Ben and his team were awesome. They called ahead, arrived on time, and moved everything very quickly without damaging a single thing. I'll definitely use these guys again the next time I move. Totally professional and efficient. read more

Mike and Igor helped us move across town today. They showed up exactly on time and took great care of everything as they packed it up. Very professional, very fast, and very thoughtful (they even gave me a ride to my new house!). We'll be using them again whenever we move. read more

Hiring Denver Professional Movers was the best decision I have made during a move!! They were extremely affordable compared to other moving companies (I got a lot of quotes!) IIdar, Max and Danil showed up ten minutes ahead of schedule and called me earlier in the day to confirm which was greatly appreciated. They were extremely professional and took great care with all my belongings. They wrapped anything breakable or delicate. They were running and gunning from the moment they got to my house and it only took 2.5 hours for a one bedroom sized apartment move. The move to my new apartment was not easy, my furniture was pretty big and they had to get extremely creative getting it all to fit through the narrow doorways. I was so impressed and grateful for their hard work and help with a not so easy move! USE THIS company! I will recommend them to anyone looking to move. read more

I recently booked Denver Professional Movers to help me move from Aurora to Centennial. I was so pleased with their work - they were efficient, helpful, courteous and friendly. They went above and beyond on the day of the move, even assisting me with taking a larger item that I couldn't carry out to my trash. Before the move their customer service staff answered all of my questions. They have good rates too, and I bought a Yelp deal which saved me more money. If you're looking for great movers, check them out! read more

The movers were on time and worked very hard to complete my move, constantly running up and down the stairs. I had some issues with my ripped couch but have since straightened it out and have not held the moving company liable. They responded back quickly with a lengthy email so I appreciate the quick contact. read more

These guys do a top notch job. We called them about a week in advance, booking was really easy. They called the day before to confirm they were coming, and they even called the day of to let us know they could come earlier if we wanted. They let us know a time window that they would be arriving and George, Max, and Alex showed up right at the beginning of that window. I was worried initially because we weren't as ready as I'd hoped we would be, and we had a total of 6 people (not counting the movers) helping us move stuff at the same time. I was impressed with how well these guys were able to manage moving everything while dealing with lots of people in and out, back and forth. They moved much quicker than I thought they would and they took care of everything. We had some huge furniture, most of it still full of clothes and stuff. Normally watching other people move all my stuff around would really stress me out. These guys took care to wrap things when necessary, and they moved slowly through tight spaces. I didn't see them drop or bang a single thing. When everything was finished I walked into my new apartment and everything had been put in the right place, lamps were plugged in behind furniture, even my clothes were right where they had been in the previous closet. Everything was very professional and very fast. I'd recommend Denver Professional Movers to anyone who wants to make their move much much easier. read more

Waited for hours and hours for them to show! I called them on several occasions and they kept telling me that traffic was delaying them from getting to the apartment! We were driving for several days so leaving early was very important we left five hours late because they didn't show! When they finally showed they came with a bunch of boxes they picked up down the street at a store not professional at all read more

The guys were very nice and never stopped working. Most movers that bid "by the hour" take smoke breaks every hour. The only problem was communicating. Not one of them understood basic single word communications in english. Words like: office, bed room, and lunch break all created issues. Again, very very very nice people. read more

