Tiramisu latte and matcha
Mandy H.

Amazing matcha and drinks are so good! So cute and spacious. Variety for everything. We got the Tiramisu latte and Guava matcha, decently sweet but still taste the slight undertones of the caffeine flavors. 10/10!

I'm staying at JW Marriott across the street and this place has had a lively atmosphere and long line everyday. I had to understand the hype so today was the day. Luckily, I got on line instantly but it wasn't long before it stretched to the end of the staircase. I first ordered the brown sugar miso because the cashier said it was "perfectly balanced and not too sweet". I unfortunately have to disagree, it was very sweet for my taste. However, it may be perfectly balanced for someone else so I'm not shaving a star for it. Above all, the cashier and Juan (the coffee/matcha artist), said it's no problem to change it out for something different. I opted for the pistachio mascarpone matcha and then... IT ALL MADE SENSE. The hype, the vibe, the long line.. all for the pistachio mascarpone matcha! Make no mistake, get this the first time around. Don't second-guess yourself, if you're at Desnudo, it's for the PISTACHIO MARSCAPONE MATCHA! This is BY FAR the BEST/OUTSTANDING match I have ever had. This is coming from a flight attendant that usually opts for matcha all around the world. This is THE SPOT. Don't be a fool, get it.

Miso coffee is definitely unique and yummy! Service and people were great! It was my first time in Austin and heard this place was a must try. Definitely did not disappoint

Desnudo my belovedddd The drinks were all so amazing, the coffee notes and roast were delightful to taste!!!! The hojicha latte was one of the best i have ever tried, and their brown sugar miso latte was so yummy but not overly sweet. The staff at all locations were all so sweet and friendly, and helpful when picking out the right drinks to order!

A latte where you can still taste the quality coffee. We got the brown sugar miso latte. It was not overly sweet . We got in line just in time! Moments later the line tripled.

White Vanilla Miso Latte and La Guayba. Very good, we both put oatmilk in our drinks!

We love Desnudo coffee! We get it everytime we come to Austin. The matchas are delicious and the customer service is always on point. We bought beans to go and use at home too. Desnudo is a must stop while in Austin.

Outside of the hotel I was staying at. Expect a line in the morning. They have a menu of coffee and a pastry case. Staff are super friendly. I found it to be fairly quick service.

Conveniently located in downtown Austin serving drinks out of a small truck at a business plaza - it was a perfectly sunny but not humid Saturday with lots of outdoor seating available so the vibes were nice with people enjoying the day outside with their drinks. There was a long line that moved surprisingly quickly and had shade so well worth it. Service was super friendly and efficient with two registers open that helped move the line along and not a long wait for drinks despite the small truck they were operating out of. I was intrigued by the iced white miso matcha with orange blossom though after tasting it, I thought I ordered a regular matcha latte - I couldn't detect any white miso nor orange blossom. Since orange blossom can be overpowering, I did still appreciate that the matcha flavor was solid. It had sounded so unique though, I was hoping to taste the balanced flavors. That aside, it's better than most matcha lattes I've gotten elsewhere. The hot matcha latte was solid and I loved the hojicha latte as well.

Stopped by twice on our 2.5 day Austin trip! The coffee and matcha were spot on with the depth of the flavors. We appreciated the bitterness & strength of the caffeine that were nicely complimented with their umami flavor profile and milk of choice. The matcha and coffees were the star and Denudo hit the mark ! The line is long and may look intimidating but it goes quick and the drink orders arrive shortly after about less than 10 min of a wait. Friendly service and cute area to sit and hang.

recently visited Desnudo Coffee and got to try their butterscotch coffee along with the guava matcha. For the butterscotch coffee, I added extra cherry to make it a bit sweeter. It was definitely good and had a unique flavor, but it didn't fully win me over. I enjoyed trying it, but it's probably not something I'd order again. The guava matcha, on the other hand, was incredible. Easily one of the best matchas I've ever had. The flavor was perfectly balanced, not too earthy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. Exactly how I like my matcha. Overall, such a fun spot to try creative drinks. I'd absolutely come back for the matcha alone! Note to self, my cousins ordered the white miso and they said it was a little too watery. Get it warm ask for ice on the side.

This lives up to the hype! The line goes by fast and they are quick to make the coffee! Even if they weren't it would still be worth it! It is close to Fareground food hall so you could also grab a bite to eat if needed!

I wish I had more time to try more drinks here! So far I've had the brown sugar miso and the white miso orange blossom, and I really want to try the matcha because it looks amaaaazing, I just wish I was here for more than 1 day at a time! The croissant I had last year was so perfectly crunchy and flakey, literally one of the best croissants I've had in the states. This year it was still good but didn't have that super flaky crunchy top. Still recommend! I've only had the plain. Guava next maybe? And yes, the line is always "long" but they move very quickly. The line was probably 20 people and took less than 10min. Last year they had breakfast tacos in the courtyard from a local place, but I didn't see that this year so maybe it's not happening anymore. Overall 100/10 recommend this place! Worth the wait.

