Trust me...book them for your wine touring in Paso Robles (PR)! At the suggestion of my cousin, who lives in PR, we booked them for our touring. We were so happy we did...everyone should. Based on our first winery our driver, Billie, realized the more boutique wineries were what we would love. Billie was exactly right! We will be back next September for my bday and definitely book Destination Drivers, requesting Billie again. She made our day special by giving us tidbits about PR and the wineries we toured. We loved chatting with her. She even baked us cookies to go along with our cheese boxes which was very sweet of her, we loved them. We can't wait to come back next year and use the services of Destination Drivers and Billie. Thank you Billie for treating us so great on my birthday. read more

Destination Drivers - Wine Tours Near Me

We had Wayne as a driver he was fantastic. Definitely use them again, highly recommend

We had Tara and she was so fantastic. She knew her way around and she drove very well. Nice and smooth and courteous. It is the way to go in wine country. Sean wrote to me very shortly after I booked and confirmed everything and then sent a reminder again a few days before. Great communication. read more

our search for wine tour led us to Destination Drivers. Communication and arrangements done with ease. Sean made recommendations as did our outstanding driver, Roland. We cannot say enough about Roland. Professional, took all safety precautions, even surprised us with home-made cookies after our lunch. We took him up on all his recommendations and was delighted with each one. read more

This is such an amazing service. Besides the safety issue which is quite important, the drivers are so knowledgeable and professional. Not only are all of the drivers accommodating, they have wonderful recommendations for wineries, restaurants etc. This is my third time using Destination Drivers and they never disappoint. read more

Sean was fantastic! He called me very soon after I emailed an inquiry. He was very accommodating, as we weren't exactly sure which wineries we wanted to visit until the day of our tour. He was great about confirming a day or two before and was just very easy to reach and pleasant to deal with. The day of our tour he arrived a few minutes early, which was great. He was super professional and knowledgeable, able to answer questions about the area in general and about specific wineries. He offered us cold water and tried to always park the car in the shade on a hot day. Once we decided which wineries we wanted to visit, he was great about planning the order of the visit to be most time efficient. He even recommended at which winery to stop and picnic. It was perfectly shady and pleasant spot on a hot day. Kudos to Sean and Destination Drivers! I will definitely use them again! read more

The best way to tour wine country. We loved being in our our own car driven by our guide. Sean not only was our driver but our concierge for the day. Keep the roads safe while touring the vineyards with a designated driver. Make the visit even better by booking Destination Drivers! read more

Sean at Destination Drivers took our wine country trip from great to EXCELLENT! The recommendations for wineries, food etc were all wonderful. It was amazing to just relax and enjoy each stop without worrying about drinking and driving or even keeping track of time. Sean had waters after each stop and let us go at our pace with simple heads up when we needed to move on for our next reservation. We never felt rushed. Plus he is a great photographer and now we have dozens of photos to preserve the memories. read more

Destination Drivers - Best wine trip ever! - Wine Tours Near Me

We booked our day with destination drivers about 5 days prior to our trip. First class service from the ease of booking and initial contact to discuss the expectations, during the actual experience with our driver, and all the way to the end of our day as we wrapped up our 4th winery. Deneen was such a pleasant guide and truly made our experience even better. She suggested some excellent wineries and was so patient and kind all day long. We will absolutely be booking another day with DD and requesting Deneen in the future. read more

Jamal was excellent. He went above and beyond and made our experience a great one. We would definitely use this service again.

Wayne was amazing and made our trip !! He arranged wine tastings where we could not, made lunch reservations, and even did a few CVS runs while we were sipping our wine. He was fun and easy to be with, flexible with our schedules and all around awesome!!! Wayne is hands down the best driver ever!!! read more

