My ugly feet with a pretty pedicure.
    Michelle B.

A friend reccomended this nail salon for a pedicure. I was put off, at first, by the lowest average Yelp reviews I've ever seen for any business. Normally, I would accept that as a sign to stay away, but my friend insisted it was great and I should make an appointment. I called ahead on a Friday by only an hour, got an appointment, was seated immediately, the staff was extremely friendly, all the customers seemed happy (half of the chairs were occupied and there were still at least 2 nail techs available) and I received an excellent "Deluxe" pedicure. Prices and options are about average. The place is clean and the equipment (including the all-important massage chairs) is in good condition. There is a sign in the window "No Public Restroom" but (thank goodness) I was allowed to use the bathroom (which is NOT suitable for the public, but, when you gotta go, does it matter?)

I had my nails done today and Keit was a new nail tech that did an AMAZING job!!! The owner teased him about taking too long but it only took about just over 1 hour. He did an AMAZING JOB!!!

I have been coming here for a couple of years now, and can honestly say that I will continue to drive from South Salem to get my nails done. KC and Kevin are always so accommodating to my weird color requests.

honestly was skeptical of trying due to reviews but honestly 10/10 definitely go when you have time not an in an out service , they were pretty busy an had more customers then staff (like a lot of places ) but the quality an friendly service is definitely gonna be reason I go back!

Color bleeding, torn up cuticles, not painted nicely. Do I need to go on?

This used to be my go to nail salon and I stopped getting my nails done well tonight I needed a fill bad and my normal solan was fully booked so I decided to come here again as I used to love their work. Well I can say I will never ever come in here again. They don't know to stay up to date either trends and don't care to learn new techniques this set is absolutely not what I wanted but I settled for a more simple look, cool right? No. I had to tell them 5 times I wanted ALL of my nails matt and they just seemed to be flabbergasted by that. They also most definitely talk crap about you in their language and the. Will literally laugh at you while they're doing your nails so unprofessional. Do my nails look okay for the time being sure. Don't change the fact that they kept trying to change what I wanted to better fit them and poor poor poor techniques

Would recommend going here for your wedding nails they are great! They were able to get us in as walk ins and do an amazing job at hand designing my nails! Offered us water and great massages too for our feet with pedicures!

I asked for a French tip fill. This is what I got. I paid $40 to have two different shades of pink. She didn't let me know that she didn't have a different color or she could have let me know that prior to me sitting down and her picking at my nails already.Worst nail experience I have had in my ENTIRE LIFE. Very unprofessional, unorganized, & overpriced. That is a shame that this place still gets business because of how rudely I was treated, I was trying to make sure she wasn't overcharging me and she started yelling at me to insert my card.

My friend booked us for pedicures at Designer Nails. I had never been there so I was eager to try it. First of all, we had an appointment. But apparently half a dozen other people had appointments as well. They had clearly over booked as people had to wait quite a while to be seen. They finally got us settled into the water. I told them I was doing a shellac pedi. My friend was doing a regular polish pedi. This caused a bit of a commotion as the woman working on my feet suddenly stopped cleaning my feet and switched with someone else. The lady that was going to do mine said she would be to me soon. I didn't mind since that gave me more soaking time. The lady that then started working on them was efficient and detailed. But she rushed through my pedi. They had a $33 & $40 pedi's. My friend did the $33 and I did the $40. They did nothing different to my feet than what they did to hers. So then she left me to relax with hot towels on my legs and a while later a man came over and proceeded to paint my toes. I told him I was doing shellac... he was clearly upset. He and the lady that was doing my feet had words that I clearly did not understand. He then took the polish off and re-did them in shellac. The overall job was ok. I felt to have gone through 3 different people in one session was a bit odd. They were overbooked and rushed through my pedi. I probably would not go back here unless there were absolutely nothing else to choose from.

    Ombre french tip sparkle.

I moved to Keizer last year and I have been here a few times. Always clean and welcoming environment when I have visited. I love my nails this time, not the full ombre look I wanted but I am still happy with it. This visit took 2.5 hours and 3 if you count the 30 minutes I waited after my scheduled time, but they are thorough and make sure you are satisfied before leaving so for me it is worth the overall customary service. I will be back next month!

Never had a problem here, conveniently located, clean shop. Had an appt today on Saturday for a bridal party nail party, and we were allowed bring our own wine! I had a cut on my middle finger which I warned them about (they were very gentle). I also had a toe nail that is recovering from a run, and a healing tender blister area. They were very accommodating and even touched up a few places I felt needed a little extra polish. So happy!

Special shoutout to the receptionist who recommended the fruit loops candle. I really like it! Booked with Rebecca for the first time and she was AMAZING. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible for the following reasons: 1. On the page under "Massage Enhancements - Epsom Foot Soak" the business promises an Epsom Foot Soak for new clients to enjoy while they fill out paperwork. I arrived 15m before my appointment and asked about the foot soak. The receptionist was not at the desk, so the question was posed to a massage therapist who showed up and said that the receptionist was preparing it. I was given paperwork to fill out which I did without the aforementioned foot soak. 2. When I was shown to the massage room, the foot bath was there, and I asked whether the 15m foot soak would be counted as part of my massage. The therapist, Anita, left the room for 10m (part of my massage time now) and came back to say that the foot soak would not be offered. Instead she said she would add on a paraffin treatment for my hands and feet. 3. The actual "deep tissue" massage was a lot of petting and short superficial strokes. She did identify and dig in deeper to sore glut muscles which helped relieve some tension, but it was not the deep tissue massage I had expected, and she did not address my primary concern (bursitis). 4. She ended the massage after 50 minutes (minus the time she left the room). 5. She never followed through with the promise of a paraffin treatment. Even though I was offered a discount, I left more stressed than I arrived. This is not the way to treat anyone. Never promise something you can't deliver.

