My husband and I took the brewery tour on a sunny Saturday and it was a blast! The weather was perfect, the walk around the city was a great way to experience part of downtown Denver, and our guide was very informed about beer. We could tell that Steve, our guide and the owner of the company, loves what he does! I was wondering what hops looked like and Steve dug a jar of hops out of his bag. He is knowledgeable about how beer is made, what makes a lager a lager, and can answer any of your questions. It was the best thing that we did inside of Denver. Highly recommended! read more

What a great way to experience the Denver brew scene I'm so glad we did this! We were in a group of 17 (we brought 5 folks family members) and were expertly guided around Lodo by Brice. This was a lot of fun and lasted even longer than we had anticipated. That was great. We visited 4 breweries and tasted at least 10 different type of brews. Along the way, we learned a number of things about the history of Lodo. We also were taught a great deal about the brewing process. Brice was able to answer our groups many questions about beer and brewing. Highly Recommended!!! We may do it again with out of town guests. Wear comfortable shoes. I would suggest they add a food option as well or suggest you eat well be fore you go. read more

Great tour with Ethan. He told us that he was relatively new to Denver, but he seemed to know his way around downtown and around the breweries. He was full of info about the beer and about weird Denver history. Our final stop was supposed to be Rock Bottom, but it was unexpectedly closed for a private event. Ethan apologized profusely and worked hard to make it up to everyone. He took us back to Wynkoop, where Steve, the company owner, met up with his. He, too, apologized and made sure that everybody felt that he had made it up to us. He bought us more beer at Wynkoop, gave us free pint glasses, and emailed us the next day (to apologize again!) and to offer another free tour or a 50% refund on the tour we had. Even though it didn't bother me too much not to get to Rock Bottom, I really appreciated the way both Ethan and Steve worked to make sure that everybody got their money's worth in the end. read more

A friend of mine was in town a few weeks ago, and wanted to sample some of the microbrews Denver has to offer. This is THE way to show an out-of-town guest a bit of downtown, hear some interesting tid-bits about Denver and the microbrew story, and sample (pretty generous samples) a bunch of different beers (walking from place to place, and each establishment having a designated area for us). We're from Texas as well was half the tour apparently! But we had an absolute blast...besides a little chilly lol. I'm from south texas though so definitely cold easily. This tour was amazing. Bryce was extremely knowledgeable about the production and chemistry of beer. He made the tour enjoyable through humor and interesting facts about beer and the city of Denver. He crushed it. I loved trying some beer id never would usually drink such as the chili beer. I also discovered new places to chill and drink heatti brews and shoot some billards.
