I knew the deal was too good to be true. There was a comedian in town and tickets were being sold $5 (with fees, it ended up being $9.75) so we made it date night. Like everyone said, they do make you purchase 2 items from the menu per person. I went with buying 2 bottles of water (cheapest option and I can bring it home if I don't finish). We also got fries to have something to much on and the fries were somehow stale and salty. They definitely felt like frozen fries that were heat up when ordered. Like everyone said, if you're going to make us order food, at least try to make it edible.

My daughter and I came for the Wicked sing-a-long. This was our first time at this venue. There is plenty of parking due to it being located at an outdoor mall. We arrived shortly after the doors opened. We were seated and our server Jeremy introduced himself. We were joined by another mother daughter duo who was seated with us. My daughter ordered the Rubber Chicken, a mixture of coconut rum, light rum, blue curacao, pineapple juice and sour. It came in a souvenir glass. I chose the Comedy Cosmo, a blend of citrus vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and cranberry. Both drinks were tasty. We also got a bottled water each. Tap water in a glass was not an option. We chose to order a couple apps to share. We got the grilled chicken quesadilla and added guacamole. We also got an order of the fried pickles with ranch. Our quesadilla came with sour cream and salsa as well. Both dishes were yummy and hit the spot. For a second round I chose the Espresso Martini from the specials menu. My daughter chose the Just Peachy from the Martini menu. The show itself was such fun. The artists roamed in and out through the crowd. The host, Jessica L'Whor was fantastic and kept the show moving at a good pace. The venue was full. The servers were working hard. Jeremy had a good sized section to take care of and checked on everyone throughout. We will most definitely be back.

Always a great t8me. The establishment has a cllose off time for entry so be sure to arrive on time. The lobby has a bar for drinks and food while you wait and it's a great opportunity to mingle with others. The facilities is always clean . The seating offers full tables, you might be seated with others but there is a enough space that you don't feel cramped. The food is so-so, I would eat before or after. The view of the stage is great from all angles.

Asked for waters and they brought them without ice!

Worst service ever! Being like the 6th party in line, they seated us way in the back because we had a party of 8, when asked if they can seat us by 2 parties, 4 and 4, they said it wouldn't matter, they would still keep us in the back. When even a party of 12, they sat in 3 tables they had in the very front, 20 minutes after us! We had already consumed a whole round of drinks at the bar and were ready to order more and food. Even a manage wouldn't come and talk to us! We did pay like everyone else, $320 for 8 seats and 80 dollars of beverages at the bar! We normalize this kind of behavior and accept it while we give them our money for shitty service! We asked for waters and didn't even bring them cold or with ice.. thanks for the advice !

The Denver Improv was a great experience. The comics were very funny, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't try the food but the drinks were excellent. I ordered an adult Kool-Aid and a martini, the drinks were very strong and tasty. I highly recommend the Denver Improv if you enjoy comedy clubs.

I've been to a couple of Improv's in my time: San Jose and LA (Hollywood). Tonight, we hit up the Denver spot to check out Deon Cole. So far no improv is the same but all provide a great platform to see some legit comedy live. This Denver location is so unsuspecting as it's in the middle of an outdoor shopping mall and not far off of 70 in Northfield. The upside to the location is that parking is ample. To the right of the box office, the entry will take you past the bar and through a hallway before you are ID'd, tickets are scanned, and you're seated. Seats are based on how early you purchased your tickets. I appreciate that. You're a super fan? Cool. We're gonna seat you closer. Perhaps you're late on the draw, no problem. There's not a bad seat in the house. I will say this, the tables of 4 are for ants. We happened to buy a full table just for the two of us and am damn glad we did. Sharing with 2 strangers would've been really weird at that proximity. If you can swing it, do the 4 topper. We bought tickets for the 7pm Saturday night show. The website said doors at 545 but that seemed aggressive so we showed up closer to 615. Solid service from start to finish. Seated immediately without any line and our order was taken by Hannah. Scanned the code for the menu, ordered some bar grub and drinks and waited for the show to start. The calendar doesn't go out further than April at this point, so I'll be checking back to see who else is coming to town. Will definitely be back.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fun for special movie outings…read more We came to see Guillermo Del Toro's "Frankenstein" with our friends and it did not disappoint. We've been to the downtown LA one a couple of times and the drill was the same: You start by scanning the QR code and making the initial order, then during the movie you write down your order on the provided pad and pressing the service call button. You have 20 minutes after the movie ends to settle up your bill; after that they will close it out for you with 20% gratuity. We ordered: - Spicy ranch popcorn (spicy! It's a dry powder so I should've gotten some light butter on it to hold the powder to the popcorn--we kept accidentally inhaling it, doh) - Churro crunch popcorn (not too sweet, with slight salty notes that gave it a really nice touch) - Vegan cauliflower bites with celery and fries (the gochujang sauce was a little too sweet and the fries were limp--just meh) - I got a Pilsner, hubby got an IPA The food was just ok but the service and atmosphere were great. The seats weren't THE most comfortable recliners, as they didn't recline quite as much as the AMC chairs we were used to, but they were fine. One of the best things at these theaters is the 15-20 minute montage they show before the movie that's related to the feature--worth getting there early for. Some of the clips they included were really obscure and funny, like the one from the 1960s where Frankenstein goes to college and becomes a party animal, lol.

Clues were given out by using our phone to scan the barcode as the mystery progressed. Each table discussed clues and also people could wander to other tables to provide theories of who done it. Only 1 person guessed correctly. My partner and I had handed our photos in as requested. Imagine my surprise when both of us were picked to participate! I was suspect #1 and my partner was "interrogated " by the detectives but it was all in good fun and we took it in stride. The audience were awesome and the actors/staff were very organized and easily flowed with improv (we didn't have scripts). The Embassy Hotel was classy and the perfect setting for the show. We used the hotel valet parking garage for easy access. There was a pre choice of meals (chicken, pork, and vegetarian). Our chicken and pork were good but lukewarm. We ate salad and had cake for dessert. A cash bar was available. We each got a complimentary shot glass, "shots fired" because we did reviews. If you're looking for a interesting night out, go check this out!