While they provide a rejuvenate and relax sequence, you are free to roam and try everything. Lastly, I have the aromatherapy massage with Hannah. Hannah was very attentive as it took a few mins to adjust the table for maximum comfort. The service was good, very relaxing and comforting, which was exactly what I expected. The lunch was a charcuterie tray, light and filling. A very good selection of cheese, meat and fruit. Perfect light lunch. Let's talk price... the services are competitive with comparable spas. The lunch at $32 and seems a little high when I can get a charcuterie tray at one of the local wine bars for under $20. I would skip next time. The Oasis was $55, which if I were coming in just for this, would be reasonable. For the whole package we were hoping for a price break and a lower cost for the Oasis would have been nice. Let me first start by saying the "spa" here should have its own yelp because a lot of these reviews…read moreare for the medical procedures which are misleading to really how terrible this place is claiming to be a top spa. Now, maybe I am just used to the TRUE luxury spas like in Scottsdale, AZ or Southern California but if people here think this is a luxury spa you have not really been to one. First, upon arrival it is clear they want to push their med spa and procedures there was nothing but advertisements, creams, and marking for that in your face everywhere you turned. After checking in, the woman said she would give me a tour, she led me to a glass door that was supposed to be an outdoor patio and said I could use it if I wanted some sun, I looked out to see a broken fountain, a mess of chairs thrown about, and nothing relaxing or enticing that made me want to go out there. Next, she led me down the stairs to the soaking pool, cold dip, etc. I booked this place for one reason. I am recovering from an injury and wanted to soak in a hot tub, sauna, etc. While it was visually pleasing in that particular part, but then she said "and today since it is so hot out, we have the soaking pool at am ambient temperature." Like what do you mean ambient? I was thinking to myself that thing better be a VERY warm ambient. When walking out she pointed to some neglected pedicure chairs in the corner and said these are nice to sit in and get a massage and are heated. I thought that was strange because the chairs were stained and had clearly not been used in a while and you had to climb up a huge stone step like you would if you were getting a spa pedi just to use them. It was like they were trying to pass them off as something nice but really should be taken out! Next, we went into the locker rooms, now when I go to the spa, I bring a swimsuit, and a fresh change of clothes and my makeup to freshen up after. The lockers were the size of piggy banks, and I had to cram my stuff in so tight, it would barely lock and upon opening everything fell out. There are no hooks ANYWHERE, I had to put my robe on the dirty ground after getting into my swimsuit because there was no where to hang it, or a towel once you were getting dressed and undressed. Anyway, she said she would turn on the jets to the soaking pool and bring me some paperwork to sign. She never did either. I put my suit on with my now dirty gross robe, and sandals that were enormous. I couldn't wait to get in the pool and I step in and it is absolutely freezing. Like ice cold bath water. This is what she meant by ambient. Like on your website you say it is 103 degrees, this was maybe 85 degrees. I was so upset. The entire reason I came and I am now teeth chattering cold. I get out of the pool and go into the sauna to warm up. It is also turned down so low that I crank up the temp to 105 degrees and it took forever to heat up. Now I am soaked and damp, and even more uncomfortable than when I arrived. I went back to the locker room, took off my wet suit and changed into dry undergarments for my massage and thought I would try to warm up in the heated massage pedi chairs she pointed out. I sit down and push the massage and literally thought my brain was going to get shook out of my head. It just vibrates at a scale that is NOT comfortable. I just shut it off and honestly almost left at that point. Fifteen minutes after my massage was supposed to start, this massage therapist huffs around the corner and says my name. She literally has a mullet, the biggest N95 White mask on I have ever seen and NO SHOES! Like what in the actual F! One thing is for sure, if you are wanting a "stay weird" Portland spa, y'all have found it! We go into this weird doctors treatment room, nothing calming, relaxing or spa vibes at all. It's very bright in there, and I tell her I want light pressure, and I had to tell her three times to lighten it up. I HATE massage therapists that use their elbows, and whole arms, and sh** like they are digging into you. I just want something relaxing not where I am grunting for you to stop! I had also asked for the hot oil head massage. After my 60 minutes, she didn't say anything about it, didn't offer it, and honestly I was at this point thinking I am at the threshold of hell. I just wanted to get out of there. I went back to the locker room, and because they offer no bags for your wet clothes like most spas, my suit had soaked my entire bag and I left in wet soppy clothes. The one nice thing is the girl working the front desk noticed how displeased and offered to take off the $25 for the spa facilities but honestly this place is an epic joke, trying to pass off as luxury. Do not waste your time, or energy here.
