Such a authentic vibe the service was quick and detailed! My daughter loved the sopita they give as a complementary appetizer. The pancakes were sweet, buttery and crispy with that perfect fluff! The sweet potato's were just right with the egg oozing all over the carnitas made a beautiful addition to the flavor. A must go back for lunch/dinner.

I absolutely love this place and I'm obsessed with their toast. I need to find out what butter they use. Super friendly staff and delicious mimosas! The giant mimosa that comes in a fishbowl is of great value. Just make sure you have a DD. Definitely will keep coming back.

tldr; aesthetics and taste are top notch! I came with my mom and a friend on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was pretty much empty. I get it, this is def a brunch place, but we still wanted to try it out. The restaurant has an outdoor patio if you're feeling outdoor vibes. The interior design of the restaurant is really cute, bright, and very floral. I really liked it! After you order, your dishes do come with a complimentary Fidel Soup and Toast. My mom and I absolutely enjoyed it! The menu does have a lot of options: both all-day breakfast and other options. My group ordered the Salmon, the Omelette, and the Chicken Wrap. We all really enjoyed our food and finished all of it. My wrap was fresh and light, and the sauce it came with tied everything really well together. I also ordered a Mimosa (of course, I had to!). There are a few fruity options to choose from. I ended up getting the Strawberry mimosa and loved it. My mom ordered a Macchiato; it looked really good and she has come multiple times to this restaurant just to order it! Galilea was our server and she is such an angel! I definitely recommend coming in if you're craving for a mimosa brunch and some very aesthetically pleasing photo ops!

Great service and amazing food! I live not too far from this place and have always wanted to give it a try. We decided to take my mother here for Mother's Day, and I'll admit, I'm always get a little nervous trying new places with family. But this spot surprised all of us in the best way possible. We each ordered something different, and every single dish was amazing. If you've been thinking about checking this place out, do it you won't regret it!

The huevos rancheros were good. The salsa in this plate is mild tho, I wish it was a little spicy! The margarita was really good, I also tried a Jamaica margarita and it was the bestttt!

Such a lovely breakfast. Loved the atmosphere here. They serve complimentary soup and buttered bread, which was a great delight. The food surpassed expectations and was beautifully plated. Can't wait to go back!

Birthday brunch for my cousin was excellent, starting with being greeted as we walked in. We ordered chicken albondigas (meatball soup) and enchiladas entomatadas (red spicy sauce) with carnitas. One word.....DELICIOUS! The meal started with a cup of Fideo soup, which is included in all meals. Per my cousin, the albondigas were very, very good. The enchiladas with the carnitas was absolutely delicious, not to mention the strawberry mimosa. Mimosas can be ordered with several different flavors. Our server, Lucy, is the best, very friendly, attentive, and was very efficient. She also acknowledged my cousin's birthday with a song and cheesecake! I highly recommend this restaurant..... I wish I would have taken pictures of the food, but once we received it, all thoughts went out the window except for eating the delicious meal!

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but they forgot to put potatoes in my skillet the first time. They fixed it really quick though and it was delicious. The service was great so I will be going back. The food was a 4.5/5 for me.

This restaurant has beautifully designed decor and clean environment. Great service! The hostess was very welcoming and helpful in selecting our breakfast meals. The food was fresh and delicious! We enjoyed everything including the ambiance. Definitely a place to check out for breakfast if you're in the area.

Love this spot Mimosas Cafe! We're vegetarian now and were able to find plenty of great brunch time options. Amazing menu - great service - amazing food and drinks. One of my new favorite spots in North Merced.

We asked if they could do a special order: a burrito deconstructed, with over-easy eggs and the tortillas on the side. They were totally accommodating, and it was exactly what I was craving--fresh, filling, and seriously delicious. I went for the blueberry pancakes, and wow: they were enormous, fluffy, packed with real blueberries, and basically the perfect pre-hike fuel. And the coffee? Amazing, as always. I meant to take a picture of my food, but honestly I accidentally didn't--because everything looked so good that I dug in immediately. And even without the photo evidence, the presentation and plating were incredible, just like they always are. This place has my heart. I'd give it a hundred stars if I could--highly, highly recommend.

Staff here are friendly, there's a solid bit of history and kitsch in the very back on the way to the restrooms, giving character to what is otherwise a decidedly local, low-frills experience. The steak salad (was it a steak taco salad?) looked quite tasty but also ordinary so I skipped it and stuck with breakfast; the sausage and eggs were very much unremarkable, but at least the hashbrowns were nicely pan fried and the eggs were a large portion. Biscuit and gravy reinforced the former impression, but again, hard to complain-- did the job. This place is super affordable and the overall verdict is a solid local place that's easy to appreciate but hard for me to say I would actually get excited about.

