I am not sure why this place says closed, but I went over last Thursday and it was opened. Hours vary, but usually close at 9 pm. The service is fast and friendly. I would call ahead if anything. I ordered an Oreo banana crepe and it was amazing! They have games and a medium size seating area. It can be fun while you wait. read more

ALL THE STARS AND RECOMMENDATIONS. I am ashamed we didn't try this place sooner. Great selection of a WHOLE bunch of yummy things. I didn't know where to start, so we quite literally ordered many things of everything. -Boba Teas -crepes -smoothies -Ramen and rice bowls (they had a note that they are not doing hot pots anymore) -smoothies -ice cream -misc other delish desserts We went in right before they closed. The staff was pleasant, and the service was quick. They helped to answer all my "what does that come with" questions, and we loved all the foods we ended up picking. Side note, the leftovers even tasted good rewarmed. The seating area was limited but cute. There is even a spot to take pictures. We will definitely be back. read more

We were craving something sweet after dinner, this place is open late so it was an easy decision. That, and my honey and his daughter raved about this place when they came here. Of course I trust their judgement, but had to try for myself- they were right. I got a taro sago and bf got the coconut sago, both are delicious! I will be coming here again so I can try the crepes. The place is pretty big with lots of seating areas and the chairs are pink and so cute! They also decorate for photo op spots. My kids love coming here for desserts and drinks. We've always had good service. Lately I've been enjoying their hot pot. There's 4 different varieties. So.. Sno... We tried you a while back. As one of the very few Asian dessert/boba/ramen establishment. It's good I waited to review you because when I first moved to Merced my palate was painted (spoiled?) by Asian food from the Bay Area and even before that from the heart of LA. In other words I would have high expectations and given out poor reviews. But now that I've been here for a bit, my perspective have changed. My expectations were lowered. My appreciation for any Asian food has heightens. What my friends back there May say is meh, I say, hey not bad! heh Long story short I am more easily pleased. Anyhow your desserts are good in that it's unique to Merced. Shaved ice. Can't get them in other places. Boba.. so limited options nearby. Ramen is hard to come by too. Not the best I've tried by a mile but again in Merced it's good and a nice escape when wanting some Asian fix Keep doing what your doing. read more

This place will always be my favorite for drinks. The only complaint I have is that it feels like a sauna in here. Customers come to buy drinks, shaved ice, and cold treats to cool down during this heat wave yet the AC isn't on. Please reconsider this for your next customers. read more

I love their crepes and boba but DO NOT recommend the honeycomb dessert, it wasn't worth the price and wasn't that good, that's the only reason I gave a 4 star review. Oh this place is awesome! We came here for my Birthday and planned to get dinner and dessert. When we first arrived we were immediately greeted by Jasmine, the cashier. She is super friendly and did an amazing job at helping us order. Honesty it's been a while since I've seen someone with such great customer service and she was great! First time coming here, it was overwhelming with all of the different dessert choices. Jasmine did an amazing job at recommending different stuff and helped us choose what we eventually got. She also went above and beyond with her customer service for us which we really appreciated. The service was also super quick and got our food pretty fast. We ordered the Kimchi hot pot and for dessert we got the macarons party toast. We will definitely be back to explore their other menu options! read more

They have great portions and real good food here! If you were here before they remodeled, I say give it another chance because they are for sure better now! I really like their food, and this is the only place in Merced where I have found hot pot and Korean food! Only thing that is weird is that they use plastic forks and spoons and bowls which I think is not very good especially when eating the hot pot. read more

I absolutely love the butterfly pea tea with the lychee. It's so good. Also the kimchi hot pot is fire. It's so filling too. My friend and I shared one and we were both full. Restaurant is trendy. Nice chairs and decor. Get the menu, sit, decide, and order at the front. Wasn't sure what to get so I asked the cashier what she recommends. Ended up ordering the Taro oreo milk tea and the matcha ice cream green tea (popular apparently). Cashier, Jin, was super friendly and nice. Her choice and opinion in recommendations were honest and real. Thank you Jin! Taro oreo milk tea- really good. Gives me an oreo Mcflurry taste somehow lol Matcha ice cream green tea- taste of green tea is strong and the ice cream slowly melted inside and was super thick. Also ordered the banana crepe w/green tea ice cream for $5.75. For some reason it was given in a to-go box, which made it difficult to eat inside. Overall pretty good. Basic crepe. This is by far the best ramen and udon place in Merced and as a bonus they have amazing drinks. Their spicy Tonkatsu Udon is my go to order as well as their mango or lychee mojito(non-alcoholic) and it satisfies my cravings every time. Everything has great flavor and meets expectations. Service is very friendly and are efficient when it comes to bringing out the food and drinks. The sitting area is cute and great for a date or hangout with friends. Their desserts are also great. Only Con is that they changed their tiramisu and it's not as good as the old version. read more