Professional is honestly THE LAST THING this company is. I hired this company to move me on Saturday 9/7. They were supposed to arrive between 9 and 10 am. They arrived at 10:20 am. The entire move took around 7 hours, which wouldn't have been a problem except that they didn't move all of my things! I hired 3 movers, and one of them was so lazy. He spent most of the day trying to chat with me and complaining about how it was his last day and he was so over it because it was such hard labor. He complained about the stairs or how slow the elevator was, spent some time on my new patio enjoying the views, played with my dog. On his phone, walking around, moving things from room to room instead of room to truck. When they were "finished," I still three TVs, multiple boxes, 9 lamps, all my wall hangings (15+ canvases), my 27" desktop computer, and a few other things that "wouldn't fit in the truck." I moved here 3 months ago with the same size truck and MORE furniture than I have now, so not sure how that's even possible. When I looked at the truck as they pulled the hatch down, it wasn't even stacked close to the top. They had another ~2-3 feet they could have used. The drive from old place to new place is about 45 minutes with traffic and the roads were clear. I left 20 minutes after them and STILL WAITED 20 MINS for them to arrive. They claimed they got caught in traffic...at noon on Saturday, on the same route i had just taken, and experienced no traffic. They also said they stopped at a gas station. So I paid them for an hour and a half lunch break. They also demanded a 15% tip and swore up and down that nothing was broken and they were done, and even commented again on how "hard" "they" had worked and how sore he was on his last day, as if I should sympathize with him for doing his job. I asked them to wait so I could inspect everything and the lead guy with the notepad, the lazy one, told me they didn't have time and I needed to sign so they could go. So I did and called the owner. I ended up getting in touch with Justin via Yelp and he pretended to care about the situation and asked me to call him so we could work something out s a remedy. I immediately called and he wasn't in the office. I called again today, when I was transferred to his full voicemail after being told he had just walked in and would speak with me. I called back, hoping it was a call fail. When I let the person who answered know who I was and what I needed, THEY HUNG UP ON ME. I called back a third time, no answer. A fourth call resulted in someone picking up the receiver and slamming it back down. On top of that, I now have to figure out how to move all of this stuff across town by myself in my small car while pregnant. THIS IS WHY I HIRED MOVERS. I have also involved my bank and my attorney because they won't work with me at all or even talk to me! SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND TROUBLE, and hire a true professional - some else. Update: customer service finally reached out and offered me a $43.00 refund, as the movers did charge me for their 30-minute lunch break. HAHA! read more

All in all they did an okay job. Paying by the hour the guys definitely took their time, but they were careful with our stuff. So we paid more for less damage I suppose. Language was a bit of a barrier, I had to read them most of the boxes do it was hard for me to unpack while they were unloading the truck. The one thing I'm not thrilled with, they advertise free wardrobe boxes. Those are only on loan for the day. So you have to wait until they get there to pack your clothes and then basically dump the boxes out at the new house so you can return them and not be charged. I think if you advertise free boxes you get to keep the boxes. read more

John's team is great. They worked really hard. They packed all our stuffs professionally.

This is only the second time I've used a professional moving company, but oh my god am I glad I did! The time I saved couldn't compare, and dealing with these guys was much easier than I expected a service like this would be. I wanted to write a review for these guys as we had an outstanding experience with our move yesterday. First, we hired them very late. We were moving our office yesterday 6/4, but I didn't receive the OK to hire movers until 6/1. Despite the extremely late notice, they were able to accommodate us and got us right on the schedule with a 50.00 deposit. They did confirm the move the day before and also the morning of. Yesterday morning, two trucks and 6 guys appeared ready to work. I should note we contracted for 5 guys but 6 came along. We were not charged for this extra guy. They set to work and had our entire 4,000 sq ft office packed and on the truck in about 4 1/2 hours. I thought this was extremely reasonable considering all of our desks are the modern type with tons of plate glass. I am happy and relieved to report that ALL the desks made it with no broken glass whatsoever and the rest of our stuff survived intact as well. Outstanding you guys!!! Our staff helped the guys unload the trucks at the new location and all told it was a 6 hour experience from start to finish. If we hadn't helped them unload it probably would have been a 7-8 hour experience, but that is no knock on them. All the guys worked hard and were very professional and courteous. The best part? The final bill. We were quoted 3,000-4,000 from other companies and we ended up paying less than half that with these guys. They were professional, fast and reasonably priced. You cannot ask for more. I hope never to have to move again, personally or professionally, but if I do, the Denver Professional Movers will be on our list to call. Thanks guys! You rock!! read more

Denver Professional Movers - Great job - Movers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

My wife and I lived in 1 bedroom apartment directly across from the service elevator. The reserved service elevator opened up right to loading dock where the truck was parked. We were also completely packed in boxes. I was quoted a 3 hour move which ended up taking 6.5. The price more than doubled, my move was now a $650 compared to the quoted $300 move. Here is the issue, the guys continued to take smoke breaks. Two would go down at a time with a load for over 45 minutes, unload some stuff take a few smoke breaks and eat up the clock. While one guy is left in the apartment for the 'dog and pony show.' I called their customer service line to try to get some sort of resolution and they were full of excuses. We have not unpacked yet so I am unsure if anything is broken. They seemed to be careful with our stuff although we did not see them loading it. They also wrapped our dresser and two beds. Just be prepared to pay double. read more

