Truffle fries

Epic happy hour and upbeat atmosphere. Stopped in here after a long day on the train and got blessed to hit during happy hour. $6 for nachos and $6 for truffle fries. Deal. Huge portions and a solid 7/10 for both. Also went with their house Negroni to wash it down. The drink was refreshing and left me wanting another. They add their spin on a classic Negroni by using an apricot liqueur making it less bitter and more crushable. Highly recommend.

I came here for drinks on a Saturday night and it was such a wonderful experience. Their cocktail menu was elaborate, whimsical, and fun. Our waitress helped us chose drinks and they were delicious. We also got their sweet potato fries which had a delicious dipping sauce. Even better than the drinks and food was the decor and ambiance! Tables are isolated in alcoves created by extra doors and barriers installed. Also there were interior illuminated trees. They were beautiful and it was so fun.

Pretty cool place located in downtown Durango. So glad I found this place on Yelp! Service was attentive, drinks were super yummy, and the food was good. I ordered the Margherita flatbread and it was really flavorful with the arugula on top. I also had the southwest fries, which were really good and the drink I had was The Cure and it was super refreshing. I loved the jalapeño vodka in it; it wasn't too spicy at all but gave it a very nice flavor. I loved the decor and vibe of this place and if you're in Durango, check this place out!

When I was doing my research to come to Durango this place got very high marks. It didn't disappoint. The food, drink, atmosphere were all top notch. Starting with drinks, 3 of us had this Smokey old fashioned that came in a covered glass. It was so great, we each had another. All the food we got, everyone enjoyed. If I lived there, this would be a place I would always bring guests. Nothing negative to say about anything. They also have these really cool lighted trees inside that just add to the great vibe in the place

Came here after the attendant on the steam train recommended it as his favorite spot in town! (thanks Paul!) So glad he suggested ... Derailed was a delight! There was no detail overlooked. The art, the ambience, the aesthetics, the designs on the menu, the names of the cocktails, everything was exceptional. Our waitress, and everyone who worked there was so incredibly kind and great at their jobs! Fast, friendly. It was a great experience. The cocktails and beer were delicious. We got a chicken flatbread and the buffalo wings, and the food was delicious. The buffalo wings packed a serious spice, but man where they good! Definitely come here for some food and cocktails, it was a great time.

We came here for drinks on Saturday afternoon and luckily didn't have to wait for seating or any delays at all. The specialty cocktails do take a little more time to make but if you read that within the menu you can prepare for that. Atmosphere is amazing, the service was super friendly and drinks were delicious! Recommended 5/5

Let me just start by saying my positive take on this restaurant; the cocktail list is extensive and fun, and the drinks were good. Also, they have a nice ambiance with diverse music. On the downside, the food is not good. I had a southwest salad which had maybe 5 pieces of lettuce and was covered in cheese. I also had an avocado taco that was cold and bland. I expected maybe a fried avocado slice or something, but no. My partner got chicken tacos and he said they were ok. We were in a time crunch and took what we could get, as most places were closing. Our server was really nice and fast when we asked for the check, which we paid without looking it over. Our mistake, as we were charged for extra food we didn't order. For example, I received one taco for $4 but was charged for two... like I said, my drink was good!

My daughter and I made it a point to visit this place on our trip to Durango. We absolutely LOVED this place!! It had such a cool vibe. The food and drinks were amazing! We shared the bbq chicken flatbread and it was really tasty. We had a great time just sitting there looking around. Even the women's bathroom was cute :) In the hallway leading to the bathrooms is all kinds of cute quotes hanging. A really great place to stop at when you are in Durango. We will definitely be back!!!

Very friendly bartenders. Very good options for food and drinks on happy hour. Been here at least 10x and never had a complaint.

Is the outdoor patio dog friendly?

Don't know for certain but doubt it. Patio is pretty tight so dogs would be a challenge.

Telluride Blues & Brews Festival - First snow after the rainstorm

Telluride Blues & Brews Festival

As a longtime festivalgoer, it's rare for me to experience so many artists for the very first time, but that added a fresh spark to the weekend. Jontavious Willis, Maggie Rose, Thundercat, Danielle Nicole, and Anders Osborne all left strong impressions, even if I can't list everyone here. That said, two performances in particular blew me away and would have been worth the trip from South Florida all on their own. Before getting to that, I have to highlight what makes this festival truly unique: the setting. Telluride Town Park sits in a valley almost completely surrounded by Colorado mountains. Having lived my whole life on flat Florida terrain, I was in awe. Pictures don't capture it--you simply have to be there. Our first day brought cold rain in the low 40s, and many people called it quits early. But those who stayed witnessed something unforgettable. In the middle of a downpour, Samantha Fish took the stage. Her voice and guitar work were so captivating that we almost forgot about the weather. Then, almost magically, the clouds parted, the sun broke through, and a stunning double rainbow arched over the snow-capped peaks that had just turned white from the storm. It was one of those rare, once-in-a-lifetime moments that I'll never forget. And just when I thought nothing could top that, The Black Crowes closed out Sunday night. As a Gen-Xer who lived through the '90s, seeing the Robinson brothers back together was surreal. Chris Robinson commanded the stage with charisma somewhere between Mick Jagger and Scott Weiland, while Rich Robinson's guitar transported me right back to my twenties. It was the perfect ending to a perfect trip out west. Thank you Colorado

The festival was great but... Last 5 minutes in town: * Parked behind another car in center-street 30-min max zone (engine running, hazards on) * Crew grabbed their ice cream treats from the sidewalk stand across the street * 90 seconds later - $50 ticket for "Permit Only" parking The catch? The words "Permit Required" was hidden under well-manicured flowers - on every planter down the middle of Main Street. Pictured officer as she lifted the blooms like a curtain to reveal it. Photos attached: 1. Officer holding back curtain of flowers exposing the key part of the sign 2. My spot with flowers untouched, covering the key part of sign 3. Several other cars parked in same zone and were being ticketed as fast as the officer could write them Zoom Call Court (1.5-hr wait; out-of-state Zoom Calls were last in line to be heard): * Victim before me, also out-of-state (Louisiana): Same story (but no pictures), Judge reduced fine to $40, or told to show up in court to fight * Me: Showed judge photographic evidence along with short to-the-point explanations during my hearing - still ordered to pay $40 or fly to Telluride to fight in court Judge Daniel Zemke ignored the evidence presented. This is clearly city-sanctioned "Trickery" & "Entrapment" targeting out-of-state visitors in rental cars (Locals know not to park there, or else). Paid the $40 (in pennies). Won't return (Sorry Blues & Brews); 47 other beautiful mountain towns do not hide their reasons for fines in flowerpots. ________________________________________ Beautiful town. Ugly Thank You For Coming... Trust in Telluride City Officials? Priceless.