I surprised my wife with a trip to Paso Robles this past weekend to celebrate her 40th birthday. It was our first time visiting the area, and we wanted to tour some of the wineries and do some tasting. I searched for wine tours online, but because I was trying to book something last minute on a Saturday, couldn't find one that would work for us. I found Destination Drivers on Yelp and decided to give them a call based on the good reviews they received. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone was very helpful and said he would make some calls to find us a driver for the hours we wanted. Our driver, Michael, showed up on time at our hotel and drove us around several wineries on the west side of Paso Robles. He was very polite and professional, and we had a great time. In fact, we initially planned on hiring a driver for only four hours, but we were having such a great time that we ended up riding around with Michael for almost six hours. I would highly recommend Michael and the Destination Drivers service to my friends and I think it is well worth the expense to have a truly safe, enjoyable wine tasting experience. Reminder, they only accept cash, and don't forget to tip your driver if you feel they provided you with great service! read more

Destination Drivers - Cheers! - Wine Tours Near Me

Amazing service. Our driver Steve was awesome and made our trip so much fun and entertaining

We were so excited to find Destination Drivers for our recent girls weekend up in Paso! We had Dylan as our driver and he went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable. He gave us great recommendations and was able to take us to a new winery we had never been to before that we ended up loving! We can't recommend Destination Drivers more and cannot wait to use them again on our next trip! read more

This service is a godsend for wine tasting safely in Paso! Our driver Christina was very friendly, professional and helpful. She had great recommendations for wineries, eateries and even photo opps! Would definitely recommend! read more

This is an awesome service and so worth it to know you are safe and sound. Sean was our driver and made the day great. We had snacks and water and he knew the best places to go. We did the Santa Inez Los Olivos areas and it was memorable. read more

Roland rocks! We expected a driver but got much more. He was also our personal photographer at the wineries, an organizer by keeping us on track with our reservations, and kind enough to bring us waters and homemade cookies. He was easy to get in touch with via text and was a lot fun to talk to. Highly recommend read more

Ask for Billie!!! She was amazing. Very knowledgeable, super friendly, knows the area, is a local, and as we learned....is a jack of all trades. She got to know us as we chatted on the way to our first winery and recommended wineries that perfectly matched up with who we are and what we like from there. She also knows a lot of the winery owners and employees at different wineries and it makes the whole experience really warm and enjoyable. I am absolutely coming back to Paso and I will definitely be requesting Billie! Do yourself a favor and use her. read more

Planned a last minute wine tasting trip for a birthday and needed a driver! The pricing was great and our driver was beyond amazing! Michael drove us to some of his favorite wineries and was very knowledgeable. He made the day even more fun for all of us! He was on time and so friendly, would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a driver through Paso Robles! read more

Wayne was fantastic! He was fun, informative, knowledgeable, and a safe driver. We felt completely comfortable.

My two high school besties and I went on our first trip to Paso Robles this past weekend! We did not want to Uber/Lyft it everywhere so we decided to go with Destination Drivers. SO glad we did! We love that Destination Drivers provides a driver that drives your own car making the trip super comfortable. Our driver was Deneen, and she was beyond fantastic! At first, I was a little nervous to have someone else drive my car, but Deneen was super friendly and calm. Also, she had great driving skills! Deneen was extremely knowledgeable about the are. We did two days with her- one day in East PR, the other day in West PR. We told Deneen what we were looking for and which wineries were a MUST, and she helped plan our whole itinerary! She was very professional and easy to get a long with. We HIGHLY recommend her. I can't say enough good things. The cost is very reasonable and is listed on their website. If you're ever in PR, look into Destination Drivers. They will make your trip stress free and worthwhile! read more

I was nervous about having someone else drive my car, but after this weekend, I'm happy to do it again. Our driver this past weekend was Pat. He's knowledgeable about the area and drove my car with care. To top it off, we got cookies! You'll have to request Pat next time in town for the secret recipe. We drove ourselves the next day and missed having someone who knew where the vineyards were, along with a little history about the area. He also carried our packages, dropped us off at the front entrance of each winery, and took photos of us at each stop. The security and peace of mind of having someone take care of you was worth every penny. I recommend Pat C. and Destination Drivers for your Paso Robles "vinoventures"! read more

Roland with destination drivers was fantastic! I felt completely comfortable with him driving our car for a day of wine tasting in Paso Robles. I had planned a tight and packed schedule. He kept us on time, coming into the tasting room to take our purchases to the car and get us on the road. He even brought us homemade gluten free oatmeal chip cookies...yum! I would definitely use destination drivers again! read more