Went to the Desnudo Coffee trailer located in the Fareground Food Hall. Desnudo is known for serving 100% farm-to-trailer coffee that comes from small farms in Colombia. The line is always long at this location and I wanted to find out what this was all about. The line moves fairly quickly. I placed my order and was able to pay with Apple Pay. My order was prepared quickly considering the length of the line. I ended up ordering a signature matcha, the la guayaba, a uji matcha, topped with a mascarpone guava cold foam and fresh guava puree. I got it with regular 2% milk and it was so creamy and flavorful with the sweetness of the guava balancing out the earthiness of the matcha. The food truck is a a cute little trailer that seems like more of a stand instead of a full cafe. However, there is plenty of outdoor seating at the Fareground for a gorgeous outdoor experience. Can't wait to come back and try other beverages from their menu!

Went on a Saturday and there was a line out to the street. It took about 20/30 minutes, but once you ordered it was quick! They also passed out tasters in the line which I appreciate. It's part of a little food truck community so theres a bunch of outdoor tables shaded by trees- loveddd the vibes. I got the Iced Brown Sugar Miso Latte and the Iced Guava Matcha (vegan version). The latte was good, but it wasn't anything crazy different from a normal sweetened latte honestly. The matcha, however, was amazingggg. I've never had a guava matcha before and the flavor combo was amazing. I would 100% go back to try their other coffee options and get the guava matcha. Also really appreciate that they were able to veganize it for us!

They're known for their signature moon milk, which is a sweetened milk they use in a bunch of their drinks. I really like it. It has a unique flavor, and I appreciate that you can customize how sweet you want your coffee. They offer different sweetness levels (¼, 1/2, ¾, and full), as well as "whisper" sweetness, which is just . It's a great option if you prefer your coffee just a little sweet. Our usual order is the Whisper Wintermoon, and it's consistently good. Their coffee is solid, and the moon milk adds a lovely, light sweetness without being overpowering. I've also tried their iced matcha, which is fine, but I wouldn't necessarily come here specifically for it. They sometimes have breakfast tacos in the mornings from a local vendor, and those have been pretty good too. All in all, Summer Moon is a coffee shop we've enjoyed for a long time. Good coffee, a unique take on sweetened drinks, and plenty of locations around Austin.

They sell coffee by the pound, likely for those serious coffee lovers who have fancy expensive coffee machines. I was looking for a latte. Bad news...this coffee company sells coffee by the pound not lattes (hence the name). Good news... they sell drip coffee for $2.00 + tax. What a deal! This family owned shop has been roasting beans locally since 1972 and focuses on helping customers brew excellent coffee at home rather than serving coffee drinks on premises. According to the store manager, Mr. Anderson occasionally comes into the store. The selection of freshly roasted beans is rather larger, with store favorites like Guatemala Antiqua, Dark Sumatra and Arabian Mocha cited as most popular. Coffee cost on average $19 per pound. In addition to coffee, the store carries loose leaf teas, mugs, candy, cards, coffee pot sweaters, brewing equipment, and small other gift items, to name just a few items. Things Mozart's does well: food and desserts…read more Drinks are falling behind. The peach cobbler matcha just tasted like matcha so why bother calling it peach cobbler? There was some stuff sprinkled on top but very disappointing. Things that are not so great: 1. Orders are all over the place. We got a matcha, a cold brew, and a drip. Matcha came out first. Never got a cup for the drip so had to ask. Also had to remind barista about the cold brew, which is easier and faster to make than the matcha given you just pour it in a cup with ice. Do they just jump around from ticket to ticket when making drinks? 2. I asked for our desserts to be in to go boxes and I wanted our savory food heated up because we were going to eat it there. I said this 3-4x. Everything was placed in to go containers so I had to take the savory food out and ask again for it to be heated up. Food placed after us was already in the toaster so we had to wait extra long for our food to be placed in there and heated up. 3. Music is way too loud. Can't even talk. Thankfully there was a longer than scheduled break in-between the first band and the second band that we could actually talk and enjoy our food. 4. The wait times are ridiculous. The line does NOT move that fast. Probably because people have to keep asking the workers where their stuff is. 5. Parking is terrible. A woman and her friend pulled out and I pulled in only to have valet claim it was their spot. How did a woman and her friend walk to her car and pull out if it was valet? There was also no cone but sure, it belongs to valet. Was this a way of trying to get us to pay? Touristy trap. Yes, I know there is an overflow lot. It is usually packed/full. I was also with elderly parents. Good luck walking down that hill without falling. They used to have someone in a little cart take people back and forth but not anymore. I tipped $8 for worse than Chipotle/Subway service. I've been here on a weekday mid-day before and they've forgotten my iced Americano before. I've had to go up and ask the baristas just standing around and clearly not working on my drink. Then I would sit down and 5-7 min would go by. Still no drink. Go back to the front. They say, oh there's your drink (half melted). I was sitting inside at a table talking with a friend. Surely if they called my name, I would have heard them but I guess they cannot be bothered. I've been coming to Mozart's since high school since I live nearby. Service has become a joke. It's turned into a tourist attraction with prices to match and extremely long lines The food is good, I will give them that. Once the food quality goes down, there is absolutely no point in coming. I also worked as a barista in high school and college. I can adequately judge the level of service as I've been through the crazy rushes. The service is terrible here. It's like they think because they're Mozart's on the lake, they can just not care about providing good service. The people working there, while always polite, do not seem like they like working there. I dont know how to explain it. I think it's because Mozart's is tourist attraction and no longer an actual Austin coffee shop. It feels like Starbucks right at the point Starbucks sold out. It's such a shame. I live a few minutes away so I would like to come here more often but every time I come, I'm always a bit unhappy about my visit.
