Everything! Last month I enjoyed dinner here with while catching up with a long "lost" old friend. I ordered something delicious off the dinner menu. I can't remember what it was, but I know that he had the pasta. And we shared the calamari and it was absolutely delicious! The service was amazing, and everyone here feels like family. They greet you at the door they treat you like, you're a cousin that came over for dinner, and the vibe here is always amazing. Whether you come for lunch or dinner or happy hour, you'll always be welcome and greeted with a smile. A couple of weeks ago I came here for early lunch and I enjoyed their pizza and side salad. I love meat pizza, and I added pineapple and jalapenos and it was absolutely fire!!! I had to take half of the pizza to go, because I already filled up on the salad and then I enjoyed the rest of the pizza for my dinner at my hotel and it was perfect. This time I enjoyed their pastrami sandwich and a cup of soup and salad and all I can tell you is that homemade ministry soup was the best soup. I have ever had. I highly recommend it!! I had to take the sandwich to go, because I filled up on the soup and the salad, which worked out perfect for my evening dinner. I love that the owner Tessa no, is her customers by name and treats them like they are coming over for lunch or dinner at her home. The staff that work at the bartender are amazing. They make you feel like family as they greet. You, when you walk in whether you sit in their area or not, everyone is welcome with a hospitable vibe that you don't see or feel just anywhere. That's a shout out to Andrew and Nikki! And when I had lunch with the pizza and the salad, I was able to meet the manager Amanda, she is so humble and kind and she has worked there for quite a while working her way up to the position that she is in now, and I love her leadership style and that she is a total team player! I also want to give a shout out to the people who cook in the back. I know one of the days. It was Aiden, and another day, someone who served my lunch also made the soup that morning, so this is a shout out for Madison, and Rudy for being behind the scenes, making the magic happen in the kitchen. I love love pizza and been wanting to try this place for awile. It's located square in the middle of quaint downtown Merced. It was my first time there and it's a small yet spacious little spot with upstairs area to boot. I was greeted on arrival and the service was friendly and helpful. I had the coconut shrimp which is always on my radar to try and they didn't disappoint. I tried the Torino white sauce pizza with chicken minus the bacon (i don't eat pork) and added bbq sauce and pineapple because I read it on one of the yelp reviews and it sounded good, it was. I was very pleased. It's definitely worth the short trip from Modesto to try it out. Pro tip: there is parking behind the building which will be much easier to find parking. read more

In personal experience Food too pricey and the service not so good. I tried after work and I wearing my work clothes. Destino's is always a very solid choice. One of the better Italian casual restaurants in the entire Central Valley. Service is always welcoming and friendly. Food is consistent..the rigatoni was simple but good. Could have used fresh ground pepper but still really good. Always a safe bet. Great for small or large groups. We had family in town the other day and we all popped into Destino's for pizza and drinks. Perfect! Easy, fun, affordable. Delicious food with a great atmosphere! There is construction going on around downtown, but don't worry they are still open. The chicken was perfectly crispy, yet still juicy. The sauce on the chicken was full of flavor. It came with pasta, but that one did lack some flavor. The service was great and the food was out within 15 minutes. We recently had lunch here and they definitely serve big portions. We saw really great reviews so we decided to come here. As soon as we walked in, you can tell right away that the service was gonna be great. We were greeted with friendly faces and happy servers. Once we were seated I noticed several tables and seating upstairs too. We sat downstairs but the servers were really on point with waiting on all the tables up and down stairs. The place is really cute. It's warm and welcoming. If you're in the area and looking for a nice place for lunch or dinner then you should check this Italian restaurant out. A mixed bag review here. The staff was super friendly and efficient. We walked in 15 minutes before closing but was still encouraged to come in and enjoy. Oktoberfest beers were ice cold and delicious. The chicken salad was made to perfection and so large it couldn't be finished. That's the good stuff. I ordered the Oktoberfest special and it was terrible. The bratwurst was not bratwurst in my opinion. This tasted like a jalapeño spiced Italian sausage that just didn't go. My boyfriend and I love coming here for our date night whenever we can. He always gets the margarita pizza, which is absolutely delicious, it always comes out hot and always has such great flavor. I also really appreciate that the crust is cooked through and crunchy, but not overcooked or burnt. I always get the Shrimp Scampi Linguine. It is absolutely delicious, if that was my last meal then I'd be happy to have eaten that. The flavor is so wonderful, the noodles are cooked perfectly every single time. I love that it comes with a piece of garlic bread and that is delicious as well, it has great seasonings and matches perfectly with the pasta spices and flavors in the pasta. The first time I got the pasta, the waiter mentioned he added the alfredo sauce in it, and I refuse to get the pasta without that alfredo sauce in it. One of my all-time favorite dishes here. Appetizers we've had: Bruschetta, Beer Battered Cheese Bites, Fried Cheese Ravioli. The Bruschetta is delicious, the bread is crunchy and the tomato toppings have great flavor just from themselves, and it's the perfect amount of balsamic vinegarette that doesn't empower anything but simply adds to the flavor of it all. The Beer Battered Cheese Bites are wonderful! The crunch of them is perfect, and the side of marinara sauce it comes with has such great flavor with the seasonings in it. My boyfriend could die for the Fried Cheese Ravioli. Absolutely delicious! Every time we've been here, the wait staff have been so wonderful with making sure that we're taken care of. One thing that matters most to me when eating at a restaurant, is how well the waiter/waitress can take care of making sure our drinks don't stay empty for too long and we've never had this problem here. First time going there won't be my last! Tried the garlic bread & the garlic bread pizza which were both delicious, but my favorite was the garlic bread pizza. I also ordered the Verona pizza it was delicious as well but the Italian sausage on it was very bland no flavor to it.. wanted to try almost everything on the menu had a lot of good selections can't wait to go back & try other dishes! They did change their prices from the previous menus it got a little pricier. I like the location it was located with other little shops & restaurants. The inside of the restaurant was nice it's like a little Italian pizza shop on the bottom & on top was bigger. Our server was very friendly good service with everything.
