So, a few weeks later, I reached out again - no reply. Same thing a few weeks later. It's a shame - seems like they do good work and we would have liked to work with them. Edit: The business replied with totally inaccurate information. I put out a call for weeding. The next day, I got a "quote" of $65/hour so I said it sounded great and would be happy to have them come look at the scope and start work. No reply. About 18 days later, I asked if they were still interested in doing the job. No reply. So if this is how they tell you they've decided not to work with you, it's not an awesome communication method. Hopefully others have better luck connecting with them to get work completed.

I cannot say enough good things about Down To Earth Landscaping. Drew Rini and his crew did a…read moregreat job landscaping our front yard. Dog walkers and strangers biking and driving by, have stopped to comment on how amazing our yard looks. Drew and his hard working crew installed the irrigation system, rock, mulch and plants in just a few days. Drew knows a lot about shrubs and flowers and offered up a wonderful blueprint for our yard. He has stayed in touch throughout our summer of 100+ degree days to ensure that our plants and flowers are staying alive. Like everything else, landscaping is not cheap; but with our current drought conditions, it seemed like the right thing to do. Drew found a way to work within our budget and we consider our money well spent. If you are considering xeriscape, consider this company.

They were quick to give me a reasonable estimate, were flexible when I needed to make some changes, and stuck to their projected timeline throughout the project - The actual work only took a day and a half and everything looks great. I've posted some before and after pictures with this review. They didn't build the pavilion in the pictures (although they could have), but they did give me advice about the kit I bought and the most cost-effective way to put it up which I really appreciate :)

Fantastic Customer Service (Thanks Maya!)…read more I don't even have my actual service scheduled until next week so I'll try to remember to update then, but I just had to post this right after my first phone call. I called to schedule a general yard cleanup and spoke with Maya. She gave me very straightforward pricing, told me what to expect, and asked all the right questions about my needs. She was so knowledgeble that I kept her on the phone for quite a while, asking her details about various potential projects such as gravel, sod and sprinkler system installation (they do all of these). She gave me an overview of what each of these projects entailed, the general time/maintenance/cost involved, and was super patient answering all my questions thoroughly without ever trying to "sell" me anything. It was so refreshing to have a dedicated, knowledgeable human pick up on my first call and answer all my questions right away; Versus other places where it's usually someone who is either (1) only trained to schedule and sell services without any deeper understanding of the business; or (2) a busy foreman in a rush to their next site with no time for questions. Not their fault, just makes it a little tougher to know what you're getting. Assuming the quality of their work match that of their customer service I will be using them for future projects for sure!