The restaurant was not very busy and it took almost 20 mins just to be seated at our table. We then took our place at the table and we waited another 10-15 mins for someone to wait on us. We kindly flagged the young male server there and asked him if he could get our server to assist us. The young female server finally came out to assist us - she was not very welcoming but proceeded to take our drink order. It took almost 15 minutes to get our mimosas and water. She did not greet us, inquiry if it was our first time there or gave us suggestions on the menu. She then proceeded to take our order which took a while to get our food. The plus - everyone enjoyed our meals from the way they were prepared to the ingredients. No one ever came to our table and gave us any water nor did they ask for a refill on our drinks. During this time I peeked around the corner and saw staff just sitting in the back talking to one another. I tried to keep the experience positive for my group of friends but they were also growing concerned about the lack of hospitality. The lunch schedule was only until 2 pm but because of Rainbird's delay in seating us, taking our drink orders as well as the slight delay we felt we were now being rushed to finish our lunch, I also wanted to celebrate our friend's birthday and I brought a cake - the server proceeded to tell me it would be a $5 charge per person if I cut the cake there. She did offer to bring a complimentary dessert for our guest of honor. In my opinion, due to the service we were not receiving the cake fee should have been at least discounted or offset due to the lackluster enthusiasm and service. As we were trying to finish our lunch and take pictures at this beautiful establishment we could see the "side eyes" of staff rushing to get us out the door. I am a firm believer of supporting small businesses in Merced since I was born and raised there and let's face it - Merced has very limited fine dining and we wanted to do something nice for us. In order for small businesses to thrive in this town they need our consumerism to stay in business. As I read from all the exemplary reviews on this platform we unfortunately had a very bad experience with this lovely establishment. A group of us came from Madera so that we could meet our gals from Merced as a middle location. Needless to say we were very disappointed with the service as well as the treatment we received from Rainbird. Next year we will choose another location for our next gathering. Please do better Rainbird.

The line to order was wrapped around inside the shop and out the door. I would say the bagels are 100% worth the wait though. They offer a wide variety of fresh bagels, cream cheeses, and toppings. They even have a sandwich menu! I ordered the Beesting Bagel Sandwich which comes on your choice of bagel with egg, bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and a hot honey drizzle. It was absolutely delicious! The bagels were super soft with a nice crust on the outside. The cream cheese was perfectly thick and creamy. The hot honey drizzle really tied everything together well! Because it was so busy, it did take a while to receive our food. The line to order, although long, did go by pretty quickly. There were some tables inside but it was too crowded to find a spot. Luckily we were able to find a table outside while we waited for our orders. Whenever an order was ready, the workers walked around both inside and outside shouting the name of the order which made it convenient for us to not have to fight the crowd to the counter. The only issue I felt there was was the cleanliness. When you are standing inside, you can quite literally see years of caked on dirt on some of the not frequently touched surfaces. The lamps probably had an inch of dust built up. Although this isn't the most important detail, it still makes me question the cleanliness of the whole establishment. Despite this, I won't be held back from revisiting if I am in the area again!

I wasn't very hungry, so I opted for a bowl of soup with a side of cornbread and a slice of pie to go. The soup was hearty and plentiful. I could have gone for a cup instead, but instead took what I couldn't eat to-go and enjoyed it later. The corn bread was delicious--slightly sweet, and moist enough to not fall apart when I cut into it with my fork. I usually love butter with corn bread, which they offered me, but it didn't need it. I wasn't sure which pie to get-they have so many to pick from. Checking out the options in the bakery case didn't help because they all looked so beautiful. I ended up selecting peach, and it was amazing. The peaches were perfectly caramelized but still maintained their texture. The bake of the pie brought out their ultimate peachiness. The crust was just the right thickness. Even though it was a cold slice, the crust remained flakey. The cafe had ample seating. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Pricing is on the high end, but I'm not sure how much that is because food is so expensive now-a-days. I was a bit surprised to see sandwich combos (with a side) all starting at around $20, and going up from there. It was after 2 in the afternoon, so the bakery had several 50% off boxes of baked goods to select. Four large cookies for I believe $12 or so (I could be wrong). There weren't too many options left in the bakery cases. I would love to see what this place offers when it first opens. Stay tuned for an update once I get that chance.
