I reached out to Bug Man from a Google search, and Pat responded promptly to my inquiry. She had John out the same day I called to get this quickly turned around. John arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection. He was very personable and professional. I printed the form they needed to fill out since it was same day service, and he returned it to me along with pictures that night! I was able to quickly provide this info to my mortgage servicer. The cherry on top - they charged less than half of what their competitor did that wouldn't bother to come out to Brighton from Arvada. I highly recommend Bug Man for quick, efficient, and professional service.

I have dealt with three different pest control companies in the past…read more Two were horrible, one is worth recommending. As is the representative who provided the actual service. ***TOM JACKSON***, who I met recently when he provided Homeshield service for my home, puts the other providers to shame. He was professional, patient, great communication skills, friendly and well versed when explaining the pest control treatments used. He also gave extra treatment where there have been horrible wasp issues and no one else was that aggressive to help rid us of the wasps. Good luck with your pest control companies. Hopefully you'll go with this recommendation and choose Homeshield...but be sure to ask for ***TOM JACKSON*** if you want a thorough and professional service. The basement was always too cold in the winter and we had noticeable temperature shifts between floors. The summer heat caused similar problems. Aceco identified the areas where we were losing heat/cold and gave us a few options to best correct the problem. They also worked with our schedules and completed the work in a single day. We had some extremely cold nights this winter, but the heat has never shut off (yeah!) and the temperature differences between floors is gone. Hooray! We're happy with the results and expect that the summer cooling problems will also be resolved. (That open question is keeping my rating at 4 stars until this is confirmed.)

These guys are totally irresponsible. We called about a raccoon in our attic. They charged us $199…read morefor an "inspection." The guy went up on our roof and confirmed that the 'coon was getting in via an exhaust vent for our attic fan, which is what we had figured. He never looked in the attic at all. He set a trap on our roof and baited it with cat food. A couple days later, when that didn't seem to be working, my wife put some smoked salmon in the trap. Bingo! At 2 am Saturday we heard the raccoon thumping around. When we got up we verified that he was indeed in the cage and called AcEco at 8 am. Even though they claimed to be available 24/7, the phone rang and rang and rang before we finally got a recording. We left a message asking for them to call us and let us know when they'd be up. Several hours later we called again. Same thing. Sunday at 11 am we called to say that there was supposed to be a foot of snow on the way and that it would be animal cruelty to leave him up there. When there was still no response we called Animal Control. Officer Clark was great -- she came right out to check out the situation. Although AcEco told us they had 32 hours to pick the raccoon up once he was trapped, she said that was not the case: that it was 24 hours and the trap was supposed to be in a sheltered place anyway, not directly exposed to the elements. She was also highly dubious that they were, as they claimed to us, a catch-and-release company. In any event, after she called them and left a message which went unreturned, she went up and lowered the cage down with a rope. This was a monster raccoon -- probably 25-35 lbs. While we would have liked to have had him transported up to the foothills somewhere, all she could do was release him in our front yard. It is obvious that this company is unresponsive once they've taken your money and cares nothing for the welfare of the animal. They also don't seem to care about abiding by regulations.

We are writing this review in regards to work that was done at our home by Best Pest and Wildlife…read more They used scare tactics by telling us that our home was experiencing a "catastrophic infestation." After removing all of the insulation in the ceiling and setting up 75+ traps, seven mice were trapped. We contracted BP to seal our house from any further intrusions. After BP assured us that the house would be 100% sealed, we still have a rodent issue. BP technicians placed steel wool in the gaps between the stucco and the foundation but did not complete the job. We had two representatives from BP, as well as one from another company, agree that the job was not done correctly and was incomplete. There were many issues with BP's service: A vent to the crawl space was left off for three months. A technician from BP was supposedly checking bait traps right next to the vent but, after he signed off on the work order, did not report it to the company or the homeowner, A ceiling light was damaged and suntube was removed and insulation spread over the skylight. After being contacted by the homeowner, BP did correct these two issues. A ceiling van vent no longer opens - When we opened it by hand large pieces of insulating debris fell out, The utility was not cleaned and sanitized as agreed upon in a lengthy discussion with the BP representative. BP eventually sent a person to clean and sanitize the room, downspouts were not cleared before adding a leaf guard - no responses when BP was contacted about this The lack of communication is incredibly frustrating. After discovering the latest droppings in our crawlspace, we contacted BP for how they are going to rectify the problem. It has been over a week and we are still waiting for a response. This is typical when typing to communicate with BP. When they said the work was completed, the crew left and the remaining balance was withdrawn from our credit card without doing a walkthrough or talking with us. BP will only warranty their work if you maintain a $99/month plan to be sure they "did a good job." Actual quote from the representative. Best Pest and Wildlife did not fulfill their contract. After encapsulating our crawl space by another company, we still see droppings near egress points to our basement. We have not heard back from management in over a week - despite numerous calls and text messages. We cannot recommend Best Pest Wildlife Control and strongly advise others to look elsewhere for any rodent situations that need to be addressed.

About 18 days later, I asked if they were still interested in doing the job. No reply. So if this is how they tell you they've decided not to work with you, it's not an awesome communication method.
