After years and years of…read moresearching for the right front door for our home, we finally found the one person who could make our dream door come true. Our house came with typical tract home doors. When we decided to replace them, we shopped around for a long time. We tried the big box store first and were surprised to learn that our doors were not the typical standard size. We were told about 95% of prefabricated doors were not available in our size. Of the 5% that would fit, none were to our taste. We realized that if we wanted something we liked, we would have to have it custom designed, created and installed. Our next step was to drive through various subdivisions looking at front entry doors trying to find the design that "spoke" to us. We loved the 8-panel doors we saw and decided the center panel should be replaced with a design of beautiful colorless stained glass that still offered privacy. Our next step was to look for the best person or company for the job. Finding that special artist took time. At last, we found Custom Door Boutique. We were pleased that this company is small, locally owned and not part of any conglomerate. We spoke with Mike Martinez, the owner. He came out and we were (and still are) extremely impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, kindness, fairness and his ethics. He did all the work. We discussed what we wanted and he came up with a proposal that was very agreeable to us. Regarding our glass design, we chose to design our own. Mike said that was doable (and at no extra cost). All we had to do was give him a drawing or sketch of what we wanted. We found a few patterns we really liked and incorporated them, allowing one pattern to flow into the other. Mike took our design for the door and glass and worked on putting them together. He sent us the pictures/drawing/sketches of what it would look like. Once we gave the okay on that, we had to settle on the color stain for the door. (By the way we had chosen a wood door and got to pick the type of wood.) Mike provided us with several examples of different shades of the stain we had chosen. It took us awhile to decide which stain it would be because we kept checking all the samples at different times of the day and evening, both inside the house and in front. When we gave Mike our final okay, the process of making our beautiful door began. A custom door, if you want it done right, takes time and patience. It took a few months for everything to come together and the custom stained-glass panel to be created. In May 2022 our beautiful doors were installed. Mike is a perfectionist and his doors will be a perfect fit with no gaps. Mike is a true artisan. We highly recommend Mike Martinez and Custom Door Boutique. Even if you have an issue with a door he did not install, Mike is your friendly, helpful neighbor who is the right person to call. To reiterate, Mike is a true skilled artisan who is ethical, professional, fair, kind and decent.

We finally had a pleasant meeting and he had good ideas. I was ready to pull the trigger on our first project and he knew it. There are probably 10 more projects he could have done for us and we wanted to create a relationship with a good person. Our meeting was June 28, he said he'd give me pricing by July 1. It's now the 16th and he has made zero attempt to contact me and has not responded to calls, an email and a message through his website ("hey, even if you aren't ready yet--could you tell me whether you are still intetested?"). I've now given up and wasted a month on an important project. I can't believe how disappointing this situation turned out to be and I do NOT recommend wasting your time with this company.

We had no idea how much to consider when ordering a door and hardware. We are very appreciative of Wendy's time to make sure everything was perfect before placing our order. When our contractor took the measurements of our original doors, that we had to replace, it wasn't a standard size and we were all scratching our heads at the original install. Nevertheless, Tom from GMS came out to our home to triple-check measurements and discuss the installation further. They went above and beyond in our opinion and we highly recommend them. I recently had all of my windows replaced in my home with 360 Windows and Doors…read more I first met Zach at the showroom and he showed me some of the windows they offer and how they were made and took the time to answer and questions I had, and explained the differences between each of the window types. I later met Malake who facilitated the transaction. Malake was wonderful and put the whole package together and was very good at keeping me updated with changes that might occur. I called her on the weekend in the evening and she still answered my call. Absolutely awesome. We ran into a small issue with sizing on a couple of windows from the window manufacturer and 360 Windows simply offered an upgrade to those windows that had the issue at no extra cost. Talk about taking care of your customers. Lastly there was a small hiccup with the screen door that didn't make it into the shipment for my sliding glass door. 360 windows contacted the manufacturer of the windows and for whatever reason it was further delayed. Not any fault of 360. I spoke to Lauren on a few occasions regarding the screen and she decided it was taking too long to get the screen from the manufacturer and Lauren contacted a local vendor that manufactures screen doors and sent them out to build a custom screen door since the original vendor was having issues. Much appreciated!! Everyone I encountered at 360 Windows was awesome. They were patient with all my questions and friendly, responsive, explained everything and informed me of any changes. The install team were punctual and really on top of the job. I am very happy with my experience and highly recommend this company. Thank you all for a great experience. I have had neighbors ask me about my windows and I will be sending them to 360 Windows and Doors.

I'm sharing this review to help others make informed decisions…read more Leslie Shower Enclosers installed a frameless glass shower door in my home in 2021. Within 2.5 years, the top hinge began failing, screws were visibly pulling out from the wall plate, and the door started hitting the adjacent glass panel. I reported the issue while the hinge was still under the manufacturer's 3-year warranty. Instead of replacing it, the installer adjusted the glass position and left the clearly failing hinge untouched. A year later, now 7 months past the warranty period, the same issue occurred again. I contacted the installer with updated photos, measurements, and the original quote, which he no longer had on file. He acknowledged the hinge should be replaced but said it would now cost me $150 since the warranty had expired, even though I had reported the problem well before it did. After reviewing the original quote from the manufacturer, I discovered that the hinges installed were not the ones listed in the approved order. They were a different model entirely. This likely explains why he had no record of the order, why the hinge wasn't under warranty, and why it failed prematurely. It also explains why he already had a matching replacement hinge in his possession, as seen in a photo he texted me. When I asked why the hinge hadn't been replaced within the warranty period, his response was: "Frankly, I don't feel the vibe to assist anymore." I replied: "I was simply looking for some clarification before paying for the replacement. I was having trouble understanding your previous message. There was no animosity intended." I received no response. When I followed up again to express my safety concerns and disappointment, I was told: "Bye for good." That was the last communication. I was never rude or confrontational, just a customer trying to get a clearly defective hinge addressed. Now I'm stuck hiring another contractor to replace it, and I'm left feeling taken advantage of. This is a heavy glass panel, if it falls, it could cause serious harm. I truly wanted to support a small business and give the benefit of the doubt, but I would not recommend Steve's business based on my experience.
