The Denver Microbrew Tour is a great way to experience Denver's vast beer scene. It consists of hopping around to 4 different breweries and sampling a plethora of local brews. We had an awesome tour guide named Bryce who was fun, interesting, informative, and turned the whole tour into a party. You don't only get to sample a lot of interesting beer, but you also get to share drinks with people from all over the world, which makes the tour a fun social event as well. You also learn a lot about the history of Denver and even a bit of history about beer itself. Not to mention, the "samples" you get are very generous and you also get a free pint at the end, so don't expect to finish the tour off sober! read more

Went on the Saturday afternoon Brew Tour with some family and friends. We had a blast. Our tour guide Bryce did a phenomenal job...he was funny and very knowledgeable about beer and it's history. Although the weather wasn't very good the tour itself made up for it. We got to taste some good beers at each of the four brew-pubs we visited and we met some neat people on the tour. If you are looking for something fun to do in downtown Denver I would highly recommend this tour. The tour itself takes about 3-4 hours and there is a bit of walking between pubs but don't let that deter you. If you like beer and are looking for a fun afternoon this is the tour for you. read more

What a great tour and great glimpse into Denver! My mom and I were in town for a vacation, and took the RINO tour. We had amazing beer (and I can't say enough how wonderful the cidery we visited was), learned a ton about the science of beer, and bonded quite closely with our small tour group. As visitors to Denver for the week, we wanted to make sure to get a taste of as many different local brews as possible, and the Denver Microbrew Tour was a great way to do it! The group size (~20) was big enough to meet a few new people, but small enough to not be a hassle. We went to four breweries (Rock Bottom, Wynkoop, Falling Rock Tap House, and Breckenridge) and each had a space reserved for us. The amount of time at each place varied based on the number of beers we were trying (which was either two or three), how well our guide knew each of the bartenders, and how much beer we had already had....so basically, we spent more time at each successive brewery. Derek was our tour guide and he was so much fun! [Side note to Derek: If my ATM card had not been stolen two days before the tour, you would have gotten an awesome tip :( BUT, if we or any of our friends ever make it to Denver again, we'll pay it forward then!] He gave us some great, lesser-known Denver history ("So, if you're ever driving down the street and the name changes and you get lost, blame it on the hookers") and kept us entertained even with his descriptions of the beer. I think the tour is a great deal; $25 for an entertaining walking tour of Denver, 10 solid beer samples, and a coupon for a free pint. I would love to come back and do it again just to see how the beer samples change with the seasons (October was the perfect time because we got to try all the pumpkin/harvest beers!). If you're a beer fan and want to have a little guidance as you try Denver's fab microbrews, this tour is the way to go! read more

My wife and I were in town for a long weekend and definitely wanted to check out some of the breweries around Denver. We found this tour and decided to book on a Sunday afternoon. Little did we know we would be the only people on the tour as a large group was unable to make it. However, our guide Derek was super knowledgeable and friendly. Since it was just the two of us he really made it an informal thing and while he discussed the brewing process, we were able to discuss the different types of beer more in depth. You cannot go wrong with DMT as your microbrew touring authority. Ethan was phenomenal and you will enjoy your night if you are able to get him as your tour guide, hilarious and a good guy. There are several tours, we did the tour starting at River North, then Falling Rock, Wynkoop, and finishing at Rock Bottom. We will be back to try out the other tour soon. You get funny little Denver facts along the way and you are guaranteed to meet up with several people that have interesting stories, I highly recommend. This was a great way to spend 2 hours and get to taste some beers that I normally wouldn't have tried. The tour did run a few minutes late, but who cares? You're drinking beer and learning fun facts about downtown! The guide, Steve, was great too! I will say that the best tour was first- at Great Divide. They actually take you on a tour of the brewery and you get to taste 4 beers. The rest was only tastings, but was still very fun and I thought it was well worth $20. It's a great thing to do if you have relatives in town or if you're just looking for a fun afternoon leading into a fun night out! read more

Too much fun! Almost missed my plane because of it :P Ran the Rock N' Roll Half Marathon last Sunday, October 17th for my 24th birthday and brilliantly planned this Microbrew Tour after the race and before the late plane flight. Started off at my favorite microbrewery, Great Divide, and ventured to Breckinridge and Wynkoop (I was unfortunately unable to go to the 4th brewhouse but I did manage to run back to the Great Divide to redeem my one free pint coupon!). Our tour guide was knowledgable and friendly and I had a great time meeting all of the other "tourists". The group was there for a variety of different reasons, but we all got a chance to talk and know each other. It's a great way to explore a small section of downtown Denver.
