and out front with lively music.

    Rueben.

Ordered a Rueben, sandwich was anemic at best. Lacked sauerkraut, meat was bacon thin and barely covered half the bread. Bread was non toasted- grilled. Had copious amounts of butter? Was just odd and disappointing and our meatball sandwich was fine. After hearing pretty positive things, this was a big disappointment as we were the only ones with an order in at the time.

They stop making sandwiches an hour before they close. Found that both odd and disappointing.

My friend and I were looking for a place halfway to meet. I found these guys on Yelp. Great reviews so I thought we would give it a try. It is a treasure! The place is cute. It's comfy with good oldies playing in the background. The food was amazing and seasoned perfectly. Their Portuguese beans is a family recipe and the best beans I have ever tasted. Biscuits and gravy was delicious. They are homemade and you can taste the love in it. We had the tri tip and like everything else - blown away how tender and flavorful it was. I was out in Merced a little too early for a work meeting, and wanted some coffee, but not a chain place. Lucky me I was actually just down the street from Jenny's bakery. I was warmly greeted as I came in and immediately feel the family charm of this business. Oldies were playing on the radio, and Jenny's husband was getting things ready in the kitchen. When I found out the Portuguese breakfast was her family recipe beans, and a half order of biscuits and gravy, I was set on what I wanted. I was provided an colorful coffee mug and allowed to have coffee to my hearts content. I opted for the holiday blend. It had a lovely hint of spices, but was not overwhelming. I had no longer sat down than my nice pipping hot bowl of Portuguese beans was placed in front of me and I thought it was a half order. They say it's a half order but that is the huge biscuit and with gravy you would need a party of four to finish. The flavor of the beans were just wonderful. I filled myself up on those and then sopped up some of the beans gravy with the biscuits. My taste buds were very happy. My stomach was over full. I enjoyed some banter with Jenny and her husband along with some patrons that came in. They really try to make everyone feel so much like they're just walking into a family kitchen. I highly recommend a stop and introduce yourself and make some new friends and find yourself a lovely bakery. That's been there right around the corner from the park.