Brian and Dimitri were awesome! They wrapped all of our furniture and were very careful when moving in and out. Nothing was scratched or broken and we are happy campers! Would definitely hire them again! read more

A little disappointed with my experience. We ordered three movers for our 3 bedroom apartment move to our brand new house in east Denver. The gentlemen showed up on time and worked hard but quite a few mistakes were made. Not only did they show up with NO SHOE COVERS, which we had to provide, we also wrote off an hour of their time. They completely dismantled my couches and beds but didn't take pictures of how they looked beforehand. Thus, they had o build the bed twice after incorrectly doing this the first time and couldn't figure out how to put together the couch. We should've written off more time but felt bad because they did work hard. I would personally not use this company in the future. Disappointing that they dont even bring their own shoe covers or put down blankets. read more

Item STOLEN, DO NOT HIRE Movers arrived three hours late because their truck broke down. I didn't need a truck since they only needed to move items from a packed garage into the house. They sent two kids 17 and 18 that told me they don't regularly work for the company. Since they were 3 hours late I had to leave in the middle to get my kids from daycare. During that time they stole a shotgun that was in the very back corner behind about 30 heavy boxes that they had moved. I didn't know the shotgun was there since my husband tucked it far back there while we were in moving transition. For several months. The gun was impossible to get to since it was behind so many boxes In addition when I hired the company I emphasized that I had two beds that needed to be assembled and this was essential to getting my family all moved in on one day. The kids spent an hour and a half assembling one bed (I didn't complain knowing that this is expensive). They put this bed together wrong and drilled additional wholes to make it look assembled. We had to reassemble. On the second be they said they couldn't finish because parts were missing. The parts were right next to he bed and again we had to finish assembling ourselves In the end we didn't get any discount even though they were several hours late and we even tipped the kids, knowing first hand what a hard job being a mover is When we called the next day to let them know abbey was stolen, they "investigated" (only after I called again and spoke with a different person). They said nothing was stolen and didn't even offer a discount Worse experience ever I am leaving a review because I hired them since they have good stars read more

I was expecting a lot more based off of the conversation with the owner when booking them. Sadly, the foreman was pretty sluggish and brought down the rest of the team. A job that has been done by 3 other moving companies completed the work in 3-4 hours and these guys took 6 hours. Won't be using them again in the future. Oh and they damaged a couple of pieces and didn't bother to tell me. read more

They are so efficient and nice! Definitely recommend them to friends. Will also ask for Bobby's team again next time we move. Thanks!

THIS COMPANY BUYS FIVE STAR REVIEWS! Too many 5 star ratings to be true? That's because it isn't. When these guys leave your house, they offer you $20 to write a 5 star review right there in front of them. Because they were $600 over what I had budgeted, the $20 they offered was not even close to enough to win my positive review, not to mention the fact that this is a dishonest practice. When I booked this move, I was offered three movers for $150/hr. or 4 for $170/hr. (These may not be exact but the pricing was something like that). I picked four thinking that it would speed things up. When only three movers (two of whom were a little too advanced in age to really move things well) arrived in a truck that was too small for a 3 bedroom house, I should have sent them on their way. It took TEN HOURS to move our three bedroom home. About an hour into it, I realized that they were fully intending to drag the move on as long as possible so I went and got a U-Haul truck and my husband, mother and I moved the entire contents of my garage and patio ourselves. By the time we got to hour nine, I was about two seconds away from a nervous breakdown so I told them to please just put everything in my garage (rather than take it inside) and leave. So, the next morning, I ended up moving about 30% of our stuff out of the garage and into the house myself. I could have saved $1500 and done this move with a U-Haul and a couple of friends in half the time. The whole reason that I hired a moving company is because I have a chronic illness which limits my physical activity. However, I put so much physical activity into this move that I wound up making myself ill. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. read more