Pretty much 3.5 stars. The front is kind of weirdly designed-- there's no reception area, so if you're getting something to-go you'll need to stand around awkwardly if there are no tables available-- but the decor is all new, clean, and comfortable. Milk teas are great. Wish there was a smaller-sized option for tea, but w/e. Food I would be picky about- when eating there, I saw a table that had ordered two huge plates of their toast desserts walk out without having finished even half of them. I ordered the Hawaiian waffle, which was overall tasty, but had a sweet batter that had what seemed to be sugar pearls inside of it?? It was also plated with two sweet sauces alongside... slices of ham... i don't even. However, I did eat the entire thing so w/e. I ultimately enjoyed it. Parking is ample. $10 min w/ credit card. I went in and ordered an iced taro milk tea and it was super slimy!!! I thought it needed to be mixed and continued to sip it. On my third sip I was so disgusted I tossed it! Other than the disappointment I didn't think much of it and 10 minutes later I started feeling nauseous and light headed. Completely waste!!!!! read more

This place is really cute. They offer a variety of desserts and drinks. We ordered the strawberry crepe with green tea ice cream and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't overwhelming and the sweetness was just right. I Personally love matcha and anything green tea so I also gave their hakaido matcha latte a try and I was very pleased with it as well! Green tea shaved snow tasted so icy, I'd rather eat green tea ice cream than this. It was ordered with condensed milk and they forgot to put it on top, so they brought it on the side a few minutes later - I don't want to dip a liquid in another liquid though. They need more servers/host. There was literally one girl going around welcoming people, seating them, and taking orders. And she had to do some cleaning up too. read more

This has been here for years now and they've made many menu changes over the years and with new owners. My overall experience here has been pleasant and good. There was this one instant where I came with my friend an hour before closing and they only offered drinks, but that was with the previous owner. The menu was a little overwhelming (the default drink is that they let you pick multiple flavors and I didn't want to risk messing up my own order), so I went with one of their specialty drinks, the Caramel Camel. I set the sugar level to light, yet it reached a level of sweetness that was so intense that I had to get it redone. Even with an ever lighter level of sweetness, it still tasted excessively sweet. Overall, an interesting experience. If this is the best that Merced has to offer, I feel kind of bad for everyone in Merced for not having access to better drinks. Not sure if I'd get the chance to return as I don't normally go to Merced, but on the off-chance I end up in this area again I'd hope that maybe one of their other drinks was better.

The aisles of the market nearly block the counter to this little kitchen. It's the neon sign of "The Papaya Lady" buzzing that guides you to the back. We came in the late afternoon on a Saturday and they were already out of the fried chicken and sticky rice (next time!). We ended up ordering: Papaya Salad (extra spicy) - The little peppers in this gave the dish a nice kick. Super refreshing on a hot day. Nam Khao (crispy rice lettuce wrap with pork skin) - I highly enjoyed this one with all the crunchy textures and flavors. Will 100% get again. Khao Poon (noodle soup) - This broth had a subtle peanut flavor which was delicious. Wished it had more toppings. Nam Vanh (tapioca drink) - My drink seemed to lack the other jellies that I saw in other pictures and only had the lil tapioca balls, sweetener and coconut milk. It felt like it was missing something for sure. The owner is so nice and friendly. I don't know if it's a psychological thing, but every time he acknowledged or spoke to me, he used my name. It just felt automatically more warm and welcoming lol The price per portion is also legit. You get so much for what you pay. Our order kept me and the SO fed for almost 3 days. So nice to have some good Asian food in the Central Valley. Will definitely be back!

Let me just start by saying that I really like this place. The drinks are great and I really like the interior design. The cashiers and waitresses are also really nice and efficient in answering my questions and getting what I need as well. The only reason why Im giving this place 4 instead of 5 stars is because i came here with my kids a couple times and sat outside, and everytime, I see the men wearing their snocrave shirts sititng right outside the store smoking. "Section 5148 of the California Code of Regulations prohibits smoking in workplace". It is a health hazard for the general public, especially for my children. There were a lot of used cigarettes under their chairs too. I really hope they go somewhere far away from the building and hope that they wash their hands before returning to work. Other than that, I will be returning, but will be sitting inside next time. read more

We came right at 2pm, when they open. Seemed to me like they were not ready to open, staff was late and chairs and stuff was still not in it's place. When I decided to order, half the stuff I wanted they did not have anymore - then why have it on your menu if it's not available at all?! Despite all that, the crepes and smoothie I ordered were delicious and this place has a great ambiance. I would go again, maybe later in the evening when they are more ready for customers. read more

This place has gotten worse over time. Their service is extremely slow and the staff seems to not even care about time. When they first opened they were a cool spot for drinks and snacks; now they cut back and things are not the same. I wanted to grab tiramisu and it didn't look nothing like the picture. I'm not sure why the hell they are advertising something if it won't include everything like in the picture. I won't come here ever again! read more

So much hype but the brick toast was just subpar especially considering it took so long for them to make (server told us it would be a 20-30 min cook time). If you're a huge fan of desserts this place might blow you away. They had board games which was cool, some knockoff version of jenga. I had a fantastic experience at this boba place The black milk tea with boba was delicious and just what I was craving. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my visit even more enjoyable. I also appreciated the fair prices, making it a great value for the quality of the drinks. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere here at night. It's so chill. Great music, great service, great food and drinks. By far the best overall boba shop I've tried in Merced. Service is of course a tad bit slower during rush hours, but then again, what place isn't. I lithe boba us chewy and delicious. Prices are reasonable for the huge portions you get. No complaints.