This was a last minute hire as we did not plan on a tour. Sean followed up with us the next day to give us advice on our plans. David was our driver, and was awesome. Really great service all around, and would highly recommend. read more

What a brilliant idea and great experience! Drove up to Paso Robles for the Labor Day weekend and we all know in wine country no one wants to drive. This is where destination drivers comes in. For just 35/hr you get a driver who will come to your hotel and meet you then drive you to all the vineyards your heart desires. We were lucky enough to have Baxtor driving us for the day and he was awesome. Not only did he take us to the places that were on our list, he drove us to places we never would have known of based on our tasting preferences. I can honestly say that some of our favorites happened to be ones that he took us to and recommended. While driving, Baxtor also taught us about the region and how wine was developed. He was full of knowledge about the area and gave us histories on the vineyards as well. Too top all of this off, the dude gave us some of the best cheeses, salamis and salt crusted bread to indulge in as we drank. He also went above and beyond by playing with my dog at some vineyards while I went in to get my drink on (what a great dog owner I am). Hiring destination drivers means getting someone with inside knowledge, someone who has connections at the vineyards to help you bypass crowds, someone who will take all the pictures you may want and who feeds you! I can understand now why some rich people buy friends; it's cause those friends are just the best to have! All kidding aside, we were able to visit 11 vineyards (our goal was 5) and that's only possible because we had someone who knew the area, who knew their wines and who started to know us. I'll never go wine tasting without them again. read more

Loved Destination Drivers and will definitely recommend! We had Dana as our driver....he picked us up in San Luis Obispo and took us to the most amazing wineries in Paso Robles! Dana was super knowledgeable and accommodating! Great company which I will definitely use again! read more

This review is from the stand point of a tasting room attendent at a local winery. I would have to say that Sean and his company are top notch. When ever Destination Drivers guests are coming into the tasting room they seem to always be having the best time. The drivers always pull the vehical up to the front door, open the door for there guest and escourt them to the bar and introduce them to us. This is great for alot of reasons but most importantly it gives us the oppertunity to give the best customer service possible to you, the customer. Alot of times, DD (destination drivers) will call us up ahead of time and let us know you are coming that way we can set up a private or semi private tasting as well as take you on a tour or the vineyards or barrel room. All and all, DD is a fantastic company and I love seeing them and there guest come into the tasting room. Great job Destination Drivers team! read more

I would highly recommend this service! This was perfect for our couples wine trip. We stayed in Santa Barbara and spent 2 days in wine country (Foxen Canyon Road, Los Olivos, Buellton, and Lompoc). Sean was our driver, very friendly, always had a bottled water waiting for us in the car, and brought this delicious salted bread (Yum!), cheese, meat, and snacks for us between wineries. Since there were 4 of us, we had rented a large SUV from Enterprise and to add Sean on to our contract was super easy and no fuss -- he went to Enterprise the day before and used my rental number to add himself on, I just had to call to verify. For just $35 per hour (we used about 8 hours each day) it was well worth it, especially since we had particular wineries and tasting rooms we wanted to visit and our plans changed as the day progressed. A lot of the wine tour companies were $125 per person and only visited certain wineries, which wasn't what we wanted. We will definitely be using them again and will recommend them to any of our friends visiting Santa Barbara or Paso Robles! Thank you! read more

Ok yelpers! Googled "Drivers, wine tours, Paso Robles." Made three phone callas to various companies listed. After speaking with different companies who offer drivers to take you around the wide selection of the best wineries in California, I felt the most comfortable with Destination Drivers. Why? First, Sean was polite, spoke clearly to me on the phone and repeated back to me exactly what I was asking for. When we arrived in Paso, our driver Billy was on time and ready to serve with a friendly smile and upbeat attitude which put me at ease immediately. He was suggesting different wineries on our list to go to without imposing on our mood. He made appointments for us and diverted easily when (as women we do this) changed our minds! What a shocker! Bonus that he was easy on the eyes ladies! We throughly enjoyed his relaxed professionalism, felt safe with him driving and knew we were in good hands. He even brought us a cheese, meat and cracker tray to enjoy later in the day. The entire experience was awesome because of him being there to provide a relaxing day of wine tasting without the worry of figuring out which damn direction to go! 5 stars!! read more

Awesome driver Billie, will ask for you again. Thank you for a perfect wine tasting!!!

