I ate here for the first time with some friends last evening. food is really great but....bar drinks are not. Worst tasting margarita I ever had. Tried a glass of wine. They are limited and not in a good way. The cab came out in a stemless glass. Unacceptable. Never cheapen a wine experience, especially when the food is really delicious. Maybe I went on a wrong day and ordered the wrong food. I was excited to try this place because I was craving Italian and saw that this place had pretty good reviews. Ordered the lobster ravioli and was disappointed. Definitely not as flavorful as I thought it would be pretty bland. Nothing special about the sauce and the plate came out barely warm, so it was cold within minutes. I actually looked at the reviews after I had made the visit And saw somebody else had the same experience with the ravioli. So maybe this is not a dish to order here. The ambience is pretty loud very pub like. So I'm thinking, I might try this place again in another occasion maybe on a different day when they aren't so busy either. read more

We were here this weekend with my sister and BIL and I forgot to post. We had a wonderful meal and great service. The lasagna was so good in a zesty red sauce and lots of gooey cheese layers. My sister got salmon, which I tasted as well, and was pleased with the flavor, fresh steamed broccoli, and nothing was over cooked. The guys had some of the staples made in a new way. I didn't know you could ask for a wedge salad tossed or au jus for the Destinos special, but the staff was extremely accommodating and made that happen. It was a great evening out! read more

Very very small portions and staff was unfriendly. It has been a while since I have been there because of Covid and medical issues

On August 19, approximately 11 o'clock I ordered chicken pesto that had no chicken we had to order it separately. Also spaghetti and meatballs which was fairly decent Alfredo chicken broccoli which only had a few pieces in it. The chicken presto was very sticky oily with no flavor and only a few square pieces of chicken. totally disappointed with these meals. I don't know where they get the idea for .2 stars because in my book, I only give them one star just because I got my stomach filled for lunch. Call it what you want make your own judgment, but be truthful about by the way, it was a little bit under $100. read more

I don't usually go to Italian restaurants...I don't know why, it just works out that way. I am gals I went here though, everything was delicious and comfortable. The J Law pizza is very good. A light and crunchy crust and stacked full of several different kinds of meat. If you go here, I would recommend someone at least try this type. I had the lasagna which was real good and tasty. The garlic bread is good also. The wife and friend had the shrimp scampi linguine, that said it was very good. The drinks were very good also. Another friend had the roast beef sandwich and said it was average...might have been an off day for him. We are all going to go back and try different things. In a prime location, it was absolutely beautiful outside and the patio was perfect for people watching and just being outdoors in general. I will say that the flies were annoying but there's not much to be done about that. Our waitress was really sweet and helped us choose from 3 pasta dishes we had in mind. We started with the beer battered cheese bites with their homemade "meat sauce" (which contained no meat?) but was really tasty and a side of ranch and a lemon drop martini. Both were wonderful. We followed that up with the Grande Bianco Lasagna which was to die for. Overall slightly pricey for the portions but I'd say worth it for the nice location and awesome food. read more

The food at Destino's is so hit and miss. Last time the Destino's special was delicious. This time I got a marghreta pizza, cheese bread and pannini pesto sandwich with sidewinder fries. cheese bread was okay. The crust for both the Pizza and cheese bread tasted as if it is frozen crust and not fresh. The marinara Sauce tasted like jar sauce. The pannini sandwich had a smear of pesto sauce. The best pizza and hot sandwiches in Merced for us. Their hot French dip steak sandwiches are wonderful. The au jus it comes with sandwich to dip should not be wasted. So tasty. Very very good vegan pizza. The dough is delish. I got it with the impossible sausage but preferred it without. The bruschetta was yummy too. Fries were nothing special. My best friend got the spaghetti and meatballs and said it was great. Our waiter was vegan which was rare, so he was very informative for me. My inlaws live in Atwater so I plan to visit again. Another bomb meal by Destinos. Papa Pinoke without mushroom was delicious. Super flavorful. Destinos pizza has become my new favorite pizza. Im a Mountain Mikes guy, and a Little Oven lover. But Destinos pizza has risen to the top. The beer battered cheese bites are on point. The kids love the butter rigatoni. My only two nitpicks are the cream sauce can be a little bland sometimes. Ranch dressing was delicious! Overall it was a good restaurant can't rate the others as they weren't my dishes but every seems satisfied besides my coworker with the salmon salad-she mentioned it just didn't pair well together.
