We needed a quick turnaround inspection for Wood Destroying Insects for our mortgage servicer. I did an initial inquiry through Yelp to a specific business, but the business responded that we were outside of their area to provide service. I reached out to Bug Man from a Google search, and Pat responded promptly to my inquiry. She had John out the same day I called to get this quickly turned around. John arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection. He was very personable and professional. I printed the form they needed to fill out since it was same day service, and he returned it to me along with pictures that night! I was able to quickly provide this info to my mortgage servicer. The cherry on top - they charged less than half of what their competitor did that wouldn't bother to come out to Brighton from Arvada. They are friendly, quick, and do their best to be discreet in our business atmosphere. If I could give them a ZERO I would. Total scam company. We had set up service for our business and them to come every other month. The first couple of apts. went well, though the technician was always coming at the wrong time. My business is a very busy medical business and we can't have him there while we have patients. I explained this multiple times. He would also show up when we were not open yet and then call and say no one was there. I explained to the offer manager, who is a rude, incompetent woman, and she said she would convey to the tech to come at the times we scheduled. The worst apt. was the last (and final) time we used them. The technician claims he showed up to our business and he did not. I was there the entire time, and we have a street facing building with windows surrounding us. You can see out, not only that, we have a camera that records people coming in and out. He was NEVER THERE. The office manager called me a liar when I stated he did not show up (this is after multiple late and no shows on their part), and they billed me $150! I refuse to pay this bogus charge, as he did not even show up or provide a service. They have since sent me to collections, and I am taking them to small claims court. Stay away from this company and go with a reputable company that doesn't scam people out of money for fake appointments. I have been in business for 11 years and have a A+ rating with the BBB and Dunn and Bradstreet. I have never had a problem paying my bills, if they are LEGIT. I know how hard it is to be a small business. I make a point to support small businesses. It is sad that they are ruining their own business by lying and scamming for a few bucks. I called today for a quote on bug service and the lady was explaining the 30 day guarantee. She than proceeded to say "you may see a few spiders after the first treatment so don't be alarmed". Told her I understood, she said that most people call back the next day saying they seen spiders so she always has to explain the process and than said" you got to give it time to kill all the spiders if our stuff was potent that the US Govt. would be using it at their borders to keep away all the pesky Mexicans" told her that I did not appreciate her racist remark and unprofessionalism.. Told her she had my service till her trashy comment was made..Took my business elsewhere! read more

We paid $125 to have our home sprayed for pest/insect control in August. We have used other pest control companies before and it has been my experience over 12 years this has always been an approximate 30/45 minute service to do the interior/exterior perimeters properly. I was surprised he was finished in less than 10-15 minutes (4200 sq ft) and when I mentioned my concern with the little amount of time he invested in doing this job, he stated if we had any problems he would be happy to spray again "within our warranty period" and sealed it with a "guarantee" so I gave him the benefit of my doubt on whether a thorough job was done. Unfortunately we continued to see spiders, bugs and other insects so I called three weeks after initial application and asked for the warranty to be honored. I wasn't interested in debating/arguing about the very little amount of time the technician spent in comparison to other exterminators to successfully exterminate or why we were still seeing insects/spiders in our home. I was only interested in receiving the services we paid $125 for and to have insects/pests exterminated and done so properly, perimeter to perimeter. The technician returned only to inform me he would spray "only the rooms I have recently seen spiders". That is not a warranty but an unprofessional and lazy way to address a significant problem. It's an obvious fact the spiders/insects are not originating "only in the areas they were visible in" but are there due to the fact the original application was not a thorough job done properly as I first suspected leaving me feeling uncertain and disappointed again In summary, I believe we didn't get what we paid for and to be very CLEAR there is "NO WARRANTY". I will have to call another pest control business to have our home spayed again perimeter to perimeter professionally with attention to detail which takes longer than 10 minutes. I will share my experience on our community social media page with my neighbors should they decide to use this company so they can emphasize that "proper time needs to be taken with attention to detail" since the warranty is bogus. read more

What a scam of a company! After the representative came to my home he said our pest problem was simply a outdoor problem and the pests were coming in from the outside. The rep couldn't have been more uninterested in his job. We decided to go with Orkin and they informed us that the pests had colonized from inside the house so not only was the Bug Man wrong about their diagnosis but they then send me a bill for $65!!! What?! Their advertising offers "Free Estimates" which is why I called in the first place. The lady on the phone told me that the free estimate was over the phone which was not given and she is now threatening to immediately send our bill to the collection agency sense I told her I refuse to pay the bill due to misleading advertising. What kind of company threatens their customers in that way?! I'm usually all about supporting small family businesses as my mother is an entrepreneur herself but they are a disgrace to the name of small family business. read more