5 star service all the way! Our driver Pat was amazing! And really treated us awesome and went above and beyond to make us feel special. Even went and picked up more wine for us while we tasted at last winery. And we had 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog and he didn't mind. (I think) lol! I would recommend them 100%. Plus it's safer to have someone drive while you taste. read more

Sean is a consummate professional. He's so kind and accommodating. I booked the wrong day on Friday instead of Saturday, on the Zin Festival weekend of all times too, but he adjusted and worked with our revised schedule at the last minute. I would love to use him and Destination Drivers again. I'd gladly recommend this service to anyone wine tasting anywhere they serve in California. read more

I used this service over the weekend for my Paso Robles trip and I must say it was a wonderful experience. When I first made the booking, I spoke with Sean and he was a pleasure to work with. Very personable guy, who helped me plan my trip. My driver Denise, I have nothing but great things to say about her. She constantly checked up on me during my tastings and made sure the car was ready as soon as I was done. Using this service you will save a lot of money compared to a driver who provides their own car. It's nice to be in the comfort of your own vehicle and be able to taste without worrying about limiting yourself. read more

Best and safest idea ever! $35 bucks an hour for this service and 11 wine Tastings in about 5 or so hours. Meh I dunno how long it took, the day was a blur. But from what I do remember, hit more vineyards than we expected, didn't need a map, didn't have to wait in lines and got primo wine tasting tables and service everywhere we went. Everyone in town knew our driver Baxtor so we were treated well. Not only did we have an excellent driver, we had a tour guide that gave us the ins and outs as well as some history on Paso. Baxtor also doubled as our dog sitter and our camera man. Impeccable service all the way through! My only regret is not discovering this service sooner. read more

Sean was an absolute pro. We hired him to drive 6 of us around in our own car, an expensive 8 passenger SUV in Santa Ynez valley and Buellton in April 2018. I had no concern about what a good driver he was nor did I have any concern for the vehicle as he was an excellent driver. This was a business trip with some close friends. A good blend of good times and getting some business done. Sean was very knowledgable of the area and recommended some things that weren't on our initial list. If you are a group of 2, or a group of 8, this is the way to go. So much better than a taxi service / uber, etc. Opened the doors, carried wine we purchased, had the car waiting, took photos and was just a total pro. Can't wait to do it again. read more

Daneen and Anne were the best! They took such good care of us. On time and great tour guide commentary while getting us to our various destinations. They even helped us get situated once at the wineries to be sure the hostess had our reservations correct, etc. it was great having locals take you around. The roads in Paso are a little crazy sometimes and our group of 12 was glad we had competent drivers. Highly recommend. Not much service in the area. So Uber isn't an option FYI if u are hoping to not drive while wine tasting. Plan ahead and hire them. read more

Used Destination Drivers just this weekend and they took the BEST care of us. We called them at the last minute on a busy weekend (Mid-state fair going on) and they had a driver over to our hotel within the hour!!! Christine, our driver, was FANTASTIC. We needed recommendations for great wineries and she took us to three amazing wineries -- Duji, Treana and Tobin James. Something for all 7 of us to love. We were a handful and Christine rolled with us like one of the gang. She even drove us to dinner after, which we needed after spending the day at wineries (:-)) Thanks DD for a magical day -- can't thank you enough!! Suzy read more

What a great experience! Wayne went above and beyond with our Paso trip. Will definitely be back and be calling him again!

This is a perfect way to go wine tasting - service was superb and affordable. Our driver Wayne was awesome and an extra highlight to the day! He was friendly, offered to take photos of us, brought water and arrived right on time. We also felt safe given Covid as we all wore masks, had windows down and Wayne brought cleaning supplies for the car. We will definitely be using Destination Drivers again. read more