I have given this company a week to right their wrong, don't normally write reviews, but this one needs to be. Movers showed up late after they were scheduled, and its very easy to see why they chose to bill hourly, 3 movers, one on phone most of the time. Entire move took 8 hours, for reference, a company named "youmoveme" did this same move in 5 hours just a year ago.. Now, hard to judge a company for just being slow if everything arrived ok, but it did not, they literally destroyed a leather couch. Pictures will be attached. So after having the movers note the damage I call their office and am promised a call back, that didn't happen. Call again the next day and am told I will "get a call back"... NOPE. I get an email asking for pictures, I send the email, and all communication after this (4 days) now is dark. According to the email they have a "Customer Care Manager" although this person is either on the phone the entirety of their shift, or maybe doesn't exist.. Oh and want to know why they have so many 5 star reviews? They take $50 off your bill if you write one.. We will see if that follows yelp's guidelines read more

I hired these movers because of their awesome Yelp reviews. It was the worst moving experience I have every had. They were 1.5 hours late on two separate days. They underestimated the time. They left 4- yes I am not exaggerating, four truck loads of stuff in our old house. They damaged the hardwood on three flights of stairs in our new house. Not small scratches but irreparable 3cm gauged holes into the hardwood in three different flights of stairs. The second moving day they estimated that they would be finished around four PM. They finished at 10 pm. They were kind and courteous but the absolute disregard for my new property is inexcusable. If I could give them fewer stars I would. read more

I am going to completely honest here. I think Denver professional movers is a solid four stars. I hired a crew of 5 to help move my large 4 bed/3 bath home. Most moves I've done with this size home took on average 6-8 hours and i always had (at most) three guys to move me. I thought having five guys would make the move go a lot faster but I was wrong. Let me preface this by saying that the guys took extra care when handling my breakables and furniture. They made it a point to wrap everything up very well and were extremely careful when it came to carrying my stuff down the stairs and in to the truck. But they were slow. It seemed that these five guys were doing the work that three could do. For example: one guy would be wrapping up a piece of furniture and the other would be watching him! And then I'd see another guy carrying ONE small box out to the truck. All in all they were pretty good and ultimately got the job done. I have just seen movers work a lot harder especially when the rate is an hourly one. **Update**: after unpacking and getting settled i found that a few of my picture frames got scuffed during transit. I specifically expressed that the movers take extra care to wrap each frame so this wouldn't happen! They assured me that they had a "special place" for each frame and that they would be ok. Well I guess their special place wasn't that special. I will be making a claim for the damages. read more

I just used Denver Professional Movers based on reviews we read here. We were not disappointed. We loved several things about them: 1) We were charged by the hour, so we could move what we were able prior to their arrival without having to decide on what was going and having a "set" bid. 2) They communicated very well with us all the little details and tried to help make it less stressful. 3) They showed up on a blizzard morning to move us (just a tad bit late, but that was communicated and expected). 4) Their price was reasonable. 5) They moved some armoires and large furniture down difficult curving staircases without tearing up the house or the furniture. 6) Dimitri and his crew were just nice guys! We moved 5 miles away in the Parker area. I would use them again. read more

My wife insisted I should give high praise to the several moving companies we have used in the past few years. My job requires me to relocate-OFTEN. Since I'm taking the time to do this, I must also thank Denver Professional Movers. Indeed, they were very professional, on time and we had NO damages or any complaints for our local move. My work associate suggested these movers and he was very pleased as well. I must say, these guys worked quickly, precisely and somehow managed to move our very large and heavy items down the stars ! They made it look easy. Lastly, the clincher for me-they were very affordable, I paid well under my moving expense allowance. read more

There was a mixup between what we were told on the phone call vs the mover's work order. Even though issue was resolved after a rather rude conversation, one of the two movers kept reminding us--to the point of complaining and scolding--how inconvenient our job was for them. Even after tipping them quite generously, the worker then continued to tell us how much more the job should have cost and how great he and his coworker were to have completed it in the time they did. On a positive note, they were timely, hard working, and efficient. Also Conscientious about doing a good job and listened well to our directions. Good prices but due to the interactions, I wouldn't use this company again. read more
