And God forbid any paying customer -- solo or not -- has a problem with a wine tour, for we can see the level of cordiality, care, and accountability they'll encounter *** The Wine Line discriminates against solo travelers and refuses to do business with them unless you agree to a hefty solo supplement -- for a shared tour! I was once a happy repeat customer, but when trying to book last year, a representative told me, word for word (see emails in photos), this: "We are currently not servicing single passengers due to the work required... your patronage is simply untenable, financially." Wow, my patronage is simply untenable. That's straight up greed with a dose of haughty nastiness. I've never heard anything like that before, ever, from any business, and I've dealt with some truly awful and shady businesses before. Also: want to bring your pup along? No more, and especially if you are traveling solo with one: "It's just a bit burdensome and financially a loss to accommodate a single... particularly with a dog." Wow, we're a bit burdensome too. This policy and this attitude is the opposite of the welcoming spirit I experienced from them before. If they're comfortable sidelining solo guests, I can't help but wonder what other corner-cutting decisions, surcharges, and greediness now lurks behind the facade they project on Yelp and on their website. I truly regret having given them a glowing review in the past. To anyone who heeded my previous advice and ended up deceived, I apologize. Avoid. Everything worked as they said it would! We started our tour at Eberle and really enjoyed our cave tour and wine samples. We went to two other vineyards ( we thankfully ordered box lunches!) and enjoyed them, too. Our driver delivered us back to our motel. This is my second time using The Wine Line. And once again, they did not disappoint. My friend and I did a semi-private wine tour during which we visited Steinbeck (a hidden gem!), Naps Rail, and Paris Valley Road wineries. We opted for 3 wineries instead of 4 so we could have a more leisurely experience. The communication leading up to our trip was phenomenal. We were asked to provide information about our expectations so they could make reservations at wineries that fit our party. They used this information and created a great itinerary for us. Our driver, Gregory, arrived on time. He was very personable. He was timely in his pickup and provided us with interesting information about wineries we visited. Everything went exactly as scheduled. The Wine Line is a great way to taste some of the best wineries in Paso Robles. Liz our driver was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, friendly and made sure my husband and I were taken care of by escorting us into each winery and picking us up. We visited Paris Valley Road Estate Winery, Rails Nap ( the most beautiful view) Penman Springs Vineyard, and Bianchi. All of the wineries were unique and offered great tasting options. This wine tour was a great way to enjoy our wine experience and we had a phenomenal lunch that paired so well with our wine. I highly recommend using the Wine Line, especially if this is your first visit to Paso Robles. You get a great value for the money you spend and you don't have to do all of the work. My friend and I went to Paso Robles for the weekend with my medium/large dog and wanted to have a day of wine tasting where we could relax and not worry about driving, while being able to bring my dog along. The Wine Line was the perfect solution as they are dog friendly and have a ton of knowledge about the wineries. They helped us select wineries that were dog friendly and catered to our needs, were super accommodating with my pup, and had great communication throughout. Our driver Bruce was knowledgeable, thoughtful and professional, making sure we had a great time. He was accommodating when he picked us up and we were finishing up a purchase or had to run to the bathroom, and even took some pictures for us so my friend and I could have some photos together. We went to 4 wineries 2 we selected and 2 that the service selected based on location of others who were touring the same day. We had the van to ourselves, we were never routed with other patrons. I have to say he was very patient as there are some details that took me a bit to understand. There are so many wineries in Paso Robles that selecting four to visit- Can be challenging when there are so many great choices. Croad was our favorite winery- although we enjoyed each winery we visited. We would highly recommend the 3 stop option- vs going to 4 wineries as the pace is more enjoyable. And.... Door to door service from your hotel and handles all reservations (required most places) at each Winery in advance. Love love loved! I am a bit OCD, and like things on time and punctual, and Jason was just that. He whipped in like a bay out of hell and grabbed us, and off we went. We had plenty of time at each winery so don't think it's so scheduled that you can't relax; you definitely can. I love wines but I didn't know this area so I had the Wine Line choose and they did amazingly. They chose 4 for us on the western loop and they were insane!!! Biggest shout out to Kelli! She's an amazing driver and took care of us the whole time. But let me backtrack to the beginning. We decided to go to Paso Robles for Labor Day and my husband found this company when looking for things to do. The booking was intuitive and fast. Jason and Brittany sent us a few emails with confirmation and guidelines. Whenever I had a question, they responded within 24 hours. We were given a tour schedule and Kelli called us the morning of to confirm. The email told us to expect her between 11:05 and 11:20am, and Kelli was there right at 11:05 in front of our hotel! The van was clean and welcoming. I saw a tub with some snacks and water for the passengers, but we brought our own water so we didn't need them. This is actually my tip to everyone who's doing wine tasting. Definitely bring your own water, because even though they are provided by the wineries, it's always nice to be able to drink water whenever you want. I immediately fell at ease with Kelli. She's got a warm, friendly attitude and I was able to really enjoy the day knowing someone would take care of us. She brought us to each wineries on time, and even checked up on us a few times. My family and I were visiting Paso Robles for Fourth of July weekend via RV. Since we were traveling with a dog and did not have easy transportation, we decided to book a tour with the Wine Line. My family is very indecisive. We originally booked a tour a few weeks in advance, canceled and decided to rebook again two days before. Jason (owner) was extremely accommodating and was able to squeeze us in last minute with a dog! All of the vineyards he picked were amazing (Rotta/Croad/Summerwood/Red Soles) and each had a distinctive vibe. We had an amazing time on the tour and our driver Gregory was the best. My wife and I reserved seats on The Wine Line for a birthday trip to Paso Robles. We had both been tasting in the area before, but this was our first experience with a driver. Liz was excellent - always early (not just on time), but she never put pressure on us to rush.
