Found this spot through Yelp and it did not disappoint!! First off the pancakes are huge. You could easily share them between two people and they let you choose a sauce for the pancakes, whether that's syrup Nutella or condensed milk. The espresso shots were actually really good. I was shocked because they are literally shots of espresso. They are not alcoholic unless you ask for alcohol in them. This spot actually offers complementary soup before your meal. For us Mexicans, it's called Sopa de Fideo. This soup was actually authentic, and it was really flavorful and good and was basically an appetizer to the breakfast. The espresso shots did come with a side of bread. Personally, I'm not a big person on espresso by itself however, these espresso shots were really good! Now the actual service here was great. Our waiter was attentive She was constantly refilling our water cups and she was able to give us recommendations for what to eat. Also I will add her recommendations were spot on. The inside of this restaurant is really aesthetically cute. There's a bunch of green anywhere outside. They have a cute patio area where you can eat. If you decide to do that! Finally gave this place a try and it's a great place for breakfast/brunch. They give you a little cup of sopa de fideo as an appetizer. I got the breakfast skillet with bacon. Boyfriend got the chilaquiles. Then we also got French toast on the side. Everything was delicious and portion sizes are huge. We definitely took leftovers home. Casual ambience and family friendly. tldr; aesthetics and taste are top notch! I came with my mom and a friend on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was pretty much empty. I get it, this is def a brunch place, but we still wanted to try it out. The restaurant has an outdoor patio if you're feeling outdoor vibes. The interior design of the restaurant is really cute, bright, and very floral. I really liked it! After you order, your dishes do come with a complimentary Fidel Soup and Toast. My mom and I absolutely enjoyed it! The menu does have a lot of options: both all-day breakfast and other options. My group ordered the Salmon, the Omelette, and the Chicken Wrap. We all really enjoyed our food and finished all of it. My wrap was fresh and light, and the sauce it came with tied everything really well together. I also ordered a Mimosa (of course, I had to!). There are a few fruity options to choose from. I ended up getting the Strawberry mimosa and loved it. I am impressed with the improvements Mimosas has made over the last several months. I will definitely be back. The first time I went there was right after they opened, the champagne glass was small and only half filled for $10. I could not find anything I wanted to eat; the breakfast options on the menu seemed limited. It seemed more like a Mexican fusion lunch place than a breakfast/brunch place. BUT ... I I went there again recently to give them a second chance and was very pleasantly surprised. The champagne glasses have been upgraded and the mimosas are more generous now. The menu has not changed (that I can tell), but they are more open to substitutions and traditional American breakfast options. The food is excellent, cooked to order, yummy and presented with a gourmet flair. The servers are very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit! And if you visited once previously, and like me weren't sure if it was for you, try again! They might surprise you. read more

We decided to have their verde pozole for the first time. Wow, the broth was absolutely delicious, hominy, chicken and the additional fixings, cabbage, onions, radishes, lemon and hot red sauce. We left the hot sauce out. Hence, it was verde pozole, not Chile verde pozole. All of the waitresses, host were so friendly and welcoming. Excellent customer service. And everyone will appreciate sitting inside or outside. You will enjoy the ambiance of Mimosas Cafe. They do have a huge mimosas drink that can be shared with five to 8 people. Birthday brunch for my cousin was excellent, starting with being greeted as we walked in. We ordered chicken albondigas (meatball soup) and enchiladas entomatadas (red spicy sauce) with carnitas. One word.....DELICIOUS! The meal started with a cup of Fideo soup, which is included in all meals. Per my cousin, the albondigas were very, very good. The enchiladas with the carnitas was absolutely delicious, not to mention the strawberry mimosa. Mimosas can be ordered with several different flavors. Our server, Lucy, is the best, very friendly, attentive, and was very efficient. She also acknowledged my cousin's birthday with a song and cheesecake! I highly recommend this restaurant..... I ordered a latte and French toast. The latte was good, however the French toast left much to be desired. It was soggy and flavorless. The imitation syrup it was served with also lacked any flavor. I had to request some butter but I still only ate 1/4. The tomato soup with spaghetti noodles was an odd pairing and had I known I would have declined it. Service was good and the place is cute. Our server was very helpful. We started off with an Americano and a caramel latte. Wish they had more flavor options for their coffees but they just opened. Went out here for a Sunday brunch, no waiting we got sat right away. The decor was pretty calm ambiance. I loved that there was a kid movie playing on one tv and the other was sports. Now, to the food: I had the chorizo skillet, it was delicious very generous portions. My partner had the breakfast house plate, this one was disappointing, spinach taste like it was not washed, the sweet potatoes had a good taste, HOWEVER some where really undercooked, maybe because they were not diced up evenly, the smaller diced ones were perfectly cooked. I did order a mimosa at the beginning, but they served it to me towards the end, that's only because my partner reminded the waitress I had ordered one. Overall price is good, great portions, taste is there, presentation of food is excellent. They just need to make sure food is fully cooked before sending out.
